The food is excellent. Really enjoyed dinner here. We started at the bar with happy hour and selected to stay for dinner. Alexis the bartender was very nice and accommodating. Enjoyed the burrata salad, lamb chops, scallops, lobster, etc...everything was very good. And it's a really pretty restaurant.

The restaurant itself was tremendous and beautiful. The service was lacking quite a bit but the food was delicious and definitely made up for it. Our party of 10 enjoyed all of our meals, that came from a menu with a great variety of options.

Got steak here, not sure why. Why go to an Italian restaurant and order a steak!?! At least that is what my wife said. I would never get a steak here again, it was not terrible but just OK. Beef carpacio and roasted Brussels sprouts were 3 star as well. Stick to ordering the typical Italian dishes at this Italian restaurant and you should be OK. All the great restaurants in Chicago, probably would never come back here

As we walked in the restaurant after making reservations online, we got seated right away. The décor is lovely and well done. Our server Paul was friendly and took our order. We got our app appetizer right away and it was awesome, The grilled octopus. As for the squash rissoto was good and well cooked. But on the other hand the clam chitarra was not a big hit due to the pasta that had a sea food taste. As for the desert it was good but at 7 pm the cram Bru le ran out so didn't get to even try it. Overall it was good and will come back. Maybe try during the week next time.

Loved it! Food was outstanding-- especially the octopus salad appetizer (great to share for two) and the dessert. Great atmosphere and lively bar. Service was top notch-- our waiter was very attentive and recommended great options for all courses. It is a very open space so noise could be an issue if you are sensitive to that, but my wife and I were able to have an enjoyable meal with no problem talking to each other. Definitely will make a point to return next time we are in Chicago!

Beautiful, bright, clean and my favorite spot (at least 2x per week). Lunch specials draw my business lunches there. NICE music too allows for conversation. Home made pastas are amazing as is the staff. So glad they opened the patio for summer dining. Evenings have a great happy hour and occasional live entertainment. LOCAL...it is a must! And it is not expensive live others on the Gold Coast!

Didn't have a chance to try the Italian during my stay at the hotel, but I did get a chance to try the place for breakfast. Food is good, although fairly pricey for the amount that you get. Service is about as terrible as it comes though. You better be ready to order your drink, food, and ask for the check as soon as the server makes it to your table. Otherwise, you might not see them again for a while. The food does come out quickly once you have ordered though. Again, this is only a review of their breakfast.

Great spot! Came here with two other people. Wine list is impressive, but the cocktails were really the star of the show. Grilled octopus was done well, not chewey. Definitely go for one of the pizzas too! Unlike others, we found the service to be attentive.
