Dockside 700 Lakefront Grill

Food was pretty tasty, except the options for only chips and very bland cole slaw with a sandwich. I mean, the chips were good, but they don't have a simple fry option. Service was a bit off. Guy seemed kinda new and not sure about the offerings, but tried hard to accommodate. Just young.

Great view. Not packed at all first thing Monday in January. Food did the trick but didn't find anything overly brag-worthy about the sausage-steak sandwich. Worth a visit if you want to take in the view over some causal food.

The only good thing was the view. The food might deserve more than one star but the service was horrible . It took 10 minutes for the server to take our order and then longer than 30 minutes to get our food. The server never even checked in with us to let us know why it was taking so long. Run, run away!

I am a patient person, but we sat and waited 15 minutes after we ordered a beer, and nothing, so we walked. I figured service was slow, but give us our drinks at least. Everyone else who was seated after we were got theirs.

I can't wait to get a perfect cobb salad at Dockside this summer on the lake. The freixenet homemade sangria and happy hour deals are good, or you can have a nicer dinner at the restaurant.

Very nice waitstaff, not a good place to go with children. Bad management as they asked us to leave with our children. We'll never go there again and request nobody else does till they change management.

Terrible host and terrible service, went there for light snacks with my family. Host wanted us to leave when our baby started crying. Definitely not good for family.

I always visit a place at least 2-3 times before making a judgment call. One visit can be misleading at best. I have been here 5 times and had a great experience every time.
