Domaine Zind-Humbrecht

What a gorgeous spot & such special wines! Lena was incredibly knowledgeable & was so generous in sharing each wine. She patiently answered each question & we learned so much. We tasted 9 delicious wines in about an hour. We would highly recommend booking a tour! Merci beaucoup! (Also, Turckheim is an adorable town to stop for lunch!)

Zind-Humbrecht might be a bit more complicated to visit than most other Alsatian vineyards, but it is absolutely worth it. We had a great tasting with Alice, who was complex, well-structured and elegant in her commentary, just like the wines of Zind-Humbrecht. It was a more exclusive and in-depth experience for a smaller number of people, which was enjoyable in its own way. The grounds around the winery are very picturesque - we had a pleasant stroll to Turckheim.

the person doing the tasting was very knowledgeable and we did enjoy our experience, however this tasting is 25 Eur a person with no additional tour, we did purchase a bottle and they only charged for 1 tasting but there is much better value around the area. This was the only one that charged for a tasting out of the 5 other wineries we visited in the area.

Alsace Pinot Gris "Clos Windsbuhl" 2016 - Domaine Zind-Humbrecht Marvelous!🎀💗🎀 This wonderful wine from this incredible Domaine reflects the love, craftsmanship and "naturalness" of how it is treated.🌟🌟🌟 Crystal clear, persistent, very balanced, intense. An incredible pleasure to drink it!💕🔥 (we drank with Scottish smoked salmon, foie gras, and Parma prosciutto crudo and it was divine!😍).

Amazing wines, it was incredibly kind of those at Zind-Humbrecht to make some time for a tasting. Be sure to book in advance. Nice to finally taste some of the best wines from Alsace.

Slightly more formal feel than most family wineries in the area but well worth the paid tasting here to get familiar with the top tier of Alsatian wines - the best we had our entire trip. Also nice because it’s one of the only wineries where the winemaking and tasting rooms take place onsite surrounded by the vineyards.

Be sure to make an appointment for tasting. Despite biking to their winery, and being 11:30 where no one else was tasting, they didn’t accommodate us. Most other wineries were kind enough to allow a short tasting. Company policy I guess. Sad because we heard so much about them.

Simply amazing!!! Great variety of wines that can be enjoyed now or for decades to come. Delicious rieslings to tasty pinot gris...Zind Humbrecht has it all. You cannot just pick one bottle; you will fall in love with many.
