My first time is the Dog House and I can tell you I will definitely be back. I ordered the foot-long and some french fries and my friends order Frito pies. The staff is extremely friendly. The food is absolutely good. The hotdog comes fried. They toast the buns the french fries are perfectly cooked by the time I walked back to work the fries were still crisp no soggy ones at al. The Frito pies have a small little kick in it, so delicious. They put a whole hamburger inside the Frito pie when you order it. I will definitely will be back. Good job Doghouse.

I really wanted to love the food. Big BB fan and although my first impression of the place was off-putting I decided to roll the dice and give it a try anyway. The dog quality. Wasn't very impressive, the onions were huge and the chili was on the jalapeno spicy side and very runny. Not like a good chili or you could actually see the chunky ground beef. I didn't enjoy it. And I really do enjoy a good hot dog. Especially an NYC Sabrett, Vienna Beef franks from Chicago or other dogs like a Sahlen or a Boars Head natural casing hotdogs that are top notch. This however was severely lacking. Tasted very low quality. The burger quality. Not very good. Not awful. But not very good. They also slathered a bunch of mustard and mayonnaise on my burger when I clearly told them not to add that. At least they held the lettuce and tomato. The fries. I got cheese fries. The fries were definitely undercooked. The cheese sauce wasn't a very high quality. It had this super bright yellow to it, the cheap stuff cheese sauce as I've learned to call it. Not the good high quality stuff many chain places use. Value I got for my money? Average. It wasn't super expensive but it wasn't cheap either. Something I'd expect from a poorly run food truck down some deserted road in middle America. Again I was really hoping to like the place since I'm a huge BB fan. I know this place has been around for a long time and I heard People voted them one of the best dogs in America so I was really expecting more. What I don't want to do is give a review through rose colored glasses and be awestruck with fanaticism and blindly give a great undeserving rating to subpar food. Judging by most reviewers and actually sampling the quality of the food I would have to say that that's exactly what's happening for most reviewers. Or it's quite possible that locals really don't know what good food is. Even if the food was severely lacking before the show one would hope that the owners would have upped their game after the show to impress the critics. But maybe they figured that's the necessary. Perhaps not. Overall from a coast to coast well traveled seasoned eaters perspective I was severely disappointed. However your results may differ. Especially if your taste buds are wearing rose colored glasses imagining Walt & Jesse enjoying a chili dog right alongside you.

I am visiting Albuquerque from out of state and this was one of the stops shown in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul that I wanted to see in person. I was there during the day so I didn’t get to see the sign lit up, but that’s okay. I dined in, the lady was very friendly. I got a cheeseburger with onions. It had pickles, tomatoes and I think maybe mustard and mayo. Very good burger. Overall it was a cute place. Not a ton of seating inside but pretty intimate, good experience. Lots of options. Also it was clean. I sat at the counter so I didn’t have to wait for a table or anything.

Came here because of BB and BCS, but was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. Get the foot long chile cheese dog with onions, will not be disappointed. The corn dog and onion rings were also phenomenal. Good little dive. There’s limited seating, and the prices are a bit high, but good food nonetheless.

This place has it's own unique feel. To me it's reminiscent of a local mom and pop place called, "Hot Dog Junction" where I grew up. Dog House Drive In's menu is simple enough to not be complicated, but varied enough to be interesting. They can put together so many dishes without having to keep 100 items stocked. Plus, people are probably going there to get either a chili dog or fruit pie, amirite? Those are the only two I've tried, but they do them perfectly.

Nothing fancy here just good old style hot dogs. THAT and this place was a regular on breaking bad. My son got a chili dog here and said they're just a bit better than Sonic... But he loves Sonic. If you're a hot dog nut, you'll like this place.

Always a good experience when I come into town and get the best chili cheese dog I’ve ever had. The service was excellent and quick with getting the food out when my order was placed. Would recommend to anyone who wants great food at a great price. For cheap price as McDonald’s you can food that taste 100x better. Thank you Dog House and your staff.

Still the best chilidog in the city!!! Countless local awards and never a disappointment. The Dog House has been a go to for me for a very very long time. My mom took me there when I was like 7 or 8 and I haven't stopped going
