It's just not good. Everything we ordered tasted like nothing :-/ I've seen this chef on chopped all the time critiquing and criticizing others food. I wonder if he's ever tasted his own? Even if you're starving and this is the only place open, do yourself a favor and get a sandwich from a vending machine at the airport. Cheaper and will taste a whole lot better. I'm surprised the Cosmo hotel let's this place keep operating.

Google
Awful. Definitely not the great food Vegas is known for. Tasteless, terrible presentation and flat staff. Anywhere but here, you're better off buying a .99 mama celeste frozen pizza and many places in Vegas have equal or better wine selections. I won't even start on the mixed drinks, just don't go. Hoping this dump is the next casualty of Vegas dining and closes sooner rather than later.

I guess I just expected better. Not world class, not once in a life time, but just better. The service was ok, better than ok, but about average. The food was just plain ok. Artichoke appetizer was severely underseasoned (solved by requesting some lemon and salt); cooked very well, and a truly interesting dish, and very good on quantity, but just underseasoned. Rapini side was limp and soggy and also underseasoned. Eggplant parm was soggy and the eggplant wasn't cooked through, so very tough and chewy and raw -- but the sauce was excellent. Positives: Great, friendly sommelier. As a Californian, we are spoiled by pricing, but ignoring that the selection was great and the advice was friendly and well done. He wasn't pushy, was very open to our tastes and interests and price points. Mushroom app was phenomenal. Needed some salt, but I am really wondering how they cooked them so perfectly without even a hint of oiliness. Worth ordering. My wife says the clams app was fantastic, but was surprisingly spicy (which she loves, but I wonder if average spice patrons would also enjoy). Cocktails were a tad watery. To their credit, they took the eggplant and rapini off the check and comped two desserts. Skip the tiramisu (very dry), but DO get the salted caramel thing (wow!). In short, it was ok. It wasn't great. For the owner, I am perplexed. They missed on basic execution issues. For the price, there's much much better in LA and even in Vegas. Not clear if Conant has just licensed out his name or if he just doesn't deliver on the demands he makes when he's judging other chefs on TV. Save your money and hit a local Italian joint, or spend your money and get a better meal elsewhere. --arun baheti

The food here is amazing. Definitely get the scallops. Good prices are downright reasonable for Vegas, and the wine list is stellar. Oh, and get dessert. If the butterscotch budino is on it, you have to.

Rhonda Michaels

Google
Awful. A place as great as the Cosmopolitan in a town like Las Vegas even keeping this crap place open on their venue is insulting. The food is tasteless, the staff is unkept and unprofessional, and the bartender needs to go back to learn how to properly make a drink. Worst in Vegas, hopefully it will be next to close down like Kahunaville. Skip this one everyone, tourists you can definitely do better at your small town diner, experience Vegas right and steer clear of DOCG. Waste of time and valuable space on the strip.

Google
This place has no redeemable value. Everything tasted bland. The pizza was overpriced. Even the soda I ordered costed as much as a drink with booze in it. $4.50 per 12 oz aluminum bottle. I felt nickel and dimed for everything there. I'm surprised they didn't charge for the house bread and oil. Don't bother with this place. For 2 pizzas, 2 sodas, a soup and a salad cost over $100 with tip.

Google
Excellent Italian food and a great wine list capped with excellent service. A deep, narrow space dominated by a bar and a row of booths. Not too dim, but definitely a respite from the lights of the Strip. Opened dinner with glass of wine at the bar and then moved to a table for one of the best Italian meals I've had. Started with a fried artichoke, fantastic, and the scallops, which were killer. I had a braised duck over pasta as my entree and it was, again, killer. Service was spot on, and prices are a deal for what you're getting, Dessert was the caramel budino, which is just pudding. Life changing pudding. I bought Scott Conant's cookbook the next day just for this recipe. DOCG is worth the trip, and you have to get the budino.

Greg Hammon

Google
Just plain bad. The caesar salad was obviously made ahead of time and not authentic...just creamy dressing on top of romaine. Contrary to the claims, the pasta isn't made fresh on-site, just grocery store quality, nothing more. The staff was incredibly impolite and seemed in a hurry to get me in and out.

Yelp
We tried the wine flight series with meal. Don't recommend it. Wine was terrible and food was decent. Don't recommend this place when there are so many other fabulous restaurants to choose from.

Yelp
Came in for an early dinner with a party of 7. Being that their party room wasn't reserved they decided to upgrade us and set the tone for a fantastic dinner! Luis was a fantastic server; extremely knowledgeable, lended great recommendations, and generally created a wonderful atmosphere for us. The food itself was impeccable; we started with a few of the Raviolo which were unbelievable, as well as their Steak Tartare, which out of the 4 I had this week was my favorite. Lastly, the entrees; we had every pasta on the menu and not a single one disappointed, with the best being the Short Rib Agnolotti, possibly the best pasta I've had in a year. I would highly recommend Scarpetta!
google avatar

Alex J.

Yelp
Scarpetta is an upscale Italian restaurant with a stunning bar that leads to the main dining area, which opens up to breathtaking views overlooking the Bellagio fountains and beyond. Not all tables have a view, but many do, even if they're not right by the windows. I visited Scarpetta for a 'girl date' with a couple of my besties, and it offered the perfect atmosphere for us to yap away while enjoying sumptuous food and wine. I can definitely see this restaurant being an ideal spot for a romantic date night as well. Tip: Reserve ahead. We made reservations for a Friday night dinner through OpenTable, and it was a good thing we did because every table was full during our meal. The food and wine were a bit on the pricey side, so I'd consider this more of a special occasion spot for most. However, I believe the experience was worth the cost. The service was 5-star, and the portions were generous. For the three of us, the bill came out to around $390 after tax and tip. Here's what we ordered: Food: - Starter bread basket (five different breads) + toppings/dips: 5/5 - Grass-Fed Beef Tartare: 5/5 - Beet Salad - Branzino - Pork Chop: 5/5 - Gnocchi Drinks: - Red wine (prices ranged from $18 to $28 per glass, with an extensive wine list for bottle purchases).

Yelp
Dinner here with a group of fellow lawyers when in town for a meeting. I was happy to see this was the dinner pick and looked forward to some nice Italian. It did not deliver. Food? It was probably 3 stars. Not amazing but not bad at all. The service? Ugh. It took an hour to even get dinner orders taken - and only when my friend went and grabbed a manager to move things along. Things for a little better then but it still was a 3 hour meal -- and I was among the first to leave and before dessert. I kept it simple and did the spaghetti. It was so so. I'm born into a big Italian family and know my way around pasta. I also cook fairly well, but do not pretend I do better than a quality Italian restaurant, but I could have done better than they did. I wanted it to be exceptional but it was just okay. The bread we started with was very good at least. No one else I was seated near was impressed with the food. The really poor service for a table that was ordering a lot and bottles of wine was a let down. Add to that the food just being okay for the price, and being so done with it at the three hour mark that I didn't want to hold on for dessert makes it a 2 star for me. I would not go back with so many other places nearby including Carbone.

Yelp
Wow! That short rib raviolis are a must have here! This is signature for them. So we came here for a private dinner and had an OKAY view of the water fountains. If you really want to have an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains in Vegas..it isn't this spot. I've been to restaurants face in center view. But you can still see it from here..maybe not in private room as much. Since this was a private event with a prefixe menu...options were limited but I would choose the short rib ravioli over the filet mignon any day. This isn't a steak-based restaurant. It's Italian. If you want steak, you go to a steak restaurant. But my husband said the filet mignon is okay..nothing better than the others. We started with appetizers. I didn't care for their caprese/tomato app. It was chunks of veggies with cheese. The polenta dip was delicious and the focaccia bread was so addictive!! It was so warm and delicious! That short rib ravioli was so good with that meat very tender that it melts in your mouth. The sauce was light and delicious . That bone marrow just makes it even more tastier. I literally finished this in one sitting! Dessert- We got the beignets which were okay. It was good but nothing amazing. We also got the ricotta cheesecake and coconut panna cotta which were better. Service was great and friendly! One major critique I have is...if it's a private dinner..I don't get why bottled glass water wasn't on the table! I honestly think a high end restaurant like this shouldn't be offering tap water. Bus out the Acqua Panna water. Don't let tap water be an option at this point. Plus Vegas water sucks at this point.

Yelp
WOW! Dined here with a few coworkers while in town for business. We shared the yellowtail crudo , calamari, and Caesar salad. All great! The yellowtail crudo was a standout with very unique flavor coming from the pickled red onion topping. For my main I had the short rib agnolotti and WOW! The short rib was flavorful and tender, and the perfect amount of filling. The horseradish and breadcrumb topping was super unique. I have never tried anything quite like this pasta dish and would not skip it! Finally, I finished the meal with the tiramisu which was outstanding. I also enjoyed a lovely glass of the Chianti wine. Service was friendly and quick. We got lucky with our table and had a really nice view of the Belaggio fountain. They also have a lovely bar area which is first come first serve if you are not able to snag a reservation. Las Vegas certainly has many dining options but this was a standout in my opinion.

Yelp
We've been twice and have tried several things. Scarpetta is a solid choice for Italian. The service has been uniformly very good. Both times, we were steered towards dishes - albeit completely different ones - and away from a couple of choices. The bread basket is wonderful, served with a trio of topping options. Both times we had the raviolo, which is a favorite dish of mine. The version here is good, but it pales when compared to the egg yolk raviolo served at Osteria Mozza in LA. The oysters were undeniably fresh but the tangerine mignonette, apples and other flavors overwhelmed the bivalves. I wouldn't order these again. First visit, I had the squid ink tagliatelle with lobster. It was good, particularly the lobster which was good quality. This time, I had the brown butter pasta, which was good but not that exciting. My SO had the short rib with crab the first visit (crab was the highlight of that meal!) and this time went with spaghetti with meatballs. Maybe we do keep ordering wrong, but there is something about Scarpetta that keeps it a very solid option but not a stellar choice, especially since Carbone is temptingly nearby and the Italian there is truly outstanding.

Yelp
Def a spot you need reservations for. But keep in mind this spot does have a dress code, so you can't roll up with sweats and your swim wear lol. Had dinner right when they opened at 5 pm and within a few moments, the restaurant was full! I would recommend requesting to sit by the window so you can see the Bellagio Foundation and night lights if you're into that. It was my first time here. Move toward one of the highlights of the cosmo hotel, the chandelier and it takes you to the escalators. You'll take the escalator to the third floor and go to the right. You'll see Red Plate and then Scatpetta is to the left with a colorful wall. Started with a drink, which was the Sophia Loren which is made with prosecco which was pretty decent. I ordered the Agnolotti which is a pasta dish with bits of short rib and breadcrumbs in a brown butter sauce which was very flavorful with each bite. And what makes it good? Fresh made pasta! But who can forget to mention the breadbasket?! It comes with 3 types of bread being traditional sourdough, then two types of bread that are warmed being the focaccia and Stromboli. And they prvide a circus olive oil, eggplants, and a whipped butter which were all tasteful. With the eggplants, a little goes a long way. And to end the night, had the mascarpone creme brùlée which was huge! But it was so delicious! My server was Ricardo I believe, and the service was really good! Checked on you enough, and provided suggestions and was friendly.

Yelp
Gorgeous restaurant and divine food! We had a pretty large group and was able to get seated in the fountain room where you have an immaculate view of the Bellagio water fountain. The room was cozy and perfect for a small gathering. Luckily because we had a group of people we went ahead and ordered multitude of items from the menu, so glad because I got to taste a bit of everything! My memory of the night starts to get a little hazy, we were having a lot of tequila throughout the day... so bear with me... if I don't remember things correctly or... if I allegedly had a dish that doesn't exist... A few that were very memorable were: agnolotti, short rib and brown butter absolutely delicious! The pasta was cooked to perfection, the filling did not overpower the pasta itself. Gnocchi, I typically avoid gnocchi because it feels a bit heavy to me but... at Scarpetta I found myself indulging pretty heavily on this dish, it was outstanding! Soft, fluffy, buttery... just tasty! The Octopus was perfectly cooked and seasoned I would highly recommend you order it to share at the table. We had a few more dishes but as I mentioned, I don't trust my memory. I encourage everyone to visit Scarpetta when you're at the Cosmo! Amazing food, breathtaking views, elegant and warm atmosphere. It's perfect for any occasion.

Yelp
We had reservations for 8pm on a Saturday. We arrived at around 7:45pm, checked in, and were seated close to our reservation time. On our reservation, we requested a booth seating and were seated accordingly. Complimentary bread basket had a variety to choose from and were all fresh. My boyfriend ordered the Braised Prime Short Rib with butter poached king crab and mashed potatoes. The beef was tender and flavorful. I ordered the Colorado Lamb Rack with pecorino cheese crust, crushed potatoes, roasted bell pepper, and lamb jus. We were told that it takes about 40 minutes for the lamb. It took less than that. It was tender and cooked as ordered (medium rare) and good flavor. We ordered Thé Limoncello Cheesecake (limoncello cream, blueberry compote, blueberry sorbet). It was really delicious ! Our server, Rod, was friendly with a good demeanor, knowledgeable of the menu and checked on us regularly. Ambiance - high end Italian restaurant. Lighting is adequate. Not loud which is perfect so one can enjoy a quiet, relaxed dinner. A bit pricey but considering it is on the Strip (3rd floor of the Venetian) and the portions are adequate. Will definitely return here when in the area.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We felt well taken care of and seen. The service was impeccable! Everyone was kind, friendly and professional. They all went above and beyond. Every single person we encounter made us feel like we were a priority. We were very well taken care of. The ambiance, breathtaking. From the decor to the view. Simply amazing. Super romantic. The food was OUT of this world. Delish! Hats off to the chef(s)! My BF has a mushroom allergy and they made SURE that nothing we had at our table even touched mushrooms. I would highly recommend this for a date night. It was memorable and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here for dinner over Labor Day weekend in Vegas, and it's very possible I just hit them on an off night, but the food, service and overall experience felt pretty underwhelming. I've always noticed it was hard to get into Scarpetta on a weekend, pretty much needing to make reservations well in advance. I made my reservation more than a month in advance and even then the time slots available was scarce. But throughout the dinner I noticed a lot of empty tables during a peak hour, so that's kind of strange. This took away from the ambience a bit, but generally it feels pretty nice and romantic in there. The service was pretty good but the attitude of our waiter came off as sarcastic and impatient. My favorite things I ate here was the octopus appetizer and the table bread/stromboli which was fantastic. For entrees we ordered the short rib ravioli and duck ravioli. The presentation of these entrees was nice, but the size was small and I really failed to taste much of anything in these dishes. I would expect the fillings to have a lot of flavor in a format like this, but they really didn't. The cocktails were okay but nothing special. My theory about there being a lot of tables empty during peak hours is that people just realize there are better places to eat in Vegas for dinner, and the lack of substance with the food I got kind of helps confirm that.

Yelp
Upon checking in we were asked if we would Like the private room with a view of the Bellagio fountains. It was my 30th anniversary so yes! Everything was great! Food was delish. We had to catch a show and wish we could lingered a bit and had dessert! Next time!

Yelp
This is how I view this experience. I'm glad I experienced it because it would always be looming in the back of my mind to try one of these fancier restaurants, however, I definitely can say that I will never be back here and probably not to any other similar restaurants as well. The staff was really not knowledgeable on their own menu, quite a mess in terms of organization of when they were bringing out what course for us (were about to bring dessert after our appetizer), and twice while we were there someone dropped and broke a bunch of glasses and dishes. The portion sizes of course were pretty small, and although the taste of the food was not bad at all, everything kind of tasted the same. To be honest. The complimentary platter of bread that they brought us at the start was probably the best part of the entire meal. Which is kind of sad to be honest.
google avatar

Yelp
Scarpetta is one of the collection of excellent dining establishments at the Cosmopolitan. It has a gorgeous dining room with many tables offering a great view of the Bellagio Fountains. The ambiance is hard to top. The complimentary bread was very good! The service throughout the entire meal was very good and professional. My wife had the pumpkin soup, which she loved! I ordered the Calamari which came in a bowl and was quite an ample serving, definitely for two people, not just one. The Calamari was possibly the best I've ever eaten. It seemed quite fresh, not like the frozen stuff some places serve. (it also reheated in the oven tremendously!) Our entrees were the Day Boat Scallops and the Tagliolini Agli Scampi. There were only 4 scallops, but they were prepared nicely and very delicious. The Scampi was a nice portion. We really enjoyed it! We have been going to this wonderful restaurant for many years. The food has always been fine, but getting a reservation has not always been the easiest!

Yelp
Literally THE best food (Italian) I have ever had in my entire life! You must Have the ravioli appetizer; best thing I have ever put in my mouth. We have been here 3x and every time something else blows us away. We sneak in at the bar; but if you want formal dining, they have beautiful tables with a view, every single server bartender is amazing and attentive and can give you recommendations . Go try them!!

Yelp
Came here for dinner with friends and the service was quick and efficient. The free bread was yummy with a fun variety - one has some sort of olives baked into it. We got a pasta to share and I ordered a Kurobuta pork chop which was good, but tasted more like a typical pork chop. My friend got a brazino, which I was able to get a taste of. This was the best brazino I ever tried. It was crispy and flavorful on the outside and moist on the inside. Everything from start to finish was well executed.
google avatar

Sally W.

Yelp
Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hostess kindly seated my husband and me next to the window (for a view of the Bellagio fountains) without us even making the request. I ordered the short rib ravioli, an espresso martini, and a glass of pinot grigio. My husband got the foie gras ravioli and a cocktail. We were very satisfied with everything, and had no complaints about portion size or pricing. The ambiance and service were also top notch.

Yelp
Italian Fine Dining suited for special occasions. Gorgeous decor and ideal location with direct views of Bellagio Fountains. The starters and mains (Primi and Piatti) excellent, especially the Oysters, Beef Carpaccio, Risotto and Branzino. Consider getting dessert elsewhere. Our friend worked with the restaurant to book our group reservation for a private dining room overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. They created a custom menu to minimize our need to think and choose during our event. Everything but the drinks were paid ahead of time. As soon as we arrived, service was excellent. Here's what we ordered: Starters: OYSTER ON THE HALF SHELL - (5/5) tangerine mignonette, apple, serrano pepper. Oysters were the small ones from North Carolina. Extras briny and marinaded in a nice vinaigrette. BEEF CARPACCIO - (5/5) lemoncello, celery, arugula salad, crispy capers, parmigiana. Excellent dish! CAPRESE - (4/5) bufala mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, oregano, basil. High quality ingredients, but I didn't rave about this dish. CHOPPED CAESAR SALAD (3/5) marinated white anchovies, parmesan croutons. Basic Main Dishes: RISOTTO (5/5) seasonal vegetable, parmigiano. Excellent! Tasted much like my fav restaurants in Venice. BRANZINO (4/5) rainbow chard, toasted pine nuts, sun raisins, citrus tomato sauce, basil. My Italian hubby raved about this dish. I thought it was just okay. PRIME FILET OF BEEF (3/5) sautéed spinach, barolo. Good, but not their specialty. Desserts: MASCARPONE CHEESECAKE (3/5) served with a tangy sorbet AMEDEI CHOCOLATE CAKE (2/5) amaretto gelato & salted caramel sauce

Yelp
Nice Italian dinner at Scarpetta. Everything was delicious, from the complimentary bread to the pasta and the dessert. The ambiance and service were outstanding. A great choice for a great dinner.

Yelp
One of my favorite places to eat when in Vegas. The service is always impeccable, food is amazing, and views are perfection if you can score a table by the window. The truffle pasta special was incredible. All dishes are simplified perfection. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
The raviolo was amazing!!! Along with the algonoti .. donuts were also top tier. Views of the bellagio was nice .. ambience perfect

Yelp
We loved everything about this restaurant, the decor, view, service, and most importantly, the food. The bread is so good and they make an excellent paper plane cocktail! We had a caprese salad, braised short rib, the duck and foie gras ravioli, cherry pistachio mousse cake and the salted caramel budino. The suggested wine pairing for the ravioli was perfect. The ravioli and budino were outstanding, we plan to have those again when we go back in December.

Yelp
Our first meal in town last Thursday was at Scarpetta. Our friends suggested it and love love this place. After our dinner, I understand why. Cheers to the ambiance. The stunning view of Bellagio's fountain sets the mood. There's no doubt what town you're in. Tasteful decor and friendly, helpful service create a casual elegance that started comfortable and felt downright cozy by meal's end. Even as the place filled up, the room was serene and the view inspiring. Our server felt like a friend. I kept it simple and my reward was the nicest plate of spaghetti with meatballs I've had in ages. Simple dishes urge perfection and this was well on its way with thick spaghetti cooked al dente, substantial and tasty sauce, and meatballs that melted in my mouth. Five diners, five great dishes. We were too stuffed for dessert. Four stars. I'd be happy to dine here again.

Yelp
This Romantic restaurant had great views of the strip, very attentive service and the food was delicious! We did have a little difficulty finding it on the 3rd floor so a tip would be looking for the Essex & Beauty and just keep walking all the way to the back. I had the AGNOLOTTI and my boyfriend had the TAGLIOLINI AGLI SCAMPI. Both dishes were very rich and flavorful. However the Calamari stole the show and you could definitely tell it was fresh & not frozen, both of the sauces were delicious as well. I didn't get a picture of the bread basket but it had a delightful mix of breads from your standard sourdough slice to pieces with meat and cheese rolled into it.

Yelp
I had a reservation and let the hostess know my party was running late, she said it was ok and would hold my table. 10 minutes later my party arrived and informed her to which she responded she had given my table away, even though I had checked in with her twice before and was literally standing by the entrance. She did not even notify me until then. Our waiter was great, the food was ok, lobster risotto was the only dish that was really good as well as the drinks of course.

Yelp
After reading many reviewed, my husband picked this place to celebrate our anniversary/ my bday. He reserved online and one of the options was to send a pic of the guests in order to be greeted in a personalized matter upon our arrival. Well, that did not happen. In addition we were seated between 2 large parties , who were very noise/talkative. We did ask for another table but there was nothing else available. We wanted to seat by the window and have view of Bellagio fountains. The quality of the food and the excellent service compensated for the disappointment. The shrimp scampi was just perfection! The spaghetti with tomato basil was super good as well. Luis, our server, was fantastic. Super attentive and knowledgeable. We felt special when the Panna Cotta dessert and the chocolate truffles were brought to our table.

Yelp
Getting a last-minute reservation was surprisingly easy. The interior is swanky, and the views are stunning. Our waiter was incredibly attentive and kind. The house bread was the star of my meal, perfectly complementing the condiments and sauces. We started with the calamari, which was light, fluffy, and paired wonderfully with the aioli sauce. The Caprese salad was fresh, though I would have preferred the tomatoes sliced thinner instead of in chunks. For our mains, we had the fresh truffle tagliatelle pasta, which was rich and buttery, and the short rib ravioli, which was delicious but was missing a hint of horseradish. The honey-glazed carrots were the perfect finishing touch--cooked to perfection with a great balance of sweetness and saltiness. I'll definitely be returning, it's both affordable and delicious!

Yelp
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Scarpetta before now! This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas! I come here every time I'm in Las Vegas, I have introduced numerous people to this restaurant, and It consistently continues to impress me! Of course, I love their classic dish, spaghetti with tomato and basil. That continues to be the gold standard and I love it. But we branched out and got other pastas this time, and were absolutely impressed. We got some kind of pasta with short ribs in it, and it was so marvelous it might be a new contender for my favorite dish! As always, the breadbasket is also lovely. Having dinner here is such a treat!

Yelp
Amazing food, great service to accommodate our large party of 16, even sliced a birthday cake for us, which was spectacular. We wanted to eat here every night while we were in town, it was definitely one of our favorites!

Yelp
Food was really Italian. Service was excellent. Ambience was classy. Got a window seat. The Bellagio fountain was in full view. The dancing fountain was very very beautiful!!

Yelp
Really pleased with our dinner at Scarpetta! We asked for a table by the window and luckily there was one and we had a beautiful view of the water show at Bellagio. Started with a wonderful bread basket with an assortment of breads and dips. I could've gotten full just off this basket. The yellowtail crudo was lovely and a perfect palate cleanser before the pasta. So many choices, but had to go with their famed spaghetti and tomato sauce and added meatballs. I realized the meatballs were not necessary as the pasta was delicious on it's own. For dessert, we ordered a cheese plate, and it was more than we imagined. Plenty of fruit, grilled bread, nuts and delicious cheese. The blue cheese was our favorite! My only con with this place was they were much to eager to clear the area. My friend finished her ravioli before I was done with my pasta and as I was taking my time with it, every couple minutes they asked if they could clear my plate when I was clearly still working on it.

Went for a 40th bday party, the host at the front was very friendly but the table we sat at was right next to the restroom with little to no view of the strip, the focaccia bread that was served was good and the oysters were too, oysters were served already dressed which added to the flavor. Our server seemed underwhelmed and was not that friendly. Overall we made it a good night but will probably not go back to Scarpetta, would rather suggest going to Beauty and Essex based on their ambiance and service

Yelp
AMAZING Italian food. We had a great view of the Bellagio fountains which made dinner so enjoyable. The caprese to start was a great choice, light and not too filling. So fresh and didn't weigh me down for dinner. The cavatelli was the best pasta I've had hand. The noodles were cooked perfect and the sauce... you could put that on a shoe and I'd eat it. The balance of flavors and the richness of the sauce.. just amazing. I will need to come back to Vegas just to visit Scarpetta again.

Yelp
I found this restaurant in the Cosmopolitan and checked out the Yelp reviews first. These reviews are always right!! We made a reservation for 4 and were seated right away. We had a fantastic table with a view of the Bellagio fountain. The table bread was served hot and was impressive! There's a choice of 5 different types of bread with butter, oil, and eggplant. As a main course, I ordered the Braised Short Rib with King Crab and Mashed potatoes. It was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! Everyone at my table enjoyed their food as well. Yes, the entrees and beverages are expensive but certainly worth it. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!!

Yelp
Our server LUIS provides EXCEPTIONAL service! Highly recommend to ask to have LUIS to be your server. He always goes the EXTRA mile to provide EXCELLENT service! Food was great too. Their Caesar salad is one of the BEST we have EVER had. Has a unique very tasty flavor. Octopus appetizer has a unique flavor and very tasty. Calamari was good but not amazing as read on other reviews. Spaghetti was Too al dente for my taste. Hard to chew extra extra times to be able to eat it. Sauce is very good tho. AMAZING CHOICES: 1) Their Branzino! Full of flavor. Very tender. Cooked perfectly. 2) for dessert, make room for their AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS chocolate cake! Soooo yummy!! Great ambiance with amazing views of water shows in front of Bellagio!

Yelp
We sat at the bar, had a couple of drinks, and shared the braised short ribs with butter poached crab on top, mashed potatoes underneath..the photos showed a much bigger piece of crab than what we got hahaha but the dish was tasty. Ambiance was nice. Bartender was friendly. We're going to have to come back to try other items on the menu!

Yelp
Scarletta - Highly Recommended Scarletta is a must-visit! The food was exceptional, from appetizers to desserts, and the view of the Bellagio Fountains added a magical touch to the experience. Make sure to book your reservation well in advance. If you're hoping for a table with a prime view, note that they require a deposit--$150, if I recall correctly. This spot is a far better choice than Carbone, and my recommendation is based on the overall quality of the food and dining experience, not just the price.

Yelp
Scarpetta is a new family favorite! It's been years since I've visited this restaurant but my last visit was fantastic. From the intimidate dining room experience to the great service and food, everything was stellar! Appetizers- my mom loved the caviar special and oysters. Beet salad was also super refreshing Entrees- I got the special tagliatelle pasta with fresh shaved white truffles!!! So delicious I also recommend the Veal Chop-- I got it "parmesan style" but you can also get it how it's written on the menu Ragu cavetelli-- so incredible and the pasta was perfectly Al dente. Service- our server Ron was awesome. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Had dinner at Scarpetta for my friends birthday. She had made a reservation and requested a table with the view-however had to wait over an hour because the guest did not leave after they paid. They were able to accommodate us to another table with an okay view. Our sever was great. Brought out some delicious basket of breads. All different and stuffed with meats and veggies. Delicious. We order 2 rounds of their espresso martini. Great espresso flavor and not too sweet. As a main course, the birthday girl had a black inc pasta. Very good. I had an octopus primi - it had caramelized onions and potato. Everything came out quick but tasted fresh and not rushed.

Yelp
We were able to get right in here without a reservation which was nice! It's much bigger inside than it looks. We were seated at a cute booth but the restaurant was very expansive. Our server was very nice. I got a lobster pasta and my husband got the short rib entree. Both were good!

Yelp
It was very good. The Salads were amazing. 4 entrees, 3 were excellent, 1 a total miss. Insalata Caesar superb. Dressed correctly with a supreme amount of balance. The Salmon was a bit fishy and under-seasoned. The Short Rib is delicious, the Veal Chop Milanese, a generous portion was cooked to near perfection, and The Duck & Foie Gras Ravioli... was simply sublime. By far the Ravioli was the best I have ever tasted. A real privilege. The Ravioli were so thin, they were translucent. Amazing skill and technique, something I will never forget. Except for the Salmon, it's a 5-star... The service was good.

Yelp
Thought we were stopping in for a happy hour but apparently they only do one during the summer. Just missed it. But we decided to hang out a bit and why the atmosphere. Really nice and laid back restaurant. Service was really good. Ordered the devita cocktail. So good. Deb had the martini. If you like martini this is your drink! We also decided to try the raviolo. One big ravioli. Truffle flavor was so good. However it was a little over cooked as the egg was not too runny and the pasta was a tad chewy. Really cool place to stop in and have a cocktail and the dinner options look amazing too!

Yelp
This was my first visit, and they knocked it out of the park, from appetizers to beverages to main courses it exceeded our expectations. Delicious and relaxing experience.

Yelp
We loved our dining experience here. We sat at the bar on a Thursday, no reservation just walked up, it was Happy Hour to our pleasant surprise. Our bartender Chris was great! Made an outstanding dirty martini. Took us through the menus. The complementary bread basket is over the top! With the broccoli rabe stuffed and salami stuffed bread... mini Strombolis!! Aperol Spritz on HH too! This is our new spot. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu :)
