The pancakes where so light and moist(while not being wet). The fritters were nice but the crust of the sourdough made it hard to enjoy. There was a queue there and we had to wait about 10mins to be seated. It's a small space with 6-7 tables sitting 2-3 per table and it found that quite tight and compact, and did hinder my experience a bit as I felt the need to hurry my food as there were people just standing at the entrance waiting to be seated. Staff were very polite and friendly, foid also did not take long to be brought.

Great little café here. They serve awesome food, pastries, lunch and coffee as well. Reasonable prices. Friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommended if you’re around!

My wife and I just spent 2.5 days in the County Clare region near the cliffs of Moher. On the recommendation of our accommodations host, we decided to try Dodi. Be advised that depending on the time of day there may be a bit of a wait. There’s but a handful of tables, but usually the wait wasn’t more than 10-15 minutes as people move in and out pretty quickly. First impressions were that the staff were all super nice and friendly, and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. As soon as you’re seated they bring some menus offer you a craft of water and say they’ll be back to take your order, and surely they do. My wife and I got the eggs over greens and added the bacon, and the eggs were perfectly poached, and the bacon was so tender but at the same time crispy and so good. I love Irish bacon! We also ordered lattes and cappuccinos and we must say they make the best we’ve had in Ireland thus far. We’re originally from Seattle, so that’s high marks!! Now, in my opinion the star of the show was the scone with butter and raspberry jam! I think I could seriously live off of them! They are perfectly crumbly and soft, and the butter is amazing, paired with locally crafted raspberry jam. Service and food, everything was top notch and so good; that we repeated it the NEXT day! My only small gripe is… it’s a sauna in there. Anyway, if you’re in town, do yourself the favor and go to Dodi, maybe even go back the next day!

Best breakfast in Lahinch! Super healthy menu with generous portions of delicious food. The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful and the cafe itself is small enough which makes it intimate but not too loud. Great for chatting to locals too! My only complaint would be that the pancakes were a little bit too doughy, (almost muffin-like) which wasn’t for me but maybe is for others. The rest of the food and coffee was spot on though. Thanks guys!

Great stop on our trip around the Wild Atlantic Way. The food was amazing. Poached eggs on sourdough and blueberry compote pancakes. It was all so good we took a bag full of baked goods with us for snacks down the road!!! The staff were very welcoming and managed the mix of tourists and locals wonderfully.

We absolutely loved Dodi Café in Lahinch — so much so, we drove back from where we were staying so we could go again the next morning for breakfast. It’s a small spot, and you could see that it was beloved by locals and visitors alike. First day we got a table straight away, second day we had to wait. It was busy both days, but if you have to wait for a table, do it - you won’t regret it. If you like Shakshuka - you will love this one, deep flavour, vibrant, warming and expertly spiced, clearly made with skill, authenticity and passion. The pancakes were light yet indulgent, the bacon was divine, I didn’t need lunch after this, but was so glad I got it. Everything that everyone ordered across the table they were glad to have ordered. Everyone in our group enjoyed their coffees, there were some coffee snobs among us - but we loved it so much we all got take-away coffees for the road. From the moment we walked in, the floor staff were attentive, friendly, professional, and upbeat, they knew we were Australian right away (some people ask us if we are from New Zealand), and their smiles and service genuinely lifted the whole experience. It is not just me, the ratings across the sites I have checked are all strong, it is what made us go there in the first place. From my perspective, the buzz is well justified. Lahinch is a charming coastal village, it was windy and rainy on the beach the day we were there. There are some famous coastal walks nearby, and you’re close to the Cliffs of Moher and Burren. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so I would say it is important to visit Lahinch to go to Dodi before attempting any regional adventure. The energy of the staff is contagiously positive, the skill in the kitchen delivers in every plate, and the baristas know their game. I grabbed a couple of small gifts from their little craft shop near the front counter, which were well received. The whole thing at Dodi is close to perfect. Whether you’re hanging out in Lahinch or making a pit-stop on your West Clare adventure, I am confident in saying that even if you need to wait for a table, the food and vibes will be absolutely worth it. Dodi Café has a good sense of what it is does and what it offers. It is a cosy café that seats around 20 or so and they manage the morning queues and rushes with a smile.

Absolute gem of a cafe nestled in the cozy coastal town of Lahinch. The food exceeded our expectations. Eggs on the greens and their pancakes are top notch. The cafe doesn't compromise on quality ingredients. The interior space is a bit tight for larger groups 4+ but the staff is attentive and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Lahinch or on the way to the Cliffs of Moher.

Very good breakfast/lunch/coffee place. Great coffee, delicious food. Small but worth the wait for a table.

Stopped by this place for brunch, was pleasantly surprised, considering we correctly have several dietary restrictions. We had the Sweet potato fritter, avocado bacon toast, the fresh orange juice, a tea, and a latte. All of the dishes were fantastic, especially the crispy bacon (wish i had more!) and the espresso in the latte had a bitter chocolate flavor which was lovely. Hope to visit again soon.

Freshly squeezed orange juice and a black pudding sausage roll? Yes please!! I inhaled this delicious morning tea meal, so, sorry no photos.

Wonderful spot, great food and nicer people! Cappuccino was one of the best I've ever had, eggs on the green was delicious. Baked good look incredibly tempting, but managed to stay away;)

Friendly Staff. Fresh and delicious food. Coffee was good and strong. Didn't have room for their pastries but they looked great. I highly recommend this place.

Super cute little spot on a strip filled with other restaurants and shops! Great coffee and fresh ingredients to help us feel up for our trip to the Cliffs of Moher. Service was quick and friendly, would definitely recommend!!

Was delicious! Got the eggs on green with chorizo + bacon. Super good, bacon and chorizo was unlike anything I've had unless on a farm. Great! Wife got the pancake stack with yogurt and fruit. Pancakes were fluffy. Loved it. Nice people and great food

Finding really good food even breakfast can be difficult for judgmental Americans but this place was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. Get there early though. It gets crowded quickly.

Amazing breakfasts (be sure to try the blueberry pancakes after a nice walk on the beach) and pastries. All fresh. Best brownies in the world. Totally addictive.

I was visiting with family and stopped in for breakfast. Very cute, modern place. Can get busy and may be better suited to smaller parties. They were able to accommodate our party of six after a small wait - no big deal. I had the eggs on greens which were very good. My sister in law loved the sweet potato hash, which she said was slightly spicy. Everyone was happy with their breakfast baps and shakshuka. My brother in law didn't love his pancakes, but he's a really picky eater. Service was excellent and super friendly! It's a nice change of pace from the other restaurants in town.

This place was absolutely excellent. Stopped in for some breakfast and ended up finding the best breakfast of the trip. The employees here were all super nice too.

Great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Outstanding coffee, espresso, tea, eggs, pancakes. Very healthy with a Mediterranean twist. Outstanding, delicious selections in a quaint upbeat beachy venue. Get there early as space can be limited and you'll thank yourself. Cant wait to go back.

Great small breakfast/brunch spot, that has great coffee too. It has a Mediterranean influence, so we got the Shakshuka, delicious. Also had eggs with sweet potato hash, delicious as well. 5 stars to the service too, attentive people, friendly atmosphere, and will be back when I'm in Lahinch. Awesome and highly recommend.
