Dombås Hotel

The nice Dombås hotel is located on the westside of downtown Dombås. The hotel consist of two parts that are connected, one from the 1970s and the other one from 2014. In total the hotel has 99 rooms. In addition to the hotel there is also a motel, Dombåstun. The motel is located about 200-300 meters behind the hotel with rooms that were renovated in 2018. In the motel there is wifi and each room has it's own private bathroom. The hotel is within walking distance of the village center. And located in a rural area, good rooms, with good beds and varied breakfast. We also stayed here one night. This hotel has as facilities: a Gym - Sauna - Bar -and Tv premier league. We were very satisfied with this accommodation, it is worth recommending.

We stayed two nights at this hotel. The rate is very good. Our room does not have a view but is very clean. Breakfast is included, dinner is of great value if you stay in the hotel. We also used the sauna after a long hike, which was great!|There are several routes for short hikes while we wait for train the next day.

The junior suite (loft) is well worth the price. The view is amazing so as the bed’s comfort. I would stay here again if I were to travel in this direction

The room was quite big, but there was not very much furniture. Looked boring. However; it had beds, and a big bathroom. Nothing to complain about! ||The staff are next level! We had arrived a night early, and they did so much to help us. Had a booking from booking.com, they told us to cancel the reservation for the next day and fixed is a room. No charges! This is service! ||This place is a new favourite of mine! |10/10 would recommend ||

Great hotel, good service at all hours. Coffee and tea available for guests at all times, no charge. Good breakfast and excellent dinner buffet. Rooms we had were nice and spacious, only small complaint is the placing of the towel rack as you can't really reach it from the shower, and the lack of a clothes line. And our first floor room had a "view" to the loading area for the hotel kitchen. But those are very minor things, and we were very happy with our stay!

When writing reviews, we always use the room pricing as a general foundation for our opinion, not seasonal or theme based. What we found is that this is a 90% winter hotel. That means the summer experience will most likely be lower because of the season. There were few guests and we feel everything could be a bit better. With that said, this is a place to sleep in the summer and probably stay and enjoy in the winter. Accommodations suggest that it’s a family friendly hotel for weekend family ski trips. It’s light and spacious, with loads of places to sit down. Beds are nice and for the price everything is ok.

Nice renovated rooms, very good breakfast and dinner buffet, helpful staff. It was a perfect choice for a night stop driving up north 👍

We stayed in two rooms - the Presidential Suite and a Superior Double Room with Loft (both on the 3rd floor - with an elevator). Both rooms had two stories. The Presidential Suite had a very large bath. Breakfast was good (but not great). There's a large parking lot. The hotel is very quiet. It's located a few minutes walk from a shopping center.
