AMAZING. I had low low expectations but wow it exceeded. I had been in Utrecht sooo many times and I had no idea about this story. Also the tour guides are incredible. 1000000% recommend

I'm a history nerd, but I really enjoyed this DOMunder. You get to see the remnants of the city centre from its foundation as a Roman border fort to the construction of the current cathedral, with everything in between. Worth the (reasonable) price!

The tour was a unique and immersive historical experience; exploring the caves with flashlights was a true highlight. I also like to thank the reception staff for giving clear directions to the meeting point. However, I felt somewhat excluded at the very beginning of the tour. The guide asked everyone "Where are you from?" except for me—the only Asian in the group. For most of the tour, the guide also avoided eye contact with me. With only 5–7 people in the group, this lack of interaction was very noticeable. As everyone pays the same fee, I believe every guest deserves equal engagement. Overall, I still recommend this tour for the unique experience. I trust this was unintentional and hope my feedback can help improve the experience for future visitors.

We had a great visit with a fantastische guide! Jan told is lots, had answers to all the questions we asked. He’s a great storyteller and speaks English fluently. Great to do, also with kids! Our children, 11, 8 and 6 loved it. Especially the part with the lamps :-)

It's a really good experience if you want to learn about the history of Utrecht from the very begging and you truely get to the bottom of the city. The guided tour was amazing and later the interactive experience with the flashlight and the beautiful graphics on the walls were a unique experience that I would recommend for all ages.

Great family tour to find out about Utrecht’s history! We loved chasing the microchips with the special lamps to hear the explanations.

our tourguide was really nice but its honestly not that worth it, you find out quite a bit about the history of the city but nothing too into detail. the excavation site is disappointing and not that big, though i found finding the little audio cues in the dark to be a very fun game. overall not really worth your money or time
