Do & Co Hotel Munich (Munich, Bavaria) 1 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The city-center building in which DO & CO Munich makes its home is an unusual one: FC Bayern World is a monument to the storied local football club, an immersive retail experience with contributions from partners like Audi and the DO & CO hospitality brand. The latter is responsible for a thoroughly tasteful and luxurious high-end boutique hotel, a worthy sequel to its older sister in Vienna. Along with 30 stunningly stylish rooms and suites — one for each of Bayern’s league championships to date — the hotel contains a pair of fine restaurants, one a contemporary Asian experience and the other an upscale Mediterranean-inspired bistro." - Tablet Hotels

We stayed in a Junior Suite for two nights during our first visit to Munich. The location is extremely convenient (at Marienplatz) and very close to the S-bahn station, which has a direct train to Munich airport (11 stops). The room was very comfortable and had clean, modern decor. We are particular when it comes to cleanliness and also don't typically like carpeting in hotels (dusty). We often find forced-air heating to be too drying. Our room here was very spacious and comfortable, did not feel too dry, and the room was very clean. The shower was spacious with excellent water pressure and had a curtain on one side (but was open on the other side so was open to view depending on where you might be in the room). For those who found it awkward, an easy fix might be for the hotel to install another similar curtain along the open side. We provided privacy to the person who was showering by keeping to the bed and sofa side of the hotel room - it wasn't really an issue for us but we could see how it might be for others. The double sinks were a nice bonus as well. There was a lot of storage and table surfaces to place your belongings on, something often missing in hotel rooms. ||The staff was welcoming and friendly, and they gave us a brief orientation about the elevator prioritization when we arrived and took us up to our room. They greeted us every time we exited and entered the hotel, and offered us water when we arrived and again when we checked out. We asked for an extra 30 minutes of time before checking out (to 12:30pm) which they kindly accommodated for us (and the gentleman also noticed it was my birthday and wished me a happy birthday).||This was by far our favorite hotel during our trip to Germany (and one of our favorite hotels worldwide) and we will most definitely stay here again the next time we visit Munich (and will recommend it to our friends and family as well).

We absolutely loved the DO & CO Hotel in Munich. The hotel is beautiful with wonderful employees. The rooms are spotless and so very nicely equipped with comfortable beds. In addition, the hotel surprised my wife for her birthday with a nice welcome gift. The staff truly care about you and your comfort. Also, the location cannot be beat. All in all, it's a wonderful hotel where we would stay again.

Excellent location. Friendly staff. Nice room and amenities. Unpretentious and cosy. No concierge but you get all advice from front desk. Worth the price. I stayed at MO and Rosewood in Munich and I am not sure if they were worth the money spent. Unless you want spa, pool etc, Do and Co lives up to expectation of a decent 5-star hotel.

Perfect location for moving around Munich and this is the reason why I choose DO & CO for my family trip. Staffs are quite helpful and friendly enough. In particular, everyone who works at Restaurant was super kind and professional. A la carte breakfast was impeccable. However bathroom is very unconventional - see trough shower with glass wall (with a curtain to cover half as well) and also bathroom is with a dimmed glass door. It might not matter for some people but it is for me. Extra bed transformed from sofa wasn't comfortable at all. Sharing lift with next building is another issue. For seven nights including breakfast and one night dinner cost me more than 6K Euro. Standard room without breakfast is highly recommendable considering the location and quality of service. I would choose this option if I were a lone. By the way, thanks a lot for giving me such a wonderful view room !

Amazing hotel! First of all the location is so amazing. We were able to walk to most of the things we did, and for the other things the metro is literally steps away. The service is top notch and it’s by far the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. The bar and restaurant were also great. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through Munich!

Hotel is very nice, location is perfect, staff is kind. The room was spatious, bed was comfortable, a bit low for my taste. However be aware that the bathroom is very unconventional - see trough shower but with a curtain and also toilett room is with a dimmed glass door. We had a dinner in the hotel restaurant, it was very tasty and the service was very good. We didn’t have breakfast due to an early flight so I cannot comment on that.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel with five-star service and an unbeatable location. You essentially walk out onto the Marienplatz. It's also right near a train station if you need to venture out of the city center. The customer service is impeccable, and the furnishings are modern and elegant. There are some really nice touches as well. Some highlights were fluffy slippers, a good make-up mirror, black-out shades, double sinks, and a motion sensor that activated a bathroom light at night. Also, we were there on December 6, the Feast of Saint Nicholas, and received a little treat bag with nuts, fruit, and chocolate.||Nonetheless, there were a few downsides. (1) Noise. The perfect location means that the hotel comes with some noise. (2) Lack of privacy with the shower. The shower is fine, but it is all glass and is only curtained on one part. This could be really awkward for some travelers. (3) The turn-down service, which was . . . odd. We came back one evening to a bed that had been made up but nothing else in the room had been done, i.e. no fresh towels or amenities or emptied garbage. Not a big deal, but it seemed a bit pointless. ||Finally, (4), transportation. Taxis/Ubers can't go directly to the hotel without permission given zoning issues, so you have to go through a little administrative process at the hotel to make it work. However, the hotel offers pick-up and drop-off service at the airport for 125 euros each way for a car, or 175 euros for a van (pricing as of December 2025). We arranged for the car, but had a van each way for the price of a car. Admittedly, this is expensive but it's also quite convenient. It's worth it if you have any mobility concerns, excess luggage, etc. ||Overall, a five-star stay. Yes, you pay for it, but the hotel really does take care of every little thing so you can relax and enjoy Munich.

DO & CO is set in a fantastic location, just inside Old Town and only steps away from all the action. The hotel is a short walk from the metro and a wide variety of local and international restaurants. DO & CO is very clean, quiet and the rooms are a good size. What really sets DO & CO above other 5-star hotels is their top service culture. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome. Our plane was 2-hrs late and the driver organised by the hotel waited at the airport. I got the flu and was laid up in bed for two days. We had a hire car and the hotel organised for one of their porters to drive the car with my wife and return the car. It was not close and this is something I have never heard of any other hotel doing. Finally, when I did make it back down stairs, all the staff asked how I was and hoped I felt better. It really did feel like being part of a large family. Special shout out and thank you to Claudius and Maria, and all the other staff. Highly recommended and we’ll be back.
