"Sprawling over 10,000 acres in Lampe, Missouri, Dogwood Canyon Nature Park was established by Johnny Morris—founder of Bass Pro Shops and nearby Big Cedar Lodge—as a place for families to spend time in nature. Elk, bison, Texas longhorn cattle, and whitetail deer roam the property, which is dotted with soaring bluffs and cascading waterfalls that can be explored via Jeep, tram, and Segway tours. There are also paved paths for biking and leisurely strolls, rugged trails for horseback riding and challenging hikes, and spring-fed waterways filled with rainbow trout for catch-and-release fishing. When hunger strikes, head to the on-site Mill & Canyon Grill Restaurant, where you can eat an excellent bison burger while gazing at the blue-green Little Indian Creek and a 120-foot waterfall."

Had a great time visiting the park, hiking the trails and trying the food. The park is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. The walking trails are great, and easy to get around on for a 6 mile walk. There is a tram available to tour the park along with bikes for rent. We tried some of the food at the snack bar after our hike, and it was fantastic. Other family members ate at the restaurant located in the lodge, and their food was amazing as well.

Google
We had the best time at Dogwood Canyon. We signed up for the 2 hour tram tour and it was absolutely worth it. Our guide Mickey was funny and knew everything. He was also super nice to my 7yr nephew and made him feel special. We saw everything; trout, groundhogs, turtles, elk, Texas long horn and bison. The gift shop is well priced and we will come back for the restaurant. Perfect day activity while at the lake

Google
if You ever, and I mean ever, get a chance to be near here, You have to check out Dogwood Canyon and Nature Park and Preserve. This is a Beautiful place of thousands of acres of the most jaw dropping part of America You will ever see in Your life. So much to do here and not enough time in the day. I really recommend the Tram ride. It goes for roughly six miles and actually crosses over into Arkansas. Bison, Elk and Longhorn Steers are just some of the Amazing Animals You will see. Enough said!

Google
We absolutely LOVED Dogwood Canyon!!! It was absolutely stunning and the people were all so nice! We took a tram tour and our entire family had a great time! Mickey was our driver and he was EXCELLENT he was so funny and made everyone feel so welcome! Mickey definitely made it a time to remember so thank you so much! We will definitely be back!

Google
Absolutely stunning. Inside of the building is pretty and spacious. It also has good air conditioning for the hot months. But the real star is what is outside. It is one of the most relaxing, awe-inspiring, and "stop walking and stare at this for awhile" places I've ever seen in person. If you're a tourist from out of the country, visit this park. This is something that USA can be proud of.

Google
The family and I had a great time visiting this nature park. Just being out in nature itself was refreshing, however it was also great to see some of the wildlife. We would highly recommend the tram ride to get the overall look of the main trail, bridges, and sections of the river, and, of course, the animal pastures. We didn't do this on our visit, but if I were to return, the bike ride would also be good to enjoy a more leisurely visit.

Google
Absolutely a must do if you visit Branson, MO. If you choose to walk the path rather than ride the tram, the walking path is paved, making it accessible to all ages. The views are stunning along the 6-mile loop. The park is very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed it very much.

Google
Beautiful park, a must see for everyone, the entry ticket is $20. If you want to see the Bison and Elk you will need to take the Tram for an additional $40. but it is worth it for the two hour tour. You do have the option of renting bikes, if I go back i will do that, or you can just walk it. the only thing I noticed is there are no benches anywhere in the park, so if you're walking for a long way and need to sit down and rest you are out of luck. this park is so beautiful, if I ever return to Branson I will definitely go back, highly recommend. Lastly, I want to give a shout out to our guide Berry, he was very knowledgeable about the park, and has the perfect personality for the job. Also, stop by the restaurant bar and see Bob, have him make you one if his secret Margaritas.

Yelp
Another gorgeous pristine outdoor experience provided by Johnny Morris! The grounds are impeccably preserved from the thrilling waterfalls, to the meandering streams, to the stunning lakes, to the nurtured forest, to the gorgeous hydrangeas and assorted blooms...flawless!! The lodge is built around an Old fashioned Mill theme. Outstanding Native American and Western exhibits. We rented the bikes and the 6 mile round trip trail was as scenic as it was invigorating! Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Dogwood Canyon. A must see when visiting the Brandon area.
google avatar

Beverly O.

Yelp
We enjoyed riding bikes through this beautiful nature preserve, so much so that we returned the next day and took the six mile round trip ride again the next day! Dogwood Canyon has a large number of bikes (including child-size) to rent for the day. It's a great way to see the park. If you're not into bike riding, there's hiking, walking and even a tram ride or go on horseback! We love this place, it never gets old!

Yelp
This was a great experience for my wife and I. The preserve is ultra clean. The buildings are beautiful. We rode the tram and is was really good. The tram driver was the knowledgeable and fun. The surrounding were beautiful. The weather was great. I would not want to go when it was hot. We got to see a newborn bison stand for the first time. Very cool

Yelp
This place is beautiful. It's so many things too... It's a wedding venue (in a variety of areas), hiking or biking trails, a wonderful tram tour of nature and animal pastures, a treehouse built by Pete Nelson and the show "Treehouse Masters", a nature learning center, and a not for profit 501C-3 conservation campaign. They have a restaurant that we did not try on this trip, and also offer some drinks and snacks in the gift shop both before and after you take off on your rental bike or tram tour. Everyone we encountered was helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable.
google avatar

Kim G.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing. We had a wonderful visit that included a tram tour. Rick was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Can't recommend him highly enough. The amount of effort they have put into this place should be mentioned as well. Just stunning scenery everywhere you look!
google avatar

Casey R.

Yelp
What a wonderful wonderful wonderful conservation area! A big thanks to Johnny Morris for the vision and all the team of people who have come together to make it accessible to everyone! This beautiful landscape has something to offer everyone! The admission fee is not too bad and is attainable for most families. The amenities range in price but again, cost is not bad for most families. You can also bring your own bikes, fishing poles or just the feet the good Lord gave ya to walk the pristine hiking or paved trails! We splurged and did the tram ride through the property in the morning and had lunch in the afternoon. Book ahead online to make it easy stress free experience! Make not that high tourist times would be fall and mid spring when fall foliage or dogwood blooms are at their peak! We happened to visit during spring break. The red buds were beautiful! A HUGE shout out to James. He was the guide on our tram tour and the history, stories and facts regarding conservation were unparalleled. Thanks James, you truly are the best!

Yelp
We had the misfortune to be here during a heat wave in August. 107 was hotter than I'd ever experienced infact we cut our vacation short because of the heat. But while in the area we visited the butterfly thing in Branson and this park. due to the heat We didn't do any hiking. We paid for the tram ride and looked around a bit .. then left. Would love to be here in the fall when the colors are beautiful and the temp it comfortable. It's a beautiful place waterfalls, stream, wildlife. The elk and buffalo can be seen on the tram ride and the driver was very kind to warn us of the heat and need to bring water. I ran and got more water and our neck fans. He also warned that the very front would get more sun so i moved back and was glad i did. Some reviews complained of the price of admission and the tram but I thought it was worth it. If gather it's land the owner of bass pro bought or donated ... anyway it is a neat. was disappointed the mill wasn't an active mill ... I'd asked if it was and they had said yes but the wheel wasn't moving.
google avatar

Jeffrey C.

Yelp
Spectacular, open year-round, but best in Late Spring, a brief period in fall when colors are changing, and if you're brave and want to bundle open, pretty in Winter especially after some snow. We took the tram ride. It was well organized and highly informative and goes quite a ways back in the canyon. This place is a photographer's dream. We were lucky enough to have Bison right next to the tram at one point including babies. Saw other wildlife close up but I heard it's more common to see them at a distance so don't expect this to be a zoo-like experience. The visitor center has incredible architecture and is fascinating to explore. The restaurant, albeit a little pricey, is worth the price for the above average food for a visitor's center and the spectacular waterfall views. There's so much to do here. You can rent bikes or go fishing on your own or guided or even take a jeep tour. In the heat of the Summer though, the visit would be less enjoyable as you can't swim in any of the bodies of water in the park.

Mora G.

Yelp
I wish I could give this place 10 starts! Probably my favorite part of our whole trip! It's beautiful. We could have spent the whole day here. I will definitely plan it that way on our next visit. We did the tram tour and our tour guide, Mickey, was great! The only thing that was a bummer was that the gift shop was closed when we got back (we took the last tour). But now I know for next time. We did grab a quick bite to eat in the restaurant before our tour started. We shared the bison burger and that was also good.

Yelp
Nice and quiet horseback ride with beautiful horses! Accommodating instructors! A very fun experience.

Yelp
As with most of the parks in MO we found this one by accident. Traveling behind a slow moving car until we just couldn't take it anymore, we pulled off at the first place we could which is how we stumbled upon this little gem. It sort of has a Bridges of Madison County vibe to it what with the stone architecture. They have a restaurant which serves more than burgers and fries. There are plenty of nature trails and streams, waterfalls and so on. It's a great place to bring the kids to let them run and burn off some energy pr at least to get them out of the house for a minute. For me it was just a great place to relax in the shade and forget the traffic and the rest of the world which is just over the hill but could just as well be a thousand miles away when you're surrounded by this much nature.

Yelp
What a wonderful park. Came here with my 83-year-old parents. We had a great time, it was a beautiful day which made everything pretty perfect. We had booked the tram ride well in advance as this gets booked up. It was a two hour ride through the woods With so much stuff to see. We saw lots of animals, water streams, and beautiful waterfalls. I would highly recommend this tour. You can also just hike through the trails for an easy hike or ride your bike. They also have a nice café, which looked good although we did not eat here we had other plans. A nice gift shop, as well as nature center. I would think that this place would be good for all ages. Even the older folks can enjoy the tram ride. it was a little bit pricey though. You had to pay an entry fee to get in and then pay a fee for the tram. For the four of us it was $220 for the admission and tram ride. The price was the only thing holding me back from giving it five stars.

Yelp
This is our favorite place to visit in Missouri! It's our 2nd time visiting Dogwood canyon and we will be back every chance we get. This time we did the tram tour which was amazing! Our tour guide was James and he was knowledgeable, funny and VERY kind. After our tram ride, my husband and oldest son rented fishing poles and caught LOTS of rainbow trout and one bass! My youngest son and I rented bikes and rode all around the property bike/walking trails. Next time we will do a private tour and go on some of the off road hiking trails they have!

Yelp
We are from out of state and on our drive back home, we happen to stumble upon the Dogwood Canyon sign but drove by it. Well I had a feeling that I just had to go and made my husband make a u-turn. If you love nature, this is a must. They are also super kid friendly and even with three kids, made us feel so welcomed. Their customer service was amazing. We chose to do the 2 hour tram ride and loved it. Joe our tour guide/driver is such a sweet person. You can tell he loves what he does and he seems so genuine. We learned so much about the place, the animals, and he took the time to let us take pictures with animals we would come by. Over all, I cannot wait to come back to this place and get to explore the places some more.

Sophia L.

Yelp
It's a beautiful well upkeep place to visit. There are many different activities and tours you can find on their website. Great for any age. Highly recommended. Note: I don't see any benches along the path if you are biking or walking, but there is resting area/station and restroom about every mile. Also, bring your own water or pickup a bottle at the gift shop because I only found 1 water machine hidden behind the Chapel along the main path.

Yelp
I'd been reading about Dogwood Canyon for YEARS and really wanting to come, but I was really torn between if this was going to be an awesome adventure or a commercialized and managed experience. Well it's a bit of both, but you can choose your experience. We purchased regular tickets for the walking experience. I did purchase these in advance and was glad I did because we drove by a few days while there and learned they were sold out. Upon arrival we entered through the museum/restaurant and took our time walking around (and taking pics and the photogenic waterfall right at the front). We saw the bikes and made the impulse decision to rent some! Glad we did, it did make the experience more fun! We rode all the way to the back, stayed and enjoyed a while then rode back to the front. With stopping to see the sights (and riding slow because we are out of practice) this experience took us about 2 hours (in case you are trying to plan). Overall my recommendation is to plan to spend 1/2 a day here. And you can bring in backpacks/picnics. There are plenty of beautiful places you can just enjoy the scenery and have a picnic. There are also a few picnic tables throughout the area. I had been very curious about the trolley and spent a lot of time deciding which ticket to purchase before we went. My recommendation is this - if you are physically able to walk/bike 6-7 miles, either walk or get the bikes. If you are not able to do that get the trolley ticket. We noticed that when the trolley would go through they only stopped briefly at each "scenic" area because they are on a timeframe.... One other thing to note is that the trolley is the only way you can see the animals as they are fenced in a specific area that only the trolley goes. It's apparently an extra 1.5 mile loop after the walking trail ends. I didn't feel like we missed out by not seeing the animals and I thought taking our time was worth the biking and exercise. So why did I dock it a star then? - it's expensive; if you live anywhere with a state park, this is similar but a little fancier with a paved trail - speaking of paved trails... there is only one... that the walkers, bike riders AND trolleys all use.. it was not busy when we were there because it was a weekday and still we were getting "looks" from other people who had to share the trail - the entry is confusing... we purchased these expensive tickets and NOONE ever asked to see them to allow us into the area, we literally walked right in; even after getting bikes there was apparently supposed to be an attendant but wasn't, we just took the bikes and went.... this doesn't seem right

Yelp
Beautiful, easy forest hike on paved trails. So many waterfalls to take in! We hiked one hour in and back. The scenery was more spectacular the further we went. We took the shuttle with J. R. as our guide. He obviously loves his job and he was a joy to ride with.
google avatar

Leesa R.

Yelp
One of the places I am likely to visit everytime I go to Branson. Oh how I hope I can get in shape to walk the trails or bike them!
google avatar

Sunshine G.

Yelp
Great place to visit! Lots to see, beautiful serene waterfalls, lots of fishing opportunities, lots of info on the mill and museum artifacts. It has a beautiful chapel with a great view of waterfall. Very rustic like bass pro. I highly recommend the Tram! It is a bit expensive but had we took the tram tour, we would not have seen the whole park or got to see the Elk or the Bison or Long horn cattle. Also, I regret renting a bike. It would have made it much nicer to ride than walk.
google avatar

Erin T.

Yelp
If you are looking for a great place to spend the day outdoors, look no further. This place is full of waterfalls, easy trails to walk or bike and it is absolutely gorgeous. Great laid back and full of the great outdoors. It is well groomed and kept well. We chose to rent the bikes for the day, and I was so pleased that we did. It is about a six-mile bike ride round trip, and it was definitely doable by middle-aged adults and kids who are not accustomed to riding regularly. There are some small hills that you do have to give your all to get up them, but they are manageable. I highly recommend you visit this place! It is gorgeous.

Yelp
Incredible! We absolutely loved the scenery and the bike ride with our kids. Unforgettable!

Yelp
I was surprised with a trip to Dogwood Canyon. The location does not lend itself to cell phones so do not look to get any signal. They have several options for entertainment. My wife was not sure which direction to go in as it was a surprise so she only booked the entrance admission in advance. THe have segways, trams, bikes to say the least ( All of which are best booked in advance 1-4 weeks) We got a set of bicycles to make the 6-mile distance ( there and back) about 25 markers in all. If you have water bring it, it is sold for 2.00 a bottle at the beginning (store) and in the middle ( vending machine). There is a lot to see, wildlife, waterfalls, etc. I did enjoy getting away from the fast-paced life for the day. I would come back and book the tram for sure.
google avatar

KK B.

Yelp
We visited in May 2023 and rented the bikes, which was so much fun. We are not youngsters anymore, but the paved trail was easy and delightful. We went early since the bikes get rented out quickly and you cannot reserve them in advance. The scenery is gorgeous (waterfalls galore) and the staff is very nice. Dogs and personal bicycles are allowed as well. I would imagine this place would be lovely in the Fall.
google avatar

Bob N.

Yelp
The restaurant on-site is excellent for lunch. Great fries, the sandwiches are pretty good also. We always have a bite to eat here when we tour the park. The tour of the property is always great. You just never know what you might see.

Scott R.

Yelp
We came here from out of state while visiting local family members. The park is nice and is easily accessible on the paved path. However, the day we went it was a bit hot. Two senior members of our group couldn't make the full trail so they turned back and went to the on-site restaurant to get the rest of our party seats. The hostess gave them a hard time and said they would only seat them if the full party was present. They both were hot and just asked to have a seat and some water. They had plenty of open tables so they couldn't figure out why. We arrived about 10 min after they finally did let them sit down. Aside from this rude person, the rest of the staff was very friendly and the food was good.
google avatar

Malcolm C.

Yelp
What a beautiful place for the whole family. Tons of trails, waterfalls and scenery. They even have a cool tree house built by "Tree House Masters". We made the mistake of getting there late in the day and didn't realize how big the park was so we only saw about half of the park but what we did see was absolutely beautiful. So great to get out in the open for some fresh air. You can take suv tours, rent bikes or go hiking. We didn't eat at the restaurant but looked really good, they also have a very informative museum with a ton of Native Indian artifacts which I love. Our next visit we will make sure we take advantage of a full day here.
google avatar

Anthony L.

Yelp
The only reason I'm not giving DC five stars is because EVERYTHING costs so much here. You have to pay just to get into the place THEN you have to pay MORE to do anything extra. They do offer a lot of different things to do and you could easily spend more than one day here. My wife and I opted for the tram tour. It lasts about 2hrs. Personally if you're able to walk and have the time I'd recommend just paying the entry fee and walking the park. I think it's 3.5 miles one way. On the tram you only have a few stops to get out and actually look and take pictures and even these few times are not very long. The rest of the ride you're zooming by everything as the tour guide tells his tale. They also have a restaurant/bar and a gift/snack shop. Beautiful place but you only see an extremely small amount of the over 10,000 acre preserve. If you like seeing beautiful country, trout, buffalo and elk I'd recommend this on your to do list if you're in the Branson area.
google avatar

Joy D.

Yelp
I had seen lots of reviews about how beautiful this park is. It's is really pretty but not like I expected. The trails are all wide and asphalt. Most of the streams have been built up to make waterfalls. I expected raw nature and not manicured lawns. I expected real hiking over rocks and trees. This is like a stroll in the park, They have trams that drive thru a lot. There are bikes and Segway's on the walkway also. It is amazingly beautiful, just not what I expected. I also thought $20 per person was pretty high to just walk thru the park.

Yelp
Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a privately owned nature preserve. My wife and I recently made our first visit to the Ozarks. Some friends suggested we check out Dogwood as we like to walk trails and see nature's beauty. The park's main feature is a 6.3-mile paved road/path going from the main entrance of the park to the far side. You can choose to walk it, bike it and take a tram. The park rents bikes and the tram ride is an extra-cost option. If you make the whole 6.3-mile journey you will end up crossing into Arkansas. If you choose to walk (and we did) be aware the trail is not a loop. If you do the whole 6.3 miles you will need to do the 6.3 miles back to the main complex. It can get hot out there so bring water. Along the path, there are many waterfalls to see. What wildlife you see will depend on how early you go and how many humans are out and about. There are several unpaved trails along the way if you want to veer off for a while. I would suggest bringing hiking sticks if you want to check these trails out. After our hike, we ate at the restaurant for lunch. We had a much-needed cold beer (it was hot and very humid) and the Trio Sliders. I would say the restaurant was moderately priced with a good selection on the menu. Many of the items were unique takes on mainstream dishes. Across from the restaurant was a nice gift shop. My wife and I would easily come back to Dogwood again. We would like to try it in the Fall. Two tips that worked out great for us; 1) purchase your park entrance tickets online, it will save you time at the park, 2) Go early if you plan on walking the trails, it gets hot out there in the summer.
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
Not gonna lie, this place is the lazy sportsman's paradise. We wanted to see some of the beauty of the Ozarks without a lot of equipment preparation and planning. We heard about the nature preserve while visiting Top of the Rock at Big Cedar. It was worth the 18.00 per person entry to know it would be well maintained and litter free, and not was it ever beautiful! Word to the wise get online and order your tickets and pay fir the two hour tram ride. They were sold out the day we arrived but we just rented bikes and saw as much as we could til our seats got sore! The restaurant is amazing - we had the Bison Reuben and Fried Catfish sandwich with homemade potato chips. The Bloody Mary was amazing as well
google avatar

Shanna S.

Yelp
Gorgeous park. The grounds are just stunning and very well taken care of. We did the tram tour with Larry. It was a booked tour but you weren't on top of each other. The tour is 2 hours long. It's very informative and you see bison and elk and plenty of waterfalls and lunch grass. Lots of people were out and about walking and riding bikes throughout. It was very hot, if you plan to walk or bike bring plenty of water.
google avatar

Clint F.

Yelp
What a wonderful place to take it easy and enjoy the wonderful surroundings. We took the tram tour and it was amazing our tour guide JR was great. When your in Branson be sure to plan to take a day and enjoy everything Dogwood Canyon has to offer fun for the whole family.
google avatar

Michele O.

Yelp
$25 entrance fee to the park I felt it was pretty steep for something that should be available for everyone. It was $15 to rent each bike...the experience really was beautiful. If you love photo opportunities like I do, this is time to take advantage of it. The best part of it was the tranquillity and breathtaking views. I needed a day like this, or should I say MORE days like this! I wasn't so much interested in the museum of artifacts as I was the walk and ride through the park and taking in its wonders. This was a treat!
google avatar

Diana G.

Yelp
We went for a walk on a nice day. The park charges a $20 entrance fee. They have a military discount. They do have paved and unpacked areas. The paved walking trails were easy. The unpaved did give you a little work out. Along the way, you'll find nice waterfalls. Bathrooms are available along the walking routes
google avatar

Scott M.

Yelp
I was told this was another Jonny Morris projects & he hit a home run. If you chose to you could spend the day hiking the trails, They trams to take you to back, Rent a bike & saw a Segway group. We walked back in over a mile & turned around, Recommend the or tram if you want to see the Buffalo in the back of the canyon. Lunch was pretty good, it's April 2nd and patio doesn't open for a few more weeks. We bright our dog along & it's ok. You have stay out the buildings. The tree house from Treehouse Master is really cool. All the trails are all tree lined & should be nice in summer time.

Yelp
We loved Dogwood Canyon and were fortunate to visit on Veteran's Day and received 1/2 off our tickets. It was a very cold day but still enjoyed lots this beautiful park had to offer. While we waited for our tram ride, we enjoyed the very nice museum, had lunch in the restaurant, visited the conservation/education building, the gift shop and the treehouse. The tram ride is 2 hrs long and our guide Teddy was excellent. He shared so much information with us about the park, it's history, the animals, Johnny Morris, etc. We had a few stops throughout the tour where you get out and look at certain things, like the church, a waterfall, feed the fish, etc. You have to take the tram to access the portion of the park with the elk and bison, which you can get very close to from inside the tram (see my pics)! Other options to see the park include hiking, renting a bike or a Segway. Will come back another time when it's warm and enjoy hiking and maybe a picnic. Beautiful place and top notch as typical of everything Johnny Morris does.
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
This is a beautiful way to spend your day. The paved trails are a pleasure and allow you to get very close to waterfalls, quiet streams of water and lots of beautiful plant life. The dogwood trees are especially beautiful in April. The restaurant has great food and the homemade potato chips are awesome. The catfish was light and fluffy, not oily in any way. The view of the waterfalls from inside the restaurant was an added benefit. Highly recommend!!!
google avatar

Sadie J.

Yelp
We are here on vacation and were excited to check out the park based on pictures and their website. It was a beautiful walk and we enjoyed seeing the many waterfalls. The trail was a paved trail the entire way- which was nice but also took away some of the true nature aspect. The price was slightly misleading. It is $10 a person to walk through the front gate. Then it's an addition $10 to walk on the trail.

madison k.

Yelp
Love this place!!! The little restaurant is amazing and everyone is so friendly. We went horse back riding and it was a blaze. Wish we could go everyday but we are from Florida!

Erica C.

Yelp
Visited Dogwood Canyon yesterday and had a fantastic time! We did a tram tour and Ray was an excellent tour guide. The tram tours need to be booked in advance and takes you on a 2hr ride around the canyon. There is a pavilion with picnic tables right next to the parking lot and a restaurant on the premises. Highly recommend if you are in the area, just be aware that it's not a cheap excursion.

Yelp
What a beautiful place to come and spend the day! We decided not to do any of the extra experiences and just walked along the paved path. It was great for my two young kids who ride in a stroller! The path is flat and wide. It follows the water for 3 about 3 miles. We only made it a mile in (again, I had two small kids with me). The mile we walked was beautiful and we got to see several waterfalls. We stopped and had lunch at the chuck wagon. Good burgers and fries. Many people were biking the trail. This would be a great place to bring young children to bike. We had a great experience here. Please note, it does cost to get in and the price does not always match what is on the website. We paid $20 for adult day pass tickets. 4 and under a free.

Yelp
Amazing day surrounded in the beautiful tranquility of Johnny Morris vision. This Canyon has spectacular views of steams and waterfalls, the chapel has breathtaking views. I highly recommend taking the guided tram ride, this tour you will see Bison, Elk, and Long Horn Steers. If you like biking, fishing, Skagway, or private tours this is the place for you. Easily you could spend the day . Oh did a mention the incredible tree house. In addition they do have a wonderful gift shop and a restaurant.

Yelp
Went on the wilderness tour here today. It was an incredible experience. You will see beautiful scenery, numerous animals, great for kids and adults alike. The streams are full of trout and you will see elk and Buffalo. I highly recommend this tour. If you are are lucky, you will get Joe as a guide, he does a phenomenal job and is very knowledgeable about the area and history in general.

Yelp
Dogwood Canyon is absolutely beautiful. We stopped by here during a weekend trip to Branson and it was well worth it. They do have a restaurant located on the property as well (I wish we would have checked it out as well). We took a wonderful walk throughout the park. There were multiple beautiful waterfalls throughout (pictures attached). Definitely a must see attraction near Branson, MO.

Yelp
Dogwood Canyon is one of our favorite places! We love taking the kids to ride bikes. We do wish there weren't so many visitors, but it's not quite as crowded past the pavilion. If only we lived closer so we could visit more frequently. It's such a beautiful park!

Yelp
The low-key, non-commercialized, natural atmosphere was so beautiful! We enjoyed our horseback ride from the pleasant, helpful trail guides to our amazing horses Doc & Silver! Thank for such a wonderful experience! We will definitely recommend your business! The Lord bless & keep ya'll!

Yelp
If you are in the area of Branson or Springfield Missouri must make a stop to Dogwood Canyon Nature Park. A place acquired by Johnny Morris (founder of Bass Pro Shop) in the 1990's. A 10,000 acre park to fully immerse yourself to what the Ozarks are all about. Beautiful waterfalls, rock formations, trees, ponds. There are different ways you can enjoy the park: by foot, taking a tram, bike, Segway, or horseback riding. We did the Segway tour which was absolutely fabulous. A fun and exciting way to see the park. The park does have a chapel for weddings. There is a large picnic grounds for outdoor gatherings. At the front entrance you see a mill house which does still function. They have a restaurant right next to their large gorgeous waterfall. If you do decide to take a tram, rent a bike or Segway or horseback ride it is an additional cost from the general admission. It is a conservation park, aimed at preserving the plant and animal life in the area.

Yelp
We visited Branson for MLK weekend. We had also visited last April, when we stayed on-property at Big Cedar Lodge's Wilderness Camp / time share, and when we first visited Dogwood Canyon. On that April trip we: - learned about the existence of Stag Moose from the museum - Saw an amazing group of animals, including bison and fish, inside, too - Rode bikes on the trails - Enjoyed visiting the treehouse built by the "Treehouse Masters" show on Animal Planet TV network. - Caught eight trout, which fed us over three dinners (yes, we paid to fish and paid per pound to take them home) - Had MUCH family fun This January trip was similar but shorter. Only our daughter and I fished, because it was 25 degrees, and because our son had homework to complete, too. There were few people when we arrived, but the staff was quite helpful, including driving us to the location where we wanted to fish... an unexpected blessing. Our daughter caught two trout quickly and I caught one. We really wanted another but we kept missing the ones popping up out of the water. By time it was the 4pm closing, the pickup returned to take us back, and we were surprised the two hours had passed so quickly. This was interesting... the trout froze on the stringers, so by time we got around to gutting and filleting them in our room (it had a kitchen), they were still frozen, which made the tasks a bit easier. They provided good eating, and the three were just the right amount for our family. While the day was a bit overcast, just being there, outside, even in 25 degrees, was a blast. We're glad we came, and we plan to visit Dogwood Canyon on future trips to Branson. Thank you, Dogwood Canyon!

Yelp
Ian was our tram tour guide. Not only was the day absolutely perfect, but he made sure we were all safe, having a wonderful time and happy with our experience. We spent quite a bit to come to Dogwood Canyon and I have not one single regret about it. It's truly heaven on Earth. We will be back. Such a wonderful gift from the Morris family to allow us on the property. Just stunning. Go. Go. Go.

Yelp
This place was just wonderful experience in every way! It's beautiful inside and out. The food was amazing.. Best mushrooms I've had in my life. The vibe is romantic and cozy, and the waterfall right outside the window was incredible. I would love to visit again!
