Damn! That was good. The service is a little slow so occupy yourself, the food is worth it and they’re working hard. I had the Hobo breakfast scramble with smoked sausage. Eggs, hash browns, onions, bell peppers, and cheese with English muffins and apple jelly. I can’t wait to try lunch next week. Stay tuned for that review.

Food is incredible. The clam chowder is amazing. Had the Friday special prime rib and was delicious and had two meals! Their hours are great too. Best French dressing I’ve ever had. Service top notch!!!

Heard about their pies from other passengers on our cruise! Best strawberry rhubarb pie I've had in a long time! My husband had their apple pie. LOVED the crust. Would love to have the recipe. I was so glad we stopped in!

If ever in Craig, AK, you've got to stop in for a meal or just a shake. Great place for a small town.

Very nice little restaurant! Had a delicious breakfast of reindeer sausage, hash browns, and toast in a nice cabin-like environment. I especially enjoyed all the art from a local artist on the wall. When I someday return, I'll be sure to stop by again. :)

A great spot in downtown Craig! A no-frills, easy breezy spot that serves a great breakfast. We went on a Wednesday morning and the place was packed at 10am! They do a great job and everyone is so nice. Get a pancake!

Yelp
One of the best breakfast places on the island! I got a classic breakfast and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and service was fast! Highly recommend stopping at this place if you want a delicious breakfast meal!

Yelp
We're in town for the week and staying at the nearby Sunnahae Hotel, so I strolled down to the Dockside Cafe for breakfast. Cute little place, local artwork for sale on the walls with seating for maybe 20, and they were busy (always good to see), so I sat at the counter (which I prefer: much easier to have a chat with the staff from there). I ordered the standard breakfast: two eggs over easy, home fries, bacon and whole wheat toast with a small orange juice, and it came out promptly. Wow, the bacon! Just the way I like it, medium-thick and well done with just enough fat on the edges. It's increasingly hard to find good bacon, and the Dockside has it. The home fries, eggs and toast were very good too, but the bacon stole the show for me. Staff are friendly and efficient, and though I saw no masks in evidence I did note hand sanitizer available. I'm fully vaxxed and wore my mask when not eating, so I felt reasonably comfortable. When you're on POW Island and you're hungry, stop by the Dockside Cafe in Craig and get the bacon, and leave a tip for Chef Matt and the staff.

Yelp
This is my favorite place to eat when I'm on the island. There is no better way to start your day then coming here for a great breakfast. I've been getting the Hamburger Steak and it very filling. I just also want to mention that the Toast is very good.

Yelp
This classic diner on Prince of Wales Island is fantastic! Since living temporarily on the island, I have been here twice and have been impressed each time. My first experience I was with a group of 10-12, and the service was good and dinner/dessert was great! This time around, I went with a friend for breakfast. I couldn't decide between the Eggs Benedict or the Country Benedict. I told the waitress to surprise me. To my delight, within 10 minutes she brought out one serving each, alongside some delicious hash browns. Both were excellent! Also, if you're feeling adventurous, Dockside serves reindeer sausage! (It's good).

Yelp
By far the best meal on Prince of Wales island. I had a halibut wrap with a cup of navy bean soup that was delicious. The pie case was right next to me so 1/2 wrap went home to save room for peach pie which was really good. Friendly service but a little slow, cozy wood cabin feel. There is no bar service so take out and get beer across street. We needed hot tea on a drizzling day and sat with the locals.

Yelp
I ordered a 12oz new York steak. They gave me a ribeye and it wasn't even good. The steak was extremely salty. Music was ok
