We had a wonderful stay at Doma Hotel! Waking up to the sea view every morning was such a peaceful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were unbelievably sweet – truly the highlight of our stay. Every day they helped us find taxis without hesitation, always with a smile. The breakfast was also lovely, and the ladies working there were especially kind and warm. The location is also perfect – just a beautiful 10-minute walk along the seaside takes you right into the center of Chania. We’re so grateful to everyone at the hotel – thank you for making our trip to Crete even more special!

Just walked in by accident cause i was actually looking for a hotel in the old town... and stayed for a week May 15-22 , 2024 on the top floor/ penthouse if you will. Magnificent 270 degree view from the top terrace overlooking the old harbor/city/bay & mountains. As i sat in the middle of the three rooms looking around with the view on the mediterranean sea i was imagining where to put my secretaire bookcase and other furniture...! Got to meet both the Koutsoudakis sisters (Owners of the Hotel) on one lovely evening, who i understand today that they sadly both passed away this week. They gave me the little booklet of the Hotel and the impressive story of their lives from early childhood on.. If you look for a historical place to stay this is it!

I stayed five days in the Doma Hotel in Chania. The hotel is a historical building that is well located and it offers absolutely stunning views. It is just ten minutes walk from the city center or from the marine. Moreover, the people that work here made my stay memorable and very pleasant. The staff supported me with all my necessary bookings, plans. I felt I was staying with my local friends that would go to the moon and back to make your stay fantastic. Thank you so much!

LOVED Doma Hotel. Beautiful antique vibe. Perfect location, just steps away from the beach and a 15 min walk to old town. Delicious buffet breakfast. Nicest staff ever - I had a misunderstanding when booking a standard room, I hadn’t realized that some of the rooms are two twin beds while others are one double bed and it’s luck of the draw when you check in which bed setup you will get. I explained my confusion and asked if there was any way they could move my husband and I to a room with one bed. They went above and beyond to accommodate us by upgrading our room. Stellar customer service!!!

Gorgeous boutique hotel that offers a bit of Cretan history and stunning views. The hosts and staff are very accommodating, and can help book taxis or one-day trips. The room had both a fan and air conditioning (convenient considering the summer temps), room service and cleaning was very thorough.

I stayed only one night at this hotel, but it was a great experience. The hotel oozes local ambience, history and culture. Breakfast is served in a wonderful spacious room with a vast view of the bay area and mountains further away, and the selection of food and drink is excellent, including freshly pressed orange juice, specially served to you. The personel is very kind and you quickly sense that they want you to feel comfortable. Ask them for recommendations, I'm sure you'll be spoiled with choice. They would help you with transport to the airport, extra coffee, and what not. I was fortunate to get a room facing the garden (and not the street in front of the hotel, which is a bit busy). It was very clean and cozy. If you want to spend some days in a minor hotel with lots of atmosphere a bit away from the most touristic places, I highly recommend choosing this one. Thank you!

This hotel is very charming and on the edge comfy and breakfasts are excellent. It is not suitable for people wanting a beach holiday however. There is a bus that takes you to the Akrotiri Peninsula and it is about 25 mins to walk right round the harbour to bars and restaurants and shops. There is a supermarket nearby and the excellent new museum is in walking distance. Very nice friendly and helpful staff.

Be very careful if you have a problems with a sleeping, because this hotel is on the loudest road ever. You will listen while big busses which is going to airport and very noisy motorcycles. Definitely, not recommend to stay in a seawiev room. It’s really loud and I was stressed for whole 2 days of my staying. But, personal which working there are amazing and very friendly.
