A truly magical place, perfect setting, immaculate decor, not the usual traditional French Corsican style but a hotel that wins the prize for architecture, design and service. |We came for three nights, not knowing that we were checking out on the very last day before it closed for the season. The staff are friendly and courteous. Thank you to the Priscilla and the team at reception and breakfast. The recommendations for dinner in Corte were just perfect. And I really enjoyed our stay everyone in the town was lovely and so friendly. |We hired the electric mountain bikes for the day and rode up the valley Restonica to see where the bridge was washed away almost a year ago. Grest scenery and very few cars as it was the very end of the season. The hotel organised this for us seamlessly with just a days notice and the bikes were ready for us first thing the next day. The location is perfect as it is just at the entrance to the valley. And also good for hiking. |If you love the great outdoors, peace and quiet and appreciate staying somewhere that would feature in Architectural digest and also loves kids this is it. It’s a gem.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The setting is stunning, it feels like you are right in the middle of nature. The sound of the river is soothing (it had rained the day before we stayed in Oct so the river was full of life). Everything is clean, to a high standard, and the reception staff and owner are very welcoming and friendly. Can't wait to come back.

If I could, I would give this six stars! This beautiful, luxurious hotel is a short way out of Corte. It has ample parking and the staff go out of their way to be welcoming. It feels very private. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the small gorge and stream that flowed by. The room was spotless and very quiet and comfortable. It was a short walk into town. The grounds are beautiful and the trees are colorfully lit up at night. There is a small bar that is well stocked. The whole experience made us feel pampered and comfortable. I highly recommend this special property!

This place is a gem. We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. This place has it all: zen, peaceful, sophisticated, comfortable, it is located on a stunning river amidst wonderful nature. The staff is very professional and discrete. ||The pool, overlooking the river. is beautiful too. The massage room was built as a luxurious tree house by the pool. I was honestly blown away by this experience. This place made me think of a mini version of Aman resorts, where elegance and nature are their trademark.||The room, although nice, could jn my mind receive some extra attention. It didn’t affect our experience though and I wish I could have stayed a whole week and would definitely love to go back to this magical place. ||Last, some of the pictures shown on this app are not up to date and include photos of the hotel next door that belongs to a family member but didn’t go thru the same updates/upgrades.

Fabulous stay in the Restonica Valley. A unique location with a fabulous pool setting alongside the river. Great help from Michaela and Natalie. Rooms are good and comfortable and breakfast is awesome on the patio. No dinner service is provided, so you need to drive to the village of Corte. Restaurants are typically rustic but good

Where to start.... a little bit of "Zen Heaven"... well that is a prelude to how you will feel if you commit a few days to Dominique Colonna. Located on the Tavignano River, this property is the ideal marriage of design,comfort, quiet sophistication plus an amazing staff.|The rooms are warmly accessorized amidst building materials of the earth. Tile, wood, stone and the evolving wealth of the surrounding forest. I guarantee you will find yourself exploring with an ever widening smile. Breakfast is remarkable with so many beautiful options all lovingly and locally sourced- a great start to any day. Corte also offers opportunities to investigate but trust those stars at the front desk are well versed to head you in the right direction or make dinner reservations at "a Casuccia" or "U Museu" both excellent choices.|Many many thank-yous to Natalie, Presley, Elianna and everyone in the kitchen.|I wish we were there right now.

Fantastic hotel! We stayed here for three nights in May 2024. We absolutely loved it. The rooms, the location, the surroundings, the breakfast, the bar, the restaurant in the other hotel, right across from this one (Auberge Restronica), the interaction with the staff - everything was simply wonderful. We had a room with a view of the river. It was so nice sitting on the balcony and just looking at the beautiful surroundings. The pool was great and well appreciated after a long day of hiking (Gorge Tavignano.) We had some logistical problems (nothing to do with the hotel) and the staff went out of their way to try and help us. It was not cheap, but what we got for what we paid was outstanding. Quality place, and Nathalie (not sure if she's the owner or the manager) was very cool.

Definitely recommend this place for a relaxing vaccination next to the nature. The river is accessible from the hotel and you should explore it as far as you want. It is a beautiful exploration. The rooms and the hotel perfectly merge with the environment around it with many places to rest, read or have a drink. The rooms were clean and had an amazing view. Extra points for the amazing breakfast and one of the best massages I had. Would definitely recommend booking massage if you can!
