Domaine de Peretti della Rocca

Last August, while on holiday in Corsica with a group of friends, I visited the cellar of Domaine Peretti della Rocca. On that occasion, I purchased a bottle of Colette – Corte dei Figari 2023. Unfortunately, when the bottle was opened, the wine was clearly oxidized and reduced, making it completely undrinkable. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering the quality I expected and the price paid for the wine. I regret this experience, as I had very positive expectations following the visit to your cellar. I am writing to inform you of the issue and to kindly ask whether you could offer an explanation or a gesture of goodwill, such as a replacement or refund.

we booked a table at the restaurant and had an excellent meal. the staff were very friendly and helpful explaining all the dishes in English. the view from the restaurant across the vineyards is amazing and the home produced wines are very good. highly recommend.

Above and beyond any expectation! Rooms are beautifully decorated down to the tiniest detail,the staff is friendly,helpful and not intrusive. The views are just amazing over the sprawling vineyards and the restaurant is absolutely worth a visit,dishes are tasty,healthy and prepared with care and love. The location is conveniently near shops and beaches. Will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful domaine, spending one night and enjoying dinner at their restaurant. The decor of the house and rooms is truly tasteful. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, always taking the time to assist you. The highlight for me was the restaurant. We absolutely loved the food, especially the "tartare de veau," which was unlike anything I've ever had elsewhere. The staff take the time to explain each dish and can perfectly describe their own wines to help you choose the right one. The breakfast was good enough 👍🏼

The place is marvellous but the wines are mediocre and the cuisine absolutely embarrassing (such as the Ratatouille with tasteless vegetables and unpresentable raw white egg and the gnocchi as hard as stones, plus a platter of cold meats and cheeses for the cost of 39€!!!). They want to think of themselves as a classy place but apart from the location there is nothing else.

A lovely hotel in a very nice environment. The place is designed in a lovely way into the last details, the view is perfect, the atmosphere is hostile and very friendly. Unfortunately, the extra payment (25€ pP) for breakfast is ridiculously high.

We stayed for two nights in July at Domaine de Peretti della Rocca and we enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The domaine itself is located in a very quiet area, surrounded by endless vineyards. The property is peaceful, very well taken care of and is the perfect place to get away from crowds, traffic and just switch off and relax. The location of the domaine is perfect as it is only ~20mins away by car from Porto-Vecchio, ~25 mins away from Bonifacio and is close to beautiful beaches, such as Rocappina (only one of many as there are countless bays and beaches in the area). The main house in which we stayed has a smart and modern design that has touches that connect to its natural surroundings. The common area is equipped with comfortable sofas and a big rustic table. The gorgeous pool offers a great view at both the vineyards and the green hills around. Both the breakfast and dinner are served at the pool. The food at dinner was delicious and was fairly priced. One of the highlights was the wine! We tried 3 or 4 different wines and all were great! We especially enjoyed the blanc Jules. We stayed in the room Jean-Baptiste which is lovely decorated, has a great wide window right above the bed with a great view to the mountains. The bathroom is big and comfortable, there is also a separate walk-in wardrobe to store your luggage. The small terrace is ideal for enjoying the calm and warm evenings. What made our stay special was also the welcoming of the hosts. Both Hugo and Florian were very kind and helpful. We are very greatful to Florian for the great recommendations about the surrounding beaches, hikes and sights and for telling us about the owner's family and the estate and their proud and rich history. In general the communication was very easy-going but professinal and made us feel welcomed. I can only recommend the Domaine de Peretti della Rocca and will be more than happy to come back next time on Corsica!

Came here for the most amazing brunch and left with some bottles of white wine.
