Dolce Italia Bavaro

We were craving Italian so we decided to try them out for dinner. The food was delicious , specially the pasta. The bread was hot and fresh out of the oven. I ordered a grilled shrimp Cesar salad (the portion was quite large) and it had good flavor. But my favorite dish was the carbonara pasta. Will go back to try the pizza. Service was great and location was convenient and the spot was cute.

We have been here 4 times in our 6 week stay. Ari’s had always been our server and had been extremely excellent! Food has always been excellent and keeps us returning. You need to add this restaurant to your stay when you are visiting! It is excellent!

We came here for breakfast. The avo toast and natural juices were good. We ordered hot chocolate but it was too sweet and the waitress in a very friendly way offered us to change it, so we really apprecciate that.

What a great breakfast. To start, the croissant was the flakiest and fresher I have ever had. So good. Then, the CRIOLLO VOL. 2 breakfast was the best my dad had ever have in his life. Yeilyn was so friendly and willing to help.

My niece told me that her pasta wasn't really good, and two of my daughter's friends said the same, and it was a simple thing to nail, Alfredo pasta. Ice cream is delicious, and juices are natural and fresh. Service and atmosphere are good, the place is cozy and family friendly.

A very quiet night (only about 4 other tables besides us). You wouldn’t have guessed by the slowness of the service. Ordered 3 appetizers and only got 2!!! Beef carpaccio at 15$. About 4 of the thinnest slices. Then pasta for the 3 of us. Lasagne and other pasta dish were ok. Mine was cold and without much taste (raviolis). While eating our appetizers, the waiter told me the pasta was ready and I told him I wasn’t as I was still eating my appetizer which took close to 45 minutes to arrive. A bad experience.

This restaurant had really great food and service seemed great. Unfortunately, after a decent sized bill and leaving a very good tip they still used my credit card info and proceeded to make numerous transactions on my card. I’m incredibly disappointed in the low morale of the staff and I will definitely be sure to let anyone know about this restaurant and caution them to not use their credit card but I would also just avoid in general if this is the type of staff hired. It’s businesses like this that make people cautious to spend money to help support the Dominican Republic's economy. What an absolute shame and disgrace. Update: after the restaurant quickly responded to my review I have yet to get a response to my email…hoping to hear from you soon as I’m still quite upset about this event.

I was very surprised when coming here. I searched for placea selling good pizza, and they did not disappoint. I loved the atmosphere and was very surprised that the bill wasn't as much as I expected.
