Domaine Lumineux Tasting Room

I love the vineyard property so much that I actually vowed to wait for its reopening vs. visiting the Newberg tasting room. The vineyard's energy & scenery really is that magical. But a couple weekends ago my cousin invited me to the Newberg house tasting room. Cute historic house on the outside, GLAMOROUS on the inside! From the moment we arrived (parked) Jack opened the door for us, & had wine in our hands before we even walked through the door! My cousin was soooo excited he couldn't contain his laugh! I wish I had my camera out to film it...because it was a royal welcome!!! Magical, truly! I've visited a lot of wineries, Michelin Star restaurants, 5 star hotels, but I've never been greeted like that! With Jack's wine knowledge and Dawn's ability to elevate a wine lover's experience, this team will keep many of us loyal to these delicious wines coming back, and following them no matter where the tasting room is. Above & beyond is the best way to put it. With a wide range of wines that can please young or mature palates and preferences, Dom. Lumineux can't be kept Oregon's secret anymore. Dawn, thanks for letting us taste outside the menu; you made sure I found my summer go-to Chardonnay for all my favorite grilled seafoods! On that note, thank you for the important food pairings. For me and my friends wine is a huge part of making a meal (or date) extraordinary!!!!! The right food pairing can change any wine lover's mind! I'll be back for the rest of that Chardonnay 🥰😁! P.S. your new tasting home is gorgeous!!! The interior design is a subtle nod to casual glamour. High end, high quality comfort that's approachable. Just like your wines.

We really enjoyed our visit to the tasting room, and sampled the mixed flight, of which we were inclined to buy 3 of the 5 that we sampled. The room Is very nice, but I was hoping for more Coppola memorabilia like at Inglenook or Geyserville. It is cool that they play records and you can choose the playlist, which makes things fun. While we appreciated the knowledge that was shared about the wines, we would have preferred less of a wait between pours, as there was no one else there at the time.

Was in town and want to try some wine and this place was perfect. Me and my husband had shared a flight and the staff was amazing. Great conversation and great wine!

We went there for the Uncommon Wines Festival, which was awesome. Then we went to the tasting room and purchased two flights. I know the staff was very busy that day. It was a bit disappointing to not be given much, if any, details or attention from the staff. We loved the view and setting. I know we will go back and try their wines on a day they aren’t as busy. Maybe it will give us a chance to learn more about their wines. We loved the Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Sonoma County, so hopefully they’ll bring more of that vibe to Oregon as they settle in.

3 of us celebrating a very sad time and just enjoying each other's company for the last time today for a while. We were greeted by Dawn at the entrance with 3 glasses of delicious Rose. Dawn made the experience extra special. Customer service was exceptional. The tasting room was beautiful. The wine was excellent. A tasting room is only as good as it's people and Dawn was good people. We will return. Tell Francis we said hi.

I finally found this place! This location used to be a great restaurant that moved, but the wine tasting room used to be Domaine de Broglie which caught fire, they moved the tasting to McMinnville, but now it is back with a new name in a new, closer-in, location. Dawn hosted us and was an amazing resource walking us through their selections. highly recommended, friendly and a great experience. I will be bringing out of town friends regularly.

Just finished a tasting at the new Domaine Lumineux tasting room in downtown Newberg and had a great experience! Beautiful renovated space that kept the historic charm, great Pinots, records and vibes. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a wondering experiencing tasting a Domaine Lumineux. The staff is absolutely fantastic, they are warm, friendly and inviting. They made us feel as if we were tasting at home with friends at a dinner party! The tasting room is decorated with beautiful furnishing that fits perfectly with the vibe. As for the wines, the standouts to for me were: -2019 Cuvée Pinot Noir (beautiful berry notes with a hint of chocolate) I can see it paring perfectly with a nice cut of steak. -Pinot Gris- this was crisp, fresh and very drinkable, perfect for a sunny afternoon. -sparkling rose- hints of berries and oh so refreshing I HIGHLY recommend this winery if you are looking for great wine, great service and a relaxing/inviting atmosphere! Their patio is also dog friendly!

Wonderful wines, friendly and knowledgeable staff, plus a beautiful tasting room. What more can one ask for. I look forward to our next visit.
