On the Grid : Dogma for Pets

"One of three locations in Baltimore, Dogma for Pets in Brewers Hill carries quality pet food with an extensive selection of organic toys, accessories, and treats. They have a full grooming service as well as self-service washing stations (which they clean up afterwards!). Their educated and friendly staff provides excellent customer service, and if you're looking to socialize more, they host "Yappy Hours" where owners and their dogs can mingle. If you care about going the extra mile for your pet, Dogma for Pets will surely help you get there. Photo credit: Maura Asteria" - Limonata Creative

Everyone is so nice and accommodating. They all treat Lola so well and I love that I can peak on her during the day via the cameras. Lola always seems to have a great time there and is now excited to get out of the car in the mornings and see all of her friends.

I am so grateful we found Dogtopia Canton. I feel extremely confident that my dog will be well looked after and cared for when I drop him off for daycare and boarding. I deeply appreciate the enthusiasm and compassion the staff demonstrates towards the animals. I can always count on my dog to be utterly exhausted after a day at daycare or boarding. Thanks for loving this little guy!

I never thought of taking my pup to doggy daycare but I wanted my little one as socialized as possible. I couldn't do it alone (I dont go out much). I think I found the perfect spot on the 1st try. This spot is so attentive, loving, and very accommodating. Despite my life chaos, they accommodate and treat her so sweet. What mommy doesn't appreciate the folks that treat their babies like their own. I've had to switch times and days on multiple occasions and they didn't blink an eye and just adjusted her days. That means so much to me due to my schedule. Emergency boarding? No problem and Penny Lane came back super happy (and exhausted which is a plus). She's made friends both fur and human friends. When I take her there she acts like the kid you drop off to school that's like, "love ya, here's your kiss but BYE". My fur kid is super happy everytime and I couldn't suggest this place more. Thanks to everyone there. No matter who I speak to, they know exactly who she is and can tell me how her day has been.

Eli has enjoyed the pleasure of having playtime at Dogtopia in Canton since I’ve had him. He’s now 7. & being a Baltimore transplant, i’ve always trusted Eli with the staff of Canton first before I board him anywhere. Thanks ladies for being great dog lovers!

Google
My dog is obsessed with going to Dogtopia. The people who work there seem to really love the dogs and they always tell me specific things about her day (who she played with, etc) and act excited to see her. Appointment requests are approved quickly. If my dog is sick it’s really easy to pause her membership.

Such a great daycare experience here with my Great Dane. When I first started bringing him, he pulled me away from the building due to separation anxiety and was terrified to go inside. After a few weeks of regular visits, the staff had worked with him so much that he pulled me TO the door for the remainder of time using their services. We experienced the sweetest staff and really appreciated having Dogtopia so close to where we lived at the time. We would definitely go back if we are in Baltimore again.

Our Black Lab Puppy, had his first Meet and Greet on the 11th of December. I was able to view him on the webcams. He was having a ball with all the other dogs. Bruno was scared to be around other dogs and the barking. Now he hears neighborhood dogs bar and is not scared. He also approaches other dogs when he goes for a walk, where before he use to cower by me feet until we passed the other dog. The personnel there were friendly when they picked him up and dropped him off at the front of the building due to COVID restrictions. Bruno seemed happy to be with other dogs once he was in the Dogtopia dog environment. We signed Bruno up for 5 more visits and will see about getting more visits for him as we monitor his progress and demeanor once he gets home from every visit. First Meet and Greet session was very good and seemed to be a lot calmer at home for the next few days. We don't know about other Dogtopia sites but we would definitely recommend Dogtopia of Canton.

Google
Staff is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and compassionate. I picked Dogtopia as they have highly trained staff to look after the pets. I feel confident my dog is safe at all times while still being allowed to socialize, have fun, and build confidence around other dogs. My dog, Charlie, who is often glued to my side, happily greets and goes with the staff members without looking back when I drop her off for daycare. My dog loves it there and it’s very telling! Thank you all so much for the work that you do! It shows with how happy pets are to come to you guys! Keep up the amazing work! Xoxo Charlie 🐾

Yelp
I absolutely love Dogtopia and would recommend their services. They give you one complementary doggy daycare day. Right off the bat when I went to drop off my puppy, the two women behind the counter were extremely nice. They went over everything to expect. I didn't realize I had to bring my own food. They do have snacks and meals for purchase though, such as homemade turkey meatballs, and a chicken protein bowl. The best part is that you can watch your dog live on their WebCam. This definitely gave me a lot of peace of mind to be able to see how my pup was doing and interacting with the other dogs. From 12 PM to 2 PM, the cameras are off for nap time. When I went to pick him up, they gave me a little report card with his mood, the new dog friends he made, and a brief overview on how he did. I definitely think that this is good for dog socialization. Regarding the price, to board your dog it's $69 a night. They also have a weekly enrollment daycare plan: 1-day enrollment: $51/week 2-day enrollment: $92/week 3-day enrollment: $129/week Unlimited enrollment: $184/week

Yelp
We have been using this location for the past five years. Our corgi loves it here. The staff are fantastic, and the hours are very reasonable. The pricing structure is too complicated for me to explain here, but they are pretty flexible about adjusting to your needs. They have recently changed their system to involve a reservation system due to high demand, but honestly we have never had an issue getting our dog in on a day that we needed him to. They will give your dog a meal if you bring it with your dog. One note, it's best to remove your dogs collar before dropping off, to minimize the risk that they will forget to give you the collar back at pick up. In fact I think under the new system they request this specifically since Covid started.

Yelp
Our dog loves it here! It's nice that you are able to see your dog on their live stream

Yelp
We have been bringing our dogs to Dogtopia off and on for a few months, primarily for boarding. Before allowing your dogs to attend daycare or boarding, it is essential that they go through an on boarding process to test temperament, etc. I appreciate that they do this. However, aside from that, I have several issues. In order to utilize Dogtopia's grooming services, they must be at daycare for the day or boarded. Okay, no issue. However, on several occasions, they "forgot" or would leave their dewclaws untouched. Minor if it happens only once, but a common occurrence. When boarding, our dogs ALWAYS - and I mean always - return home smelling like urine. Of course the place is entirely indoors and it's concrete, they do mop periodically, but I don't recommend paying for grooming (like a bath) when boarding or attending daycare here - because they will return home with a new pee stench. It also isn't a great feeling knowing they're in small kennels at night. It stinks that I provided a dog bowl for ours while we boarded her and they never returned the bowl. With little things like that... It just seems there's too many moving parts for this place to keep up with demand, which brings me to: Lastly, now they're not allowing dogs to board unless you have a "membership" - aka weekly scheduled services. This means unless you want to cough up the dough for weekly daycare, etc., you have to look elsewhere for boarding. It just seems like a money grab to me rather than offer a genuinely desired service for people who need it. That's okay though - Dogwood Acres in Davidsonville is a lovely place not far from Dogtopia with pet amenities - not plastic crates and concrete - for your loved pooches. They offer higher quality kennels, actual one:one time with your pups, cameras, etc. Dogtopia is a neat place if you're just doing daycare. They return very tired pups to you - but aside from that, I don't recommend boarding or grooming services at all.

Yelp
This is a great place for your dogs to run around and hang out when it's cold or too hot outside. They also do boarding and grooming services. Everyone here is super nice and I've always been happy to drop off my dogs. The only reason I stopped going is they changed their drop off policy. Now you have to either reserve the night before with the app or call the same day and hope they have room. I don't always know in advance that I'm going to need to drop off the dogs, and when I call it is always "at capacity." This is kind of funny because it was never a problem when I tried to drop them off in the mornings, so I'm glad to see that their business has exploded in the past month. So if it still worked out for me, I would be dropping my dogs off here regularly, but at least there are plenty of professional dog walkers in Baltimore.

Yelp
My dog Teddy went to Dogtopia Canton for almost two years and we were SO heartbroken when we moved away. Madeline and the staff at Dogtopia Canton are SO caring and really have your fur baby's best interest at heart. He always came back from camp TIRED and HAPPY, which is the best puppy combo there is. Teddy LOVED his time at Dogtopia and they always did their best to let him know what a special boy he is. We'll be back to visit!

Yelp
Took my new puppy there for a meet and greet. When I picked her up I was told she acquired some scratches on her butt. Didn't notice until I got home the extent of the injuries. Poor puppy didn't want to be touched in the groin area when I tried to cleanse her wounds. She was traumatized for a few days. I felt Dogtopia was negligent and should not have allowed the roughness to continue as long it did. She should have been better supervised. I get dogs play rough, but it should also be recognized when a dog is in distress and my puppy certainly was.

Yelp
We just started using Dogtopia as my fiance and I will be traveling across the country for a few days soon and we needed a great place to board our puppy, Charlie. After several recommendations from friends, we opted to check out Dogtopia and called to schedule a visit/consult. When we arrived, the staff were so friendly and patient as we bombarded them with questions and Charlie, who is often very distrusting of humans she doesn't know, immediately took to them. They took her upstairs and let her play with the group of dogs and, while shy, she did come out of her shell a little bit in the 15 minutes we were there and she had some fun socializing with other pups that we got to watch on the webcams in the lobby. Her first day of daycare she came home with a report card detailing her day and what she did, who she was friends with, whether she explored, etc. and a fun little kerchief she can wear around her neck, which was all a nice little surprise at the end of the first day for two stressed and nervous parents. Subsequent visits have been great and the staff already know Charlie by sight and know who we are without us having to even tell them who we are there to pick up. I tend to have the webcast streaming all day and the rooms are always very clean and while the dogs do urinate and poop on the rubber mats, the messes are always cleaned up immediately by the attentive staff. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for affordable boarding for your beloved furbaby! Charlie has a blast there! I also want to call BS on Jenifer F's review as I think she's full of it. She's obviously never actually been to Dogtopia in her life and just delights in being one of those "oh, I'm a yelper" yelpers ... GTFO Jenifer, take your aggression out on your poor family who probably cannot stand you.

Yelp
They really care about your pet. After only a couple of days the girls already knew my dog's name. I love that I can watch her all day. They love on her and she is exhausted when she comes home!!! To others our dogs are just pets, to us they are family. You can rest assured and trust that your dog will be taken care of. She was a rescue and was new to getting socialized, they eased her in so that she wasn't overwhelmed. Can not say enough!

Yelp
We were traveling and had intended for sitter to care for our Bella ... but they backed out the morning of our departure. So, we got her Rescue Remedy to help her make the trip and hit the road for a 5-hour drive. She did pretty well, I must say, but since she is a digger, she was filthy dirty when we hit the road. My job, per my wife, was to find a groomer while she attended a conference ... so I started looking. I found a couple in the Canton neighborhood and actually had decided on another one when an overnight snow hit. The morning she needed her bath, the phone at the other place was never answered and the task fell to Dogtopia. They worked her in relatively fast and didn't take as long as our hometown groomer when it is bath only time. They called when she was nearly ready so I could start heading that way. When I went to pick her up, they brought her up and she was nice and dry and smelled like she had never learned how to dig in our flowerbeds! The front desk person loved on her, as did the person who brought her up and she seemed to be a very happy camper. Service was pleasant and prices reasonable. Would choose them again.

Yelp
A couple of years ago I first moved back to Baltimore and was in desperate need of finding a doggy daycare and tried a bunch of places. Back in Massachusetts I took my Dobe to what I thought was the best daycare in the world and was devastated that I had to find a new place. I ended up at Dogtopia and I LOVE it!!! They are my new favorite place to take my pupper! The staff is top-notch and the manager (Madeline) is so amazing!!! Antoinette is a superstar!!! My doggo comes home blissfully exhausted! Plus, the staff photographer is so talented. They take portraits for various holidays and they never cease to amaze!

Yelp
I did not end up boarding my dog here, but we came in for a pre-boarding evaluation. The people were very friendly and the evaluation took about 15 minutes (I couldn't go upstairs to watch because I needed to finish paperwork first). Apparently for the evaluation they take your dog into the play area to evaluate his temperament and see how it acts with other dogs in an open space. My dog passed. He has been boarded before and goes to the dog park all the time so I knew he would be fine. After I finished filling the paperwork, I asked to go upstairs and see the facilities. This place is essentially two huge open rooms lined with wire dog crates, each with about 25-30 dogs loose in each room. Our dog (a five year old husky who grew out of his high-energy phase long ago) is never crated, so this was my first concern. He's fine boarding in kennels, but I know places we have taken him before don't use small house crates like these. Maybe that's fine for some dogs but not ours. My second concern was that the room where he would be kept (same room lined with crates) was entirely too small for 35 large-breed dogs to be kept in together - this is the number she gave me when I asked how many dogs they boarded overnight. I have no idea how one or even two people could intervene in a fight if it was to break out with that many big dogs in such a small area. It seemed completely unsafe. Finally, this room had all cement flooring; not even a square foot of turf to poop on. There were pee spots all over the floor when I looked in and I can only imagine how messy it gets when it's at full capacity. Overall I decided it was in my dogs best interest to not stay here and I'm honestly not sure how this place has so many positive reviews. I know they're probably doing their best with what they have but this place is scary, especially if you have a low energy, shy, or old dog.

Yelp
The best dog daycare in Baltimore. I trust the staff members wholeheartedly which I cannot say for other dog boarding and daycare facilities in the city. Highly recommend! My dog can hardly wait to get out of the car when we pull up.
google avatar

Kelly D.

Yelp
I cannot say enough good things about Dogtopia! My puppy goes 2-3 times a week and is so worn out at the end of each day, it makes every penny spent worth it. The staff at Dogtopia also treat him like he was their own pet. I love being able to watch him on the cameras and am confident every time he goes, he will have a good time! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Emma W.

Yelp
They are great with my little 30 pound dog! He comes home pooped from the romper room and gets excited every time we pass dog care. The staff members take the time to learn your dog's name and are always very friendly and helpful. (Minor) Cons If your dog is in the process of becoming potty trained, you might not want to take them until they haven't had accidents for a while... since they can go wherever they want. We had some setbacks and had to take a break from daycare for a short while. The webcam has a lot of room for improvement.. it's impossible to keep track of your little guy as it pauses frequently

Yelp
AWFUL! I'm only rating it with a star Bc I have to in order to make a post. My family just recently relocated back to the Baltimore area & we are in the market for doggie daycare. We came into Dogtopia and toured the facility and talked with the front desk employee. Everything appeared to be what we are looking for (minus they have no outdoor area or private sleeping areas...) Fast forward to today when we took our dog in for the evaluation... They took our boy into an empty room with an employee and crated him. He was so afraid that he went potty all over the floor & ate his leash. So they failed him. He went to daycare on a regular basis before, and we have NEVER had this experience. They didn't put him with any other dogs, only a big empty room and shoved him straight into a crate. Oh, and we previously told them that he likes to break out of wire crates so they already knew he's not a fan of them. Can you blame the poor guy for being so afraid?! Upon being very upset & calling several other daycare places in the area, (and his former daycare in Texas) not one of them evaluates like this. They socialize him with other dogs gradually, but immediately. Be sure to do your research & find out EXACTLY how they will handle your pooch. We obviously will not be bringing ours here.

Yelp
I was very excited to send my dog to Dogtopia for doggy daycare. He loves other dogs and is super well behaved so I thought he would have a great time socializing. When I picked up my dog was was very upset with the condition that my dog was in. He was so dirty that I had to bathe him right away when I got home. He also was yelping in pain when I pet him under his neck. I then realized that all under his neck was completely covered in scratches and bite marks. It has been a week now and I am still putting Neosporin on and trying to get the scars to heal. I understand that dogs get scratches from daycare but what happened to my dog was unacceptable. I was checking the cameras throughout the day and even had to call Dogtopia to check on him because I constantly saw dogs on top of him. The girl that was working had so much that she had to clean up throughout the day that it took her way too long to intervene when there was dogs on top of my dog. If your dog loves to play, but will not fight back and defend themselves I would recommend that you do not take your dog here. The manager did respond to me and she did assure me that she would look into what happened. I hope that she did and that no one has to pick up there dog feeling as bad as I did.

Yelp
Love the franchising concept! Love the location! Truly love the helpful staff!! I especially love the webcam when my dog is in the playroom! Such a relief knowing I can happily and safely board my :) wiggling pup when I'm required out of town :) Nice job and thank you, Dogtopia!!
google avatar

Yelp
My puppy loves it here and the staff always greets us with a smile at the beginning and end of the day-- whether it be 7am or 7pm. It doesn't hurt that they offer spa services including baths, etc. :)

Yelp
I cannot say enough about how great Dogtopia of Canton is! My Rottweiler Aspen has been attending daycare here for about two years and we both love it! The facility is clean and the staff are friendly. The manager is wonderful and Aspen LOVES it. Aspen always comes home tired and happy.
google avatar

Katie K.

Yelp
I have used Dogtopia several times, however my dog doesn't quiet fit in there. He is usually a little stinky when he comes back and anxious for days. The free play is great for some dogs but not for all. Otherwise, they are friendly and easy to work with. On the pricey side, but if your dogs like open play they'll will fit right in.
google avatar

Suzee Q.

Yelp
I got a Groupon and called to make an appointment for an evaluation before our dog could be boarded here or accepted into daycare. We were told that there's a $15 evaluation fee! Well, she was deemed acceptable after her evaluation visit, the fee was not mentioned, and we signed her up for more daycare. She's boarded here a couple times. I think it's an okay facility. I wish there was ACTUAL green space for the dogs. Our girl has problems getting used to the fact that she eliminates NOT outside whenever she's at daycare. I do very much like their dog cams!!!

Elizabeth J.

Yelp
We have been sending our puppy to Dogtopia for a few months now. My puppy loves going everyday. She gets a lot of interactions and exercise and comes home happy. All of the people I have interacted with are very professional and caring. Their App is so convenient for arranging appointments and for curbside pick up during Covid. I highly recommend the team at Dogtopia in Canton!

Yelp
Love this place! We bring our dog Allie here at least once a week and we have boarded here here many times. On our way in in the AM, Allie always starts to whine as soon as we pass Southern Provisions up the street. She knows where she's going! The staff is absolutely wonderful, they always greet Allie when she walks/runs through the door, and it's so clear how much she loves them! I always have peace of mind when she's at Dogtopia knowing that she's having a great time playing with her friends, eating and getting a good night's sleep when we are away. Recently, we had to drop her off early and the staff was so accommodating and let us drop her off before they opened so we could stay on schedule with our trip. One morning, Allie rolled in something that smelled terrible, and so I asked the staff if they could give her a bath that day, and they did! You can't get that type of service at a Petsmart! My husband, myself and Allie love Dogtopia and we can't help but rave about it every chance we get! Thank you Dogtopia for giving us peace of mind when Allie is there! You are the best!
google avatar

Yelp
Great place and love that your first day care is free if you adopted your dog! Also love that you don't have to call ahead. Friendly staff and my dog gets excited when I mention going there. Grooming costs are average but they do a good job.

Danielle W.

Yelp
Teddy LOVES Dogtopia! He always has so much fun and comes back a tired pup (which is a great thing since he has a massive amount of energy). I love the fact that I can access the Dogtopia playroom camera from my phone and watch Teddy have a blast. The staff is very knowledgable and I know that Teddy is being well cared for while I'm at work.

Yelp
Dogtopia and the manager Becky, are great to work with. The new facility is wonderful; its spacious, clean and colorful!

Yelp
I can never say enough good things about your services. I love the attention that's paid to the dogs -- the fact that the staff seems to know and love each dog, that they know individual dog's friends and play styles, and they're always friendly and welcoming.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
I like knowing that my dog is in good hands, and is in the care of people who love what they do. My dog always has a great time at Dogtopia, I never have to worry about a thing when I drop him off for a quick day care visit or an overnight boarding.
google avatar

Lindsay L.

Yelp
I took my Siberian Husky to two other daycare's before I found Dogtopia. So glad I found out about this place because Dogtopia makes the other 2 look shabby and ill- prepared. The staff are very friendly, helpful and are always with the dogs in the play area. The lobby is clean and smells good. Crates are available for doggy time- outs and nap time which I think is important for dogs who may need a break. Pricing is similar to the other day cares and is affordable. The only thing I do not like is the staff are not there for 24 hours, so if you board your dog, they are alone in the crate at night. This doesn't affect me taking him to daycare, I just wouldn't board there. I love checking in on my Siberian on the doggy cam. I feel confident that he is in good hands while there and comes home exhausted!

Brenda S.

Yelp
Bella loves Dogtopia. She has stayed there twice while we were on vacation and did great. Thank you all so much for taking care of my doggy daughter.

Johanna B.

Yelp
This is the best place ever. They are so well run and know each and every dog. They take the health of your dog into consideration for everything they do. Honestly, would never do doggie daycare or boarding anywhere else. They put your mind at ease.
google avatar

Kurt B.

Yelp
My dog loves this place. Plus if anything happens to my dog when I'm away they take the dog to my vet at charm city . I just pay the boarding cost and vet bill.

Yelp
They keep the place very clean. The first floor has a small store with dog food/toys. I noticed their price is more reasonable than Dogma on Conkling street. I went in for my dog's ear cleaning and I did not like the fact that they do not let me come watch the service on the second floor. I waited for about 10 minutes downstairs hearing a lot of dogs barking including mine upstairs. My dog came back very agitated and they explained they couldn't perform ear cleaning because they are not "professional groomers." I would have appreciated if they made that clear before the service. I will go back to Dogma even though it seems a bit pricer.

Yelp
Let me start by saying this review is long overdue!! I have been taking my puppy Beans to Dogtopia of Canton for about 6 months now and I cannot say enough positive things about them! Staff- Extremely friendly and professional. They take the time to get to know you and your dog. Stephanie, Nicole, Gaby, and Christie are amazing. They provide "report cards" on how your dog was feeling that day, and who they played with. I have a dog that we fondly refer to as a bubble boy (always into something bad) and they pay close attention to him and update me as needed! There are always room attendants so you know your dog is in good hands. Facility- always clean and brightly lit. The web cam could use some help, often down and you can't always see dogs playing. Beans LOVES to go to daycare and often barks at the car door in the morning- telling me to hurry up! He comes home happy and tired. I have no reservations about leaving him there during the day or overnight as I know they treat him and love him as much as I do. Best. Place. Ever

Yelp
Both of my dogs love it here. They both cannot wait to get out of the car. The staff is amazing. I would recommend to anyone in the area.

Yelp
Our energetic, almost 10 month old boxer has been a regular at Dogtopia for the last 2 1/2 months. During these hot summer days, he tires quickly in the sun, so it's nice to be able to drop him off once or twice a week to get some playtime and exercise. He perks up every morning when I asked him if he wants to go to "daycare". He cannot wait to get inside when we arrive and when I pick him up at the end of the day, I always get a quick summary of how he did and who he played with; best of all he comes home super sleepy after a long day with his friends. I was very happy with his initial "evaluation" to ensure he got along with the other dogs. The staff knows all the dogs very well and they surprise me every time to know our dog's first and last name. I love looking for him on the webcam and I'm reassured he's having a good day and is in good hands with the friendly and caring staff.

Michelle H.

Yelp
Everyone who I have spoken to at Dogtopia has been very friendly and helpful. I feel they truly have my dog's best interest at heart and genuinely care for the dogs that stay there!

Yelp
We have been going to Dogtopia of Canton for the 3 years we've had our dog. He loves it there and always comes home tired. I love that you can watch your dog on the live cameras and I know that they are well cared for. My dog got hurt from rough housing with another dog (they're animals, it happens) and Dogtopia handled it very professionally and called to check on him the next day as well as paid for his vet appointment. We have tried other daycares in the area (because we no longer live close to dogtopia), but none have even come close to them and they are by far the best in Baltimore and I will continue to drive out of my way to take our pup there!

Mariel S.

Yelp
We were so relieved when the on-site employee, Brad, allowed us to pick up our dog outside of their regular business hours because we were held up at the airport. The other employee, Julian, was very professional and helpful as well. We were looking forward to seeing our boy so much, and not having to spend another night away from him was great. Ted loves playing here, and we trust that he is safe and well taken care of.

Yelp
First, the staff is wonderful. Clearly they love dogs and ours is always greeted with big smiles and lots of pets. They also were very nice about staying for a few minutes when we were running late. Very kind. Our dog always has a blast and is completely exhausted for two days following his visit. And as dorky as this is, we love catching a glimpse of Bernie on the webcam racing around with his friends. It is a bummer they don't have an outdoor space but I don't think our little guy minds a bit!

Yelp
I will keep it simple: I agree with some reviews below that is is unfortunate that they don't have an outdoor area, but this is the ONLY drawback!! They are professional, caring, attentive to special requests, accommodating, and just plain nice. I have boarded my dog here several times, without complaint, only praise. My dog, Stark, loves it here. I have taken him to daycare and boarding at other places in Baltimore, but none of them compare to these folks!

Yelp
The staff is very friendly. They get to know your dog's personality and odd little traits. They remind you that you can buy a bath and clip when you board your dog, it's a delight to come home to a good smelling dog. You can also get an app so you can watch your dog during the day on your phone - very fun.

Yelp
Staff is always accommodating, whatever the case. Most importantly, my dog loves it here and I never have to worry about him!

Yelp
I love that the front desk staff remembers my dog and says hello every time I come in. It is a welcoming and friendly doggy day care that feels very personal.

Yelp
My 2 labs are regulars at Dogtopia. Blue and Millie are always so excited to go to day care. For me, the best part of Dogtopia is the staff. They know my dogs, welcome them in and treat them so well. I'm completely comfortable leaving them there and know they will love and care for them like I do.

Yelp
We tried out dogtopia of canton for the first time this summer when we went on vacation. We usually have a house sitter/walker but wanted to give our dog more attention and play when we were away. Big mistake!!! After 5 days of boarding we picked our dog up with goopy eyes. We took her to the vet and found out that both her eyes were infected and she had a unrinary track infection. I truly believe this comes from the staff not letting the dogs outside as they are trained and use to, so my poor dog held her pee for as long as she could and developed a UTI. This policy goes against the hard work owners put in to train their puppies. To top off this terrible experience my dog came home with nicks and scabs all over her body but mainly around her neck/head. I know dogs are playful but the amount of scabs was excessive and worries me that my dog was nipped and bullied for 5days which brakes my heart!! I will never use Dogtopia again and hope that anyone reading this will seriously consider asking the right questions before using this place!!
