We had a lovely four course meal in this charming castle. The food was simple, but perfect and creative, the main ingredients really are the star of the dish. Tasty wines and champagne. Excellent service. A lovely night out!

Good dinner, but at €168 for 2 (with a bottle of wine) it should be. Room was pleasant, but definitely missing some finishing touches, which made it awkward and uncomfortable to stay in. Some aspects of the outside areas were scruffy with weeds and some bits of litter. I get the impression that the place is managed by a team who are OK with mediocrity. The one exception to this is the quality of food served at dinner. Breakfast was simple and modest. Overall, disappointed and unlikely to return.

We had a lovely stay in the Chateau, very peaceful and not far from the motorway to give us a break from our long journey. The restaurant food was fabulous, beautiful flavours and presentation. The staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast very tasty. A beautiful stay . Well recommended

A beautiful compact chateau in its own secluded grounds. Large suite...with interesting layout but fantastic views. Decouverte menu was delicious and service polite and understated. Breakfast adequate Thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the outskirts of beautiful Laon...which is definitely worth a visit while staying

lovely location, quiet, great food & helpful staff. Unfortunately we shared our bedroom with 4 bats, we could not get a different room so the young staff removed 3 of the bats but one remained elusive. We put in a formal complaint and are still waiting for a response from the also elusive manager. The onsite staff did all that they could to help and now it is up to the management to do the same.

We were in Marie, the tower room. It has a mini tower on the battlements where you can sit out on the roof. There was a minor fault with the hot tub but otherwise it's a breathtaking place. Breakfast good but portions limited.

After a frustrating start (our fault - we failed to read the notice on our booking confirmation that reception is closed between 3pm and 5pm……seems a bizarre time to close reception but they did warn us in advance), we grew to really like this place. It is a great restaurant with a few rooms attached rather than a hotel with a great restaurant. It appeals to both local romantics able to avoid a drive home after a good meal, and to guests like us seeking a overnight stop on a long journey. Our room (phaney) was amazing value for money - two large bedrooms, a huge bathroom, and an enormous terrace with hot tub in total privacy, with a super view of the gardens and beyond. The restaurant served an immaculate meal, and adapted the menu with no fuss to my wife’s lactose intolerance. The staff all had the same “ what can we do for you” attitude. We really recommend this place

Our second visit to the Chateau this year. Staff are kind, helpful, smart & polite. Room Rosa immaculate on both occasions. Restaurant a relaxing & enjoyable experience, silver service & beautifully presented food, delighting both the eye & the taste buds! Last but not least, location is totally peaceful - surrounded by gardens & wildlife areas, soothing to the soul!
