This place is super cute. Although, unless you are there for the weekend afternoon tea, seating is very limited. It was great when I was there in the sunshine out front and I met a very cute whippet. I had sourdough toast with goats cheese, quince, lavender and pistachio nuts (menu said apricots though and didn't mention walnuts.) The portion was huge, I couldn't eat it all. Loaded with flavour and the lady sitting next to me both thought it tasted great. She was struggling because being sourdough, the crust was very tough to cut. My iced coffee was also good. The two high tea rooms upstairs were amazing. Such details, original fixtures, luxurious settings. I would definitely go back for high to experience that. In the main store area are all types of cakes and sweets. So much to see. Next time in Antwerp I'm going to try and go again.

After reading the comments here, our expectations were high. So my comment is a relative one, not compared to what is available in Antwerp in general (they may be much better, can not judge). The croissants were not crisp, neither the éclair has the best consistency. Bread is OK for sourdough but could be much better. Little to no air bubbles inside, not a firm crust. Maybe we were unlucky...

I love their almond croissants or almond pain au chocolates! It’s in a nice area too, great to combine with some shopping in a weekend! Coffee tastes good too!

I entered after finding the place on google maps and wanting to try something new for a coffee. While the upstairs did look nice, it was closed off for high tea. Instead I had to sit in an area in the back, where the kitchen was. While I was okey with it at first, the dynamic was just not relaxing. The working are obviously working in the kitchen and even washing dishes sometimes, so i was a bit disappointed.

Lovely experience. No English tea offered. Excellent selection of high tea treats, both savory and sweet

We really enjoyed the high tea in this lovely tea-room/bakery. It is situated in a beautiful old charming house in a cozy shopping area of Antwerp, The food was delicious and fresh, and the amount was surely sufficient for the 4 of us (we were 2 couples, and each couple got a 3-level pastry tower). One of us didn't eat meat, and the owner immediately offered lovely replacements. Teas and coffees were served continously, and they served several types of teas. I gave 4 stars for the food as I found the scones a bit dry and hard, but they were still very good. Our waitress, Isabelle, was really attentive and didn't miss a single empty cup. She was really polite and friendly. Thank you so much for the lovely service! One less positive point: not everybody can sit on a comfortable sofa. The outer sitting places are poufs without back support. Not really easy for people with back problems. However, if you ask, they can provide a comfy chair with a back support. We will definitely go back here to enjoy another high tea. Thank you to the owners, and to Isabelle for the lovely experience!
