Domus 26 Guesthouse - B&B

We stayed for just 1 night at this adorable and immaculate B&B, but I would have loved to stay longer. The location is perfect and it is incredibly clean, nicely decorated with some homey touches, but modern and with everything you could need or want. The host/owner and her helper Valeria were incredibly lovely, helpful and kind. But not intrusive in any way. The large bedrooms were comfortable and clean with nice touches and the perfect amount of beautiful decorations. ||We opted to pay for the breakfast which was delicious and the best bargain in Portugal. A huge spread with everything you could want for breakfast- even fresh squeezed orange juice. Don't miss the "fresh cheese" and home made cake- which was delicious!

We only spent 1 night at this adorable and immaculate B&B. But I would.have happily stayed much longer. It is the perfect location for exploring Braga. Only a block from everything there is to see and do in town. The staff (Valeria) and the owner were incredibly lovely, helpful.and friendly.they even helped us find a street parking space for our rental car. Every room was cuter than the last, with many thoughtful and beautiful details. And SO clean. And the price was a great deal! We paid for the breakfast which was delicious and such an amazing value. Definitely get the breakfast!

I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful, stunning home for four wonderful nights, and it did not disappoint. Domus 26 exceeded every expectation and by far was my best stay in Portugal. The rooms are spacious with big, beautiful windows, the beds are very comfortable, and the home was spotless. The breakfast was fresh, healthy, and delicious with a good assortment to choose from. Loved the nice touch from Rita to bake her delicious cakes. The home is in a perfect location – all within walking distance is the train station, bus stop, the Se, restaurants, and cafés. Rita, her daughter, and Valeria were all very hospitable, kind, and helpful – they made me feel special and I know they will do the same for you. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable. I highly recommend Domus 26 - will definitely stay again.

Great view of cathedral. Very gracious and accommodating. Room we had was very spacious and well appointed. Parking can be a problem. It's free during the night but must pay after 9 a.m. and you can park for only an hour. There is a garage farther into city. Definitely the place to stay!

Amazing guest house in an incredible location! We were so lucky that they had a cancellation, so we could stay. Excellent pre-arrival communication, a warm welcome on arrival, quick uncomplicated check in, and then shown into a large, immaculately clean, and deliciously cool room. Great care has been taken with every detail, from cold water waiting in the fridge in the room, to crisp linen on the bed, and nice products to use in the bathroom. Conceição was very helpful and friendly, offering us information about where to go to eat that evening. The bed was large and very comfortable and the air conditioner machine was almost silent, so we slept exceptionally well. Valeria, who served our breakfast, was an absolute delight. Nothing was overlooked. The breakfast was generous and freshly made, and they were even able to offer a plant milk rather than cow. Truly an absolute gem of a guest house and one I would recommend without hesitation. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

We only spent one night here but we could only say nice things about this guesthouse. The location, the friendly host and her family, the wonderful breakfast. It is just a minute walk to restaurants, bars, shopping streets and the Se. They use very good materials for the house - reflects their love to the place and hospitality. Light and sound are totally shut out of the room when properly closed. We were delighted. We think this is the best place to stay in Braga. Parking is available. if you let the host know you need a parking, they would help as much as they would.

Domus 26 is a beautiful property with a great location in Braga. It faces the cathedral on the edge of the historic center. It's also a quick walk from the train station. The host was very friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is modern and well appointed. We highly recommend this as a place to stay when visiting Braga.

A delightful place to explore ancient Braga - with the friendliest welcome, super large rooms, and great shared space too. A real find - where nothing seemed too much trouble, with an abundance of helpful advice and encouragement to make the most of our stay. Just brilliant!
