Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge Will Please Even The Most Hardcore Fans

"Some of the most exclusive—and priciest—items in Galaxy’s Edge can be found in Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. Part museum, part souvenir shop, it displays some of the more than 7,000 props created for the Star Wars universe."

Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities: I visited Dok Ondar’s while on vacation last November (2021). I had my heart set on purchasing a Luke Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber (Return of the Jedi edition). They are sold exclusively at Disney Parks and I’ve been patiently waiting to buy one since having to delay my trip that was originally planned for March of 2020. I got there at 8:30am and not only did the shop not have that lightsaber in stock, but they were also out of numerous other character’s lightsabers. My issue here is that these lightsabers are sold exclusively at the parks. When I asked a cast member if I could order one since they did not have it I was cheerily told that they were expecting a shipment sometime soon and that I should check back. I’m sorry, but how many people have the means to visit Disney parks on a daily basis!? My single day ticket was $170 and I live in WI! I’m pretty sure I’m not alone here as Disney attracts guests from all over the country and even the world. This was a completely unacceptable response. If you want to sell the products exclusively to park guests fine, but let us order them then if you don’t have them in stock when we visit! It can’t be that hard to provide a guest’s park ticket number as proof that they were there! I was so disappointed by this that I didn’t spend a cent on any of the other Star Wars merchandise and I’m someone that could have easily been taken for hundreds with my level of fandom. It just really sucked because it would have been a nice souvenir for a special trip as I doubt I will ever visit Disneyland again (I much prefer World, but happened to be vacationing in San Diego). Now I have to wait until I visit Disney World in a couple of years and there’s no guarantee they’ll have it in stock. On a more positive note, the shop itself was neat to see and there are some really cool items decorating it (decorations, not for sale). Depending on your level of fandom there are plenty of “Easter Eggs” to be seen.

I don't even buy anything at this shop, I just come to check out the decoration. I am serious, it really is just worth it to come and be enthralled in the environment. Hot tip: If you are looking to get something from the case come at the end of the day. It gets VERY BUSY and you might have to wait to just even get close to the display.

Google
What a cool shop! Come in and see the cool decorations and maybe buy yourself a trinket or two. So many cool immersive Star Wars stuff to see. Definitely worth the visit even if you don’t buy anything.

Google
This store’s decorations are amazing. I would recommend at least stopping inside for that reason alone. The merch is alright, but the decorations hanging on the wall and the design of the building really make this store cool. If you’re a Star Wars fan I would definitely recommend coming here.

The decoration in this shop is amazing. Makes you feel totally immersed in the SW universe. It's totally worth visiting for the pictures.

Very cool interior. The whole galaxy's edge is amazing. I didn't buy anything but the props and décor is perfect. You feel like this is directly out of a star wars movie.

This might be one of the most popular stores in all of Disneyland! Definitely the most important store in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! This is where you could find movie, accurate, costumes, beautiful statues, and, of course, the legendary legacy lightsabers! They have tons of sabers out on display for you to test before buying them. They also have lots of smaller and affordable items like plastic sabers, Kyber Crystal necklaces and holocrons.

I was so excited to visit this shop since our 2019 holiday was cancelled due to COVID, but to be honest it was a real let down and this was mainly down to the attitude of the staff and not what the shop can offer.. We visited the store twice, the second time was very reluctantly in all honesty due to the first experience in store being so poor, but that’s the hold they have when the items are exclusives and you want to collect them! Basically like everywhere in Disney, the store is rammed to the point of being quit uncomfortable, trying to just take in the scene and browse is hard but then comes the kicker, you want to look at the lightsabers that in the counter.. we’ll there’s some sort of invisible queue you need to join, with a very abrupt cast member barking at you “are you buying” if so you need to join the non existent line and I mean there are no marking, queue line area, no instructions on how or were to stand - it’s a total mess.. Two points here, I haven’t even seen what I can buy or looked at it. personally yes I’m here to buy something and most likely more than one thing if I’m in the right mood but why wouldn’t you just take the time to be polite and engage with your customers, I get it - you must get a fair few people in daily who want to look but can’t drop $$ on this stuff but then there must be enough people like me who could be easily tempted to drop 2k or more junk as I’m in holiday! Ultimately I bought the Dark Sabre, Darth Vader, kylo day one but honestly I want Anakins, Obe Ones and Sideous and Cel Kest at the minimum. I didn’t bother with blades again due to the staffs attitude, basically when you leave tough you can’t get one (well I can from Amazon) - I didn’t buy due to packing it onto a flight but would have if I’d been offer a solution like Universal Studios who posted my Harry Potter Walking stick home! Day two I had to go back to buy Kyber crystals as I was incorrectly told that Kylos can with one, which it doesn’t! The experience really turned me off and I am truly disappointed with the whole Disney experience this time around!

Yelp
As a Star Wars fan, I have to say that I was totally blown away when I stepped into this shop. The decor with all the absolutely phenomenal pieces of "antiquity" displayed on the walls above, are a feast for the eyes. And Dok-Ondar himself... freaking amazing! Seriously... I stood there gazing, I guess far too long, as my friends were trying to move on and head back outside. Not me! I could've stood there another 15-minutes. Ah, well... One point I'd like to make, which has nothing to do with the aesthetics of the shop, is the horrendous quality of the Legacy Lightsabers they sell. The blades with the uneven light, and the laughable sound quality and ZERO smooth swing... is appalling and totally unacceptable for Disney - COME ON! You gotta be kidding me? So close... yet SO FAR. GAH! Anyways, the shop is a must see. GO HERE!

Yelp
Cool place to visit if you are a huge Star Wars collector. They have many items here that you won't find at many of the other gift shops at Disneyland. Inside of the den, you will find a rotating collection of unique items like lightsabers, jewelry, kyber crystals, Sith holocrons and apparel. I'm not a huge collector, but it is fun to check out some of the merchandise here. I also like how cool looking this shop looks. Especially the trophy heads of famous Star Wars animals hanging on the wall. Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities is located inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

Yelp
The interior alone of this place is awesome! What a better way to immerse yourself in Star Wars / Galaxies Edge than to step into Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities? You step inside and immediately feel as though you have been transported to another time or dimension. The decor on the walls and all around you is quite impressive. It does get crowded inside, since this is a popular spot. But be sure to check it out! The air conditioning is refreshing too!

Yelp
This shop was pretty cool. It is located in Star Wars Galaxy Edge. They sell star wars merch. The shopping experience is so immersive. The entire place is like being in a totally different world. For any Star Wars fan, this entire section of Disneyland is a must-see.

Yelp
I have visited this shop on a few occasions. It is located in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. Even on the outside before you even walk in, you get an idea of what is inside. There are cool relics at the entrance. I enjoyed coming here to view the cool antiquities throughout the store! Up on the second floor, away from the shoppers, is where the not for sale items are. Those displayed items are fascinating to look at! On the wall up above, there is the skull of a mythosaur from The Mandadlorian! I'm sure you won't want to miss seeing the Wampa Ice Creature! Down in the shop, there are many things to see up close! There are some oddities in water. My knowledge is limited, but it's all interesting to view! If you are interested in purchasing Light Sabers and Kyber Crystals, they have those here! No matter what, it is worth a trip to Batuu to check out the treasures in this shop!

Yelp
Oh yum, "calamari flan" in a packet. See photo. This place is wild. They have a lightsaber shop where you can build your own lightsaber and also buy your Jedi robes and fun gifts. The employees really get into the spirit here. When I asked them if they had any birthday pins since Main Street was too crowded they laughed and said they melted the pins for scrap metal. Overall a fun gift shop with Jedi stuff from the novels. Like the Holocrons. Jefi and Sith, and they light up and you can twist them like a puzzle.

Yelp
This shop is well-themed with some collectibles that I didn't find in other shops within Star Wars Galaxy Edge. The selection of unique items is definitely worth stopping by. As for value, I cannot speak to specifics as I have only browsed this shop personally but friends have said their items have lasted for years. The cast members have always been super friendly, and I'll definitely keep an eye out as something might strike my fancy in the future!
google avatar

Deno A.

Yelp
Wow. What a cool shop. I didn't even know what it was from the outside as there is not a traditional open door so you can look inside. I actually thought it was a bathroom Boy was I surprised Having a doll of Dok Ondar being in there while you shop for high quality light sabers with friendly staff that answer all your annoying Qs like how long of a lightsaber I should get (haha!) really brings the kid out from inside you Check it out!
google avatar

Christy M.

Yelp
This is the way. If you are a casual fan or the ultimate Star Wars nerd, you will find all kinds of treasures here! I am definitely the latter, and even I find things I can't identify. Legacy sabers, statues and busts, cosplay/costumes and accessories, holocrons, kyber crystals, and more. Whether you favor the Jedi, the Sith, the empire, or the rebellion- you're bound to find some awesome swag here!

Yelp
Even if you've maxed out on spending at Disney, drop by to see what off-world treasures Dok-Ondar has at his shop. I probably spent 1% of my time looking at the actual merchandise and the other 99% gawking at how much detail was put into the decoration. A big draw into the store were the holocrons which they have on a wall. You're free to pick them up and play with them. They are plastic though so they feel kind of cheap and take away from the experience a little bit. I kind of wish you could have bought that stuff instead of the the toys and costumes they had.

Yelp
Best. Gift Shop. Ever. This creative gift shop has lots of unusual relics to look at, as well as exclusive Jedi & Sith merchandise. The nearby marketplace has five smaller immersive shops with other merchandise exclusive to Galaxy's Edge. Take your time to look at all the displays in every shop. At Dok's, there's a must-see diorama of the sarlacc pit with a living, breathing baby sarlacc.

Yelp
Who wants a jaw dropping / magical experience shopping and being immersed in what you love!? This store inside Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge was hands down a mind-blowing moment. There are so many SW movie references! The head bust collection on the wall was super rad and they of course sold gadgets and character lightsabers. Warning: If you love Star Wars, you will be buying a ton here!

Yelp
Once I had purchased my Jedi robes, it was time to get some incidentals that every Jedi needs to be a guardian of peace and justice and that means a visit to Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities. Dok-Ondar is an Ithorian who had several dealing with the notorious smuggler Han Solo and once hired him to retrieve some infant sarlaccs from the planet I'vorcia Prime. These days Dok-Ondar operates an antiquities shop in the First Order side of the Black Spire Outpost of Batuu. He is known to be a bit tempermental, but for the right price, he is willing to trade for almost any treasure in the galaxy. Rohlinism: Money talks no matter what language is being spoken! The Den of Antiquities is a popular destination for the force sensitives as well as off-world souvenir hunters and there is usually a line to get in and if Dok-Ondar gets another shipment of the rare yellow and white kyber crystals those lines will increase exponentially. The better half was kind enough to hold our place in line while I wandered the Merchant Row until she contacted me on my comlink to inform me she was almost to the front of the line. Unlike Savi and Kat Saka, Dok-Ondar ( https://bit.ly/30RTIGr ) is a more hands on proprietor and you can find him wheelin' and dealin' his ancient antiques during the hours of operation. I was here for a lightsaber belt clip ( https://bit.ly/2LGCxnI ) because there is nothing more embarrassing than coming face to face with a Sith Lord and having your lightsaber fall off your belt. I had no problem locating this accessory which left me with some extra time to wander the den and see what else Dok-Ondar had to offer. When it is time to purchase one or several of Dok-Ondar's antiquities, don't forget to present your Disney Passholder Credentials for the appropriate discount. The décor of the den is quite impressive from the dome ceiling and large light fixture ( https://bit.ly/2MchPeP ) to the taxidermied heads ( https://bit.ly/30ULHki ) of a kod'yok from the planet Vandor, a tauntaun from The Empire Strikes Back, a Corellian hound from Solo: A Star Wars Story, a nexu from Attack of the Clones and an anooba seen in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. The den has two levels with the lower level being dedicated to items for sale to off-worlders and the upper level containing items from Dok-Ondar's private collection which are not for sale to off-worlders. We started browsing on the lower level where you can find the pieces ( https://bit.ly/32NB30e ) to create your own game of Dejarik. Dok-Ondar has collected items for both the Dark Side ( https://bit.ly/2SAsRvI ) and Light Side of the Force. For the females, no den of antiquities within the empire of Darth Mouse would be complete without the option to dress ( https://bit.ly/2YbLd7C ) like a princess. At the counter, in display cases, you will find legacy lightsabers from such Jedi as Obi-Wan Kenobi and Mace Windu and the Sith Lords Darth Maul and Darth Vader. For younglings, Dok-Ondar has less dangerous (and less expensive) Padawan Lightsabers. To those who are force sensitive, Dok-Ondar has procured a number of Jedi and Sith Holocrons ( https://bit.ly/2YnbmnU ) and kyber crystals which are needed to retrieve the wisdom store within the holocrons. Jedi holocrons are cubes and dodecahedrons and the Sith built their holocrons in the shape of pyramids. For centuries, the holocrons held vital, sensitive knowledge and wisdom regarding the nature of the Force and because of their historical significance and invaluable lessons the Jedi stored their holocrons in the Archives of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. After Darth Sidious overthrew the Republic, holocrons became scare, but Dok-Ondar has been able to procure several of the holocrons for resale. In millenniums past, only force sensitives could unlock the wisdom of a holocron, but these holocrons only require a kyber crystal to prevail knowledge to their owners. The upper level contains many items of significant importance including a Medal of Bravery which was presented to Han Solo and Luke Skywalker at the end of A New Hope. You will find a wide array of weapons including the DL-44 heavy blaster made famous by Han Solo and a Westar-34 blaster pistol employed by Jango Fett. In addition to the weapons, there are several pieces of armor and helmets from clone troopers, Mandalorians and the Z-6 jetpack worn by Boba Fett. Slightly out of place within all these artifacts is the aforementioned infant sarlacc Han Solo had procured from I'vorcia Prime. And Dok-Ondar must have made a special trip to Earth because he is now in possession of the Ark of the Convenant. Between the excellent selection of merchandise and being able to look at Dok-Ondar's private collection on the upper level can keep off-worlders occupied for hours!

Yelp
This place is so cool and has everything and anything a Star Wars fan could never buy before! Or at least, buy at a reasonable price and licensed by Lucasfilm/Disney/Star Wars! They have holocrons and lightsabers and kyber crystals, clothes and jewelry and accessories, statues and busts and figures, so many cool items that you have to see to believe. The layout and design is amazing too, you really are transported to the Star Wars world and Dok Ondar is super cool to watch.

Yelp
Have extra cash you wanna burn? This is the place to do it! Dok-Ondar's is filled with amazing treasures inspired by Star Wars. From lightsabers directly from canon to holocrons you can play with, there's so much going on here! Make sure you check out the upper deck and spot all the cool Easter eggs from the movies (and beyond!). Also, be fully prepared to spent a stupid amount of money on things you don't need, but just desperately want.

Yelp
As Chancellor Palpatine once said, " [The] Dark Side of the Force is a pathway that many abilities consider to be unnatural." My instincts/feelings have brought me here after many months since the Earthlings opened up the entrance to Baatu, the Black Spire Outpost. My search has finally come to bear witness and to hold a powerful lightsaber that will strike down the Jedi! Make way for Darth Ryan at Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities at Baatu, the Black Spire Outpost in Galaxy's Edge at Disneyland. After opening Galaxy's Edge in May 2019, the Black Spire Outpost in Baatu has been heavily crowded bringing hundreds of thousands, if not millions from all over the country and beyond. My soul firmly led me to a location hidden from the First Order, but open to the Resistance. I have found where my path leads me to. This is no scrap metal shop, this is home to both Sith/Jedi Legacy Lightsabers. You will find Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities with multiple statues outside of his facility. Once you walk in, you will notice a panel of the history of war between the Rebellion/Resistance/Jedi vs the Imperial/First Order/Sith. Then, you will see all the collectible items from the top of the ceiling to the bottom of the floor. You will see items from the past from the Clone Wars to the current war with the First Order. There are statues/figurines that you can purchase from a copy of Supreme Leader Snoke to Darth Vader's Castle. If you are in search of your true path, you can purchase Holocrons and Kyber Crystals. If you build your own Lightsabers, the Kyber Crystals, both Sith and Jedi, and other accessories can be purchased at Dok-Ondar's, but are behind the counter since they are highly valuable items. No Droid Accessories can be found here. I don't think Dok Ondar likes droids in shop...only scrap pieces anyways. The TRUE HIGHLIGHT of Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities: THE LEGACY LIGHTSABERS. When Galaxy's Edge opened in May 2019, within a week or two, the Lightsaber inventory was GONE! My soul told me to wait and I came in at the right time in the year, 2020. Dok Ondar has a collection of lightsabers from Jedi Master, Obi-wan Kenobi, to Sith Lord, Darth Vader. Even the new inventory has the re-forged Luke Skywalker Lightsaber to the Dark Lord, Kylo Ren's. I wanted to harness imperfection while trying to fulfill a void in my life with Power and Control! I wanted...KYLO REN'S LIGHTSABER!! The broken Kyber Crystal that powers the lightsaber giving it a crackling sound to it's enemy. The three bladed lightsaber makes this a perfect weapon. Kylo Ren's Lightsaber is priced at $149. It comes with the two side blades and a special surprise: a Belt Clip! The other lightsabers have a D ring or another connection that requires a separate purchase. Caveat: The main blade is not included with any of the legacy lightsabers. HOWEVER, they are all compatible with all lightsabers including those who made their own at Savi's Workshop. Savi's Workshop Blade is 31" and is free with the purchase to build your lightsaber. At Dok Ondar's, you can purchase a 26" Blade for $44.99 or a 36" Blade for $49.99. AP Discounts are only valid for the blades and NOT FOR ANY OF THE LEGACY LIGHTSABERS. The Scrap keepers will allow you to test them with your preferred legacy lightsaber with the blades. You can ask them many questions. All Legacy Lightsabers comes with complimentary batteries. Kylo Ren's Lightsaber is HEAVY. It has to be a good 4-5lbs without the blade. With the Blade, you will feel the power that Kylo Ren once had and you can continue on with his dream. Take this bad boy of a lightsaber out to Baatu and take wonderful photos with the citizens of Black Spire Outpost. I am very impressed with the detail of the lightsaber including imperfect wire that comes out that Kylo Ren utilizes. The LAST surprise of the Legacy Lightsabers, they all come with a display box with the era symbol of that wielder of the lightsaber. It will make any Star Wars Fan eager to collect them all. I am glad I waited many months after opening, but there will be more lightsabers in the coming future, including the possibility of Rey's Lightsaber at the end of Rise of Skywalker or even Count Dooku from the Clone Wars or Darth Sideous from Revenge of the Sith. There are many more lightsaber wielders that may pass through Dok Ondar's Den of Antiquities and we'll be watching. As much as I would like to build my own lightsaber, the history of your own lightsaber cannot be connected with any famous Sith/Jedi. That is why I went all the way with a Legacy Lightsaber. As Emperor Palpatine says, "Once more the Sith shall rule the galaxy. And we shall have... peace." Our Course is True and Steady. With every review journaled down, it inspires followers to become leaders. With every letter, it brings a start; with every word, it brings passion; with every sentence, it brings life; with every paragraph, it creates a story. Yelp Brings Us Together by Simply Sharing in Our Universe!

Yelp
If your visiting Batuu, your curiosity may lead you to Dok Ondar Den of Antiques. Dok has colleted many items sprinkled throughout the galaxy. Dok has collected weapons such as lightsabers as well as Jedi and Sith holocorns. His shop has tems from the the era of the Empire, like a one of a kind tie fighter pilot helmet and also General Grievous's mask is now for sale.

Yelp
I really like this shop. It reminds me a little of my house. There are so many things displayed on the walls. It's basically a little museum with things for sale inside. Even the front door is cool. It automatically slides open just like it should. The display case with all the light sabers attracted the most attention. If you are too lazy to build one or had the line cut off on you, take a look at what they have here! I personally skipped past these (reluctantly) and bought a Jedi Temple Guard's Mask =)

Yelp
Awesome place truly take the time to walk in here you'll find things you'll never find outside of this store. The place has ton of movie props on the wall that are worth looking at. And get ready to drop a good chunk of money here they got awesome selection of star wars decorative home decor costumes and light saber
google avatar

Lester L.

Yelp
Got my first light saber from here. Sadly the selection wasn't much to choose from but I still got the legacy Luke skywalker light saber. Great place, tons of items to buy and the prices aren't too steep. I'm no means a saber expert but the quality is extremely detailed and well built. Hopefully they stock the temple guard saber, mace windu and obi-wan saber soon. Will definitely return to this place for future saber purchases. After I collect the legacy sabers then I will make my own at Savi's workshop. Overall fun place to be in.

Yelp
One of a kind experience. Attention to detail in every corner and every product they sell. A little pricey but considering everything they sell is authentic it's worth it. Every Star Wars fan needs to visit at least once!

Katherine S.

Yelp
It's a very awesome store with a lot to look at. However, I think their policy to only sell Kyber crystals to people who purchase holocrons is ridiculous. I just spent $400 building two lightsabers at Savi's and they won't let me purchase a crystal to change the color. They say they are low on crystals, but I bet the "policy" is just in place to sell their $50 holocrons. I was not the only customer upset about this.

Justin J.

Yelp
I had an amazing experience here, and I have no good way to leave feedback (the phone tree for feedback takes you to a disconnected extension!) for the cast member who assisted me so I'm leaving it here! Kendra helped me on 10/28 (evening) to find an item not on the shelf and went above and beyond to help me make my purchase. She helped me a few hundred dollars just by finding me what I could not see on the shelf anymore in my size. Thank you for being the best possible cast member to give me a top-notch Disney experience!
