Dolphin Bay Resort & Peleliu Divers

We visited in January 2025. I would say the location and the staff is nice. But for the price you pay which is quite expensive even in Palau holiday standard it was quite lacking. We had a half board which was quite expenaive compared to food in nice resturants in Koror and twice as expensive as the only resturant in Pelelieu but it was not that good and lacking and definitely not up to the price. We paid 60 dollars more per day for the half board and I would say so not worth it. For brekfast we go either a coffee, tea, or juice. Couldnt even ask for both. And we goth an egg and some carb. Which was 10 dollars for a person. The annoying part was also they call themself an eco hotel but had no water refill facility even at dinner you were forced to buy bottle water which cost 2 dollars, while all the other hotels we stayed in Palau offered free refilable water. Wifi was also only available in the reception. I really think they could have done alot better. Especially when they are charging quite high for the stay and food.

First, if you're looking for luxury, this place is not for you. This is a small hidden gem in Peleliu, beautiful location, beautiful resort, great friendly staff, great fresh local food, and good accommodations. This small quiet resort can only accommodate approximately 14 people, its makes for a very private getaway. Why 4 of 5 starts, the negatives are not the greatest air conditioning in rooms, lack of HOT water, and local bugs in rooms, but expected from such a small quaint island. The bugs aren't that bad and based on the island, no way to really get rid of them. They are just there and leave you alone. Each room has a small water "heater" in the shower, but they don't work great. The water heater can't heat up the water fast enough and makes the water come out slightly around luke warm. If you need hot water, this will be tough for you. But I will say that barely warm water is actually nice because of the humidity. A cooler shower helps you cool down at the end of the day. ||||This little resort only has it's basics, no pool or hot tub, but you don't need it. This resort is probably the best on Peleliu and it's just beautiful and relaxing. They are pretty much off the grid with paid wifi available only in the "lobby" area. This is a place you come to relax, deep sea fish, WWII tour, and scuba dive. The resort also runs Peleliu Divers with several boats to accommodate larger groups. Good diving in Peleliu, with some strong currents in the right spots, but some calm diving is also available.||||I recommend this place for a truly relaxing stay in Peleliu.

Stayed 2 nights on a tour of Pacific Islands, visiting WW II sites on Peleliu. The 7 cottages or cabins are near the beach. Quiet with the feeling of really being back in time; Peleliu is actually a small island with not many resident. I was in cabin 6 and as far as I could tell all units were identical, even though my unit did not have a TV. Room and bathroom well-equipped, including complimentary water; everything worked. Only negatives, the bar did not have gin and no tonic water. Plenty of other options at the bar, and the bar and dinner service were excellent. Food served included Western and local items, served buffet style, Nice gift shop in the front office with the front desk. Make sure you visit the WW II museum that includes a small gift shop.

The Dolphin Bay Resort is truly a unique escape worth enjoying if you want:|1. Quiet time - There are 400+ residents, and few tourists within the 12 sq miles of Peleliu.|2. Wonderful diving - Access the the best dive sites in the region. |3. A gracious staff - They prepare all the tasty meals, keep the rooms clean, and the grounds well kept.||The pace of life and vacationing here easy to Enjoy!

To celebrate retirement I got to do a week in Palau/ Peleliu with our San Diego Dive Club (Ocean Enterprises). After the initial week of Palau 11 of us continued on to isolated Peleliu island choosing this resort as our base...... and I understand WHY !! :)||||For this very isolated location (only 400 island residents) owner Godwynn has developed an impressive facility having first-rate location, rooms and SERVICE.||From what I can tell this is the best property on the island and the seamless coordination with Peleliu Divers center (ride to dock daily, boat crew, transport to/from Koror Palau, etc. made this SO memorable.||As many of the "Palau" dive sites are actually closer to Peleliu our dive club travel coordinators are thinking of basing our stay out of this resort (vice loud, congested Koror. From the all-inclusive meal package to paradise setting I'll have NO objections our next expedition to the Pacific islands.

It was fantastic. I am going to come back, but this time with my family and friends.

Great Service! The rooms need some updating in the form of new beds, door seals, and A/C. But the service makes this the only choice for Peleliu. Also, amazing sunsets!

Beautiful location, staff is awesome. View is gorgeous and everyone around is super friendly. Will be back forsure. Love it here
