Domaine Steinbach - Cidery / Cottage / Orchard

Went for a tasting on a cold, wintry day. The hostess was delightful and full of good humor. Left with a warm feeling and a few bottles of hard cider. Bravo!

We chose Domaine Steinbach as our base for exploring I'lle d' Orleans. It's easily accessible and the drop-box check in was relatively straightforward although I would recommend arriving during operating hours to be on the safe side. Breakfast was quite nice, the room was comfortable, and noise was not a problem. We also visited the adjoining cider business and were presented with a wide variety of alcoholic ciders. To be honest, I was not aware that there was such a diversity in hard ciders but the many visitors appeared to be quite pleased with the sampling boards which were on offer. There's also a nice view of the orchard and the north shore of the St Lawrence from the tasing area.

Lovely cidery with gorgeous views of the river and their apple orchard. The owner was super friendly and happy to offer samples and suggestions. They even had some all natural apple juice for kids.

The server was really friendly and gave us a tour of all the different kinds of cider. She gave it in french (great practice for us) then English again for another group. The cider was so good. They have one that tastes like maple syrup, but I recommend the one that tastes like Cassis. Very unique. (Also a fabulous view!) Enjoy!

This was 1st on our tasting of l’Ile d’Orleans ciders. A breathtaking calming location to sit back and sample of flight of ciders. Choose between a glass or a flight of 5 or 6 ciders. You get an info card to learn about your choices. You can also stop in its small shop and pick up the makings of a picnic basket. Service was welcoming and efficient.

My stay at Domains Steinbach was excellent. The cider was great, my room was cozy, the views were fantastic and the service was on point. Definitely recommend.

Beautifully maintained grounds, clean and rustic rooms and common main areas. Surprisingly peaceful with stunning views of the Saint-Laurence.

My wife and I stayed here for 1 night and had an incredible experience! The rooms are so nice and the common areas as well. The back porch provides an incredible view of the river for sunset! The breakfast is amazing. We had to leave early the next morning and the host had out breakfast laid out early for our departure which was so kind. Thank you!
