Domaine Philippe & Sylvain Ravier

What a fantastic experience we had today! Very welcoming atmosphere and a brilliant vine expert Axel who was very knowledgeable, with a great sense of humour. Would definitely go back if in this region of France 🇫🇷!

We loved this amazing tasting with Axel! He gave us a great lesson on the area's wine history and the tasting was perfect with Axel's explanation on every part of the tasting! It was clear he was proud of his winery and his village! We so appreciated everything and left with 7 bottles of wine!

After an fantastic 4 days in Galabier Valloire of snowboarding, we decided to pay the winery Philippe er Sylvain a visit. It was low season but that contributed to perfect and friendly service. After having tasted a couple of wines we headed home with two boxes of delicious wine from a very charming Vineyard. I highly recommend a visit if it’s on route.

We cycled in the rain and showed up soaking wet. We were met with the warmest hospitality imaginable. They offered us espressos as we waited for a tasting and tour and made us feel completely at home. The only thing better than the hospitality was the wines. They have a delicious selection and the tour guide was so knowledgeable about the entire process and spoke impeccable English. If 6 stars was an option, we’d give them 6.

The hostess (I didn't catch her name!) was extremely kind and accommodating, gave a wonderful your of the vats and the property, and explained in detail each of the wines as I tasted them. It's a wonderful business (with incredible wines!) in Savoy and I will surely be back. C'était une expérience incroyable! Vous étiez très gentille et informative pour ce jeune canadien. Visité le samedi 20/09. Un magnifique domaine avec un très bon accueil. C'est en dégustant les vins Ravier que l'on se rend compte qu'il y a des pépites encore méconnues en Savoie et que c'est une terre de grands vins ! Le pinot noir et le Chardonnay vieillis en fût de chêne sont absolument remarquables et valent de nombreux Bourgogne. Et en prime, la propriétaire nous a fait visiter la cave. Si vous souhaiter visiter le vignoble de savoie, le Domaine Ravier est incontournable.

Accueil très sympathique dégustation bien argumenté vaste gammes de vins pour trouver celui qui nous convient le mieux. Bonne fourchette de prix . Très satisfait de mes achats. Je recommande vivement
