Domaine de Chalamon

This property is just amazing. A treasure in this region and the most charming, welcoming, and beautiful place. The château is very clean, the staff is wonderful, and our stay was magical.

Beautiful peaceful chateau in the countryside just outside St Remy. Great pool, very comfortable beds. Although not fully up and running yet as a full hotel (evening restaurant closed) the staff were SO nice and helpful and gave the place a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Breakfast was extensive and very good. Nice homemade food available for light lunches. We stayed for our honeymoon and we’re given a bottle of fizz on arrival to celebrate. Special thanks to Joris for helping making our time there so lovely!

Wonderful chambre d’hôtes, another gem in the Domaines de Fontenille collection. The property is grandiose, with a magnificent park, pool (this pool !!!), garden, and massive plane trees - no doubt you’re in Provence. Inside the mansion, and the room, every object has been obviously selected with the best taste, you just feel at home, everywhere here. Special kuddos to the management and service team, each one of them is so kind and professional. We had a fabulous experience here, relaxing, enjoying every bit. Breakfast is opulent and tasty, and while the restaurant was closed « for administrative reasons » (shall the mayor’s office understand what Chalamon is adding up to the charm of Saint-Remy-de-Provence ?), we could enjoy some light food at any moment. We can’t wait coming back here and see a full-scale hotel operating !!!

A beautiful beautiful place! We loved the privacy. The pool was refreshing and the garden around it is just stunning! Tennis in the morning was just what we needed and there were bicycles too. Now- the ‘house’. Stunningly beautiful, renovated with great style. We’ve enjoyed playing games in the ‘living room’ and loved our suite with a bath. We couldn’t take our eyes off the building and a beautiful area in front of it. Orangerie is super pretty and next time we will be staying there! Food was to die for and all kudos to the chef! Staff were phenomenal and we feel massively grateful to Stephanie, Sacha, Nicola, Jessica and all the others ❤️. We will be back!
