Dom Francisco Restaurante

Food is great. As a non-local for a restaurant with this reputation we were expecting the wait staff be More approachable and friendly.

We had a long layover in Brasilia Airport, so we decided to take advantage and have dinner. We were looking for a restaurant that participated in the Associação dos Restaurantes da Boa Lembrança (I collect their plates) and Dom Francisco was the only one we contacted that actually had the plate available. How lucky for us!!! The food was absolutely superb! I had the bacalhau, which was served with a shredded potato rosti and a mild sauce and my wife had the wild boar(!), which was served with grilled polenta. The boar was literally falling off the bone; the polenta was crunchy outside and creamy inside, accompanied by a demi-glace that was as delicious as the boar. The cod was lovely, golden, tender and flaky. We finished it all off with a wonderful crème brûlée, done tableside. The restaurant also has a very impressive wine menu, with many outstanding wines from around the world. Service, unsurprisingly, was also excellent.

A entrada que pedimos estava simplesmente perfeita (burrata) e os outros pratos não deixaram a desejar. O atendimento deles tbm foi impecável e o ambiente é bem tranquilo e bonito.

O restaurante Dom Francisco é bom em qualidade e comida, porém o atendimento pelo WhatsApp da unidade da 402 Sul deixou muito a desejar. Entrei em contato para fazer uma encomenda de Natal. A divulgação informava claramente que as encomendas de Natal poderiam ser feitas até o dia 20/12, sem especificar horário. Somente depois fui informada que o prazo havia encerrado às 12h, informação que não constava na divulgação. Após eu questionar essa falha de comunicação, o atendente informou que eu poderia pedir normalmente pelo cardápio tradicional. Solicitei então um bacalhau na nata, mas não obtive mais nenhuma resposta, mesmo após novas tentativas de contato. Achei a situação bastante frustrante, principalmente por se tratar de um restaurante tão conceituado. A falta de clareza nas informações e a interrupção do atendimento após uma reclamação são pontos que precisam ser revistos com urgência. Espero que o restaurante melhore o atendimento digital, pois a experiência via WhatsApp não condiz com a qualidade que o Dom Francisco entrega à mesa.
