Booked into hotel Dolcino by our travel company we left satisfied. Read on for details.||Located on the main street leading down to the water and just a short walk from the old fortress, the hotel is conveniently located with many shops, eateries and markets just a few feet away. Our rooms were comfortable, modern and updated those short on electric sockets and absent USB ports.||The bed and pillows were comfortably firm. The room darkened nicely at night and there was negligible ambient noise.||Hotel breakfast menus in Montenegro are nearly all limited to some variation on the omelette and this was no exception. However, my ham and cheese omelette was nicely cooked and came with fresh bread, toast and a number of spreads.||The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. |||Where I to return to Ulcinj, I would not hesitate to return to Hotel Dolcino.

I arrived in Ulcinj well after dark and at a loss of where to stay. At the little round-about city center I went into the Top Net internet cafee and the kids working there helped out and directed me to this hotel just downhill, from the round-about. As clean on the inside as it appears on the outside. I found the rooms excellent, and the personnel friendly and caring. The included breakfast was very good and served in their restaurant. If you need a taxi, let them do it and they will get the guys with the meter (in the mirror). The hotel is just a short walk from a great supermarket, if you want that (in fact, there is one in each direction) and not far from the castle and a local bus stop. Everything else is conveniently located all around you in this charming little town. This is a hotel well reviewed by LP and others, and to me, a comfortable and outstanding choice to stay, when in Ulcinj. They deal in cash, but don't worry, there is a secure ATM right on street level below the hotel (left edge of attached picture). More on my website: cosmic-pearl.com

We sleeped in this hotel the last day of our trip in Montenegro. ||||First of all i have to say that i will never go back to Ulcinj because it was the worst city i have seen in all Montenegro(Kotor Budva Podgorica Perast were fabulous)||||Walking around in Ulcinj was very annoying , despite the sun at midday you have to deal with all the dudes coming to you and pushing you to see their rooms which they say that cost only 15-18 Euro per night. It can be a good price but man ... those people don't leave you in peace soso pushy..||||Let's talk about Dolcino .. its near the castle and like 400 m from the beach so it is not far. the location is good .it has no parking itself but you can leave yhour car down the street and its free but sometimes maybe you have to very lucky to find the parking.||The room was very good, big and clean with a very very small balcony like max 70 cm wide.||there is free Wifi and polite staff and very helpful.Ac works good.||we payed 50euros breakfastincluded (it was june) for ulcinj standard i think it was a bit overpriced. breakfast was good ; not buffet but they cooked a very good omelet.

This hotel is only 5 minute from the beach plaza the best beach without rockets and only Sand . There is a lot of shopping and market shop centre in the place, vey nice beach you can get for 6 euro the umbrella and two transats, two ice cream for 1 euro very cheap.||Regarding the hotel dolcimo I don't recommended the suite room with the Bath jacuzzi , not working dirty bath with hair from the rotating jets jacuzzi, the rain shower sliding bar with soap was completly Rusty , there was a water leak from the bath, toilette not working and not clean , also about the shower we couldn't have strong water very hot. The bedroom was confortable. ||About the breakfast it was not a unlimited buffet , just a tea and a cheese omelet nothing more!

The bad - The shower was the pits. Rotting floor (I believe) as the base of the shower was spongy. |-Located on the main street thus it is loud, but with the sliding door shut, the noise level was fine. |-Basic accessories|The good|-Really friendly staff|-Great breakfast - fruit, yogurt, omelette, meat, cheese and a bunch of spreads.|-Comfy bed. |-Price/location (old town etc.) - next to La Tevola which is a good spot for dinner.

We slept in Ulcinj only one night and we stayed at this hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious and the service very helpful. I did not like instead of the city while I enjoyed the beach MCM. Recommended.

A modern building in a central location and close to everything including the beach. Quite a nice room but the bathroom could do with sprucing up. Average breakfast. Probably would not stay there again.
