Visiting Dolce & Gabbana’s New Miami Store Is Like Being Inside an Italian Museum | Condé Nast Traveler

"Located in the city’s burgeoning Design District, the 5,402-square-foot boutique pays homage to the designers' love for performing arts. Designed by architect Gwenael Nicolas of Curiosity, the store takes styling cues from the 18th-century Teatro alla Scalla in Milan, one of the most famous opera houses in the world—and one of the designers' favorite places to visit."

Dolce & Gabbana has been one of my favorite boutiques in the Design District for years. The team is exceptional — always attentive, professional, and truly understands my style. They consistently find the perfect pieces for me, with the best selection that aligns beautifully with my aesthetic. A very special thank-you to Rene Mejia, who is not only an incredible sales associate but also a talented designer and a wonderful friend. His taste, creativity, and sincerity make every visit a joy. And Mariela, always so kind and professional — together they create an experience that feels personal and elevated every single time. An absolute must-visit for anyone who appreciates refined fashion and exceptional service.

I purchased a purse that within the first hour of taking out of the house broke. I went into the design district store and spoke to Julia. She assured me that Patricia Perez the assistant manager on Monday would call me and get it all sorted. I wrote and called for a week and never heard back. I called the store and asked for Jorge the manager they keep hanging up on me (4 times). Extremely rude and poor quality.

Beautiful store, friendly service with a smile. Stunning interior design. From the curved windows to the indoor statues. Great selection on both floors. Especially liked the upstairs selection, and view of celine across the road. Service was friendly and humble. Didn’t feel interrogated to make a purchase like you do in some other stores haha.

Dolce & Gabbana is one of my favorite stores to buy in Miami District, if you ever go, ask for Mariela and say you are coming on behalf Andres Gutierrez, also spend some money… hahaha There are very cool stuff and the services is very nice!

I had a very unpleasant experience at the Dolce & Gabbana store in the Miami Design District, specifically due to the behavior of the security guard. On my first visit, he checked his watch and rudely suggested I leave because there were “only 15 minutes left” before closing — even though the store was still open and I was simply browsing. Today, we walked past the store and he actually told us we weren’t allowed to stand in front of it. His attitude was unnecessarily aggressive and completely inappropriate, especially for a high-end brand. Dolce & Gabbana should seriously reconsider who they hire to represent them at the front door. This guard’s conduct reflects poorly on the entire customer experience.

The Dolce & Gabbana Design District store provides simply horrible customer service. Their employee’s lack of knowledge of their products is ridiculous and the security staff is unwelcoming. I ended up leaving the store and decided to shop at Prada and Dior.

Went in today Wednesday knowing there is a private “Friends and Family” sale going at specific boutiques that ends today Thursday ... however.... Instead of being offered the items... I was Questioned twice how I knew... and they all swore there was “NEVER” such thing. I enjoyed laughing in the inside as I tried to not show how upset I was.... —- I didn’t bother showing them the D&G invite. I was too upset and disappointed innerly by then. Went to Dior instead. Will probably never do business with this particular boutique Ever and I will definitely use it as an example of a store not to shop in Miami Design District. -

Me & my husband had a bad experience in the D&G Miami District the security followed us around during our time in the store. The sad part was I knew what I wanted to purchase so I decided I would purchase it when I returned. It was ordered once I returned home it was shipped from this store. Moral of the story treat everyone the same you just never know!!!!
