Chose this due to it being a local independent grower, rather than it's huge international neighbour named after a Moby Dick character! Only booked day before and was a smooth booking process. Interesting drive to get to it with lots of winding roads and swirling fog. Once we got there, I really enjoyed this tour. Really informative and lovely place. Guide was knowledgeable and despite it being a wet day, everything was good. Told us about the history of the place, the processes and the distribution, everything from planting out to selling the finished coffee. He even told us about the other indigenous plants and the wildlife (and the not so wild plantation cat, aka pest control! ) All the signs were in English and Spanish. End of the tour has coffee and chocolates to taste before you buy. No pressure sales, but the coffee wasn't priced up, which was the only negative. Lots of signs for offers (buy X get x free but no idea of the cost).
Would definitely recommend.
