Booked for 3 nights at end September based on Trip Advisor reviews. Previous trips to Prague have been limited to Pankrac, so I had no real idea of the geography althouhgh I knew the public transport was great. Plus points of location; historic area, proximity to the castle, 5 mins to tram 22 which takes you to whicever side of the river you want to be. Also an easy walk down to Mala Stranska if you prefer. Choice of restaurants within easy walk (see other reviews; some may be tourist traps).||||The hotel itself is an historic building. It is the antithesis of the modern chain hotel and ozzes character. We had a deluxe room for 2 nights then a standard for one. Both were fine; de luxe room was massive with beautiful view over to Petrin hill. Beds look a bit spartan but are comfortable (I have a back problem so know of what I speak). Quite a few stairs to navigate so probably not for the mobility impaired. Breakfast plain but good with a real focus on the quality of the coffee. ||||Two minor points: Wifi was a bit patchy and rather slow (just downloading emails, not streaming a movie). In room safe too small for event my small laptop; it was just big enough to accomodate my iPad.||||Friendly and helpful staff; if you have any queries just call. All speak excellent English if that is your preferred language.||||Would happily stay again.

Just had a 4 night stay at this lovely little hotel. We where greeted on arrival at airport which we had pre booked and taken straight to the hotel. When we got to the hotel we where shown to our room, and what a room it was, spacious and comfortable with a lovely view overlooking petrin tower. The room was well equipped with a reasonably priced mini bar and towels and toiletries replenished frequently.||Breakfast was somewhat limited but they doing the best they can under these circumstances. All the staff where really friendly and helpful.||It is conveniently located for Prague castle and monastery and transport, within a few minutes walk there is some lovely bars and restaurants.

A wonderful small hotel ideally located in the Castle district of Prague. A spacious, clean, comfortable, and quiet room with beautiful views from the patio. A more than ample breakfast buffet is provided. All of the reception staff and Milan, the driver are so friendly and helpful and made me feel very welcome. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return some day.

Beautiful rooms in a small boutique hotel (only 8 rooms). Lovely continental breakfast to set you up for the day and 24 hour helpful reception desk. Very close to the castle, Perrin Hill and Staradhov monestary, so easy to have a leisurely breakfast and still get there in time to avoid the crowds. Best of both worlds really as quiet in the evening but with nice local restaurants nearby. 10 minute walk to Charles Bridge which includes a nice shopping street but do be aware that it’s uphill on the way back so you’ll work off any excesses with the cake! Staff are super helpful and will arrange private transport to and from the airport. Would highly recommend this hotel if you like to be near the action but not in the middle of it.

I keep coming back here because the staff is really good and the rooms are nice with large bathrooms and comfortable amenities. The breakfast in the morning offers good choices and a great way to start your day. ||||I also use the airport to hotel car service. The driver is friendly and professional. He knows all the best ways and is a really good driver.||||The location is just up hill from the castle and has a number of sites close by. I also enjoy the walk down the the Charles Bridge. ||||The area is quiet and sleeping is good at night.||||Overall, I keep coming back here and it helps me enjoy my visits to Prague.

If you want to be away from Prague's tourist hordes, this is probably the best place for you ! It's in a lovely cobbled district near lots of great sights - Prague Castle, Loreta Church, Strahov Monastery etc ||Yes it's a much quieter area - you have to walk uphill from town to get back - but it's not difficult, in fact it's a great way to walk off your dinner and appreciate the city (there's also a great tram route-22 if you want to ride home instead.)||The hotel staff were all really helpful - thank you Susanna, Mary and Martina - there's a good breakfast, and all thought through well. The hotel is simple but tasteful and stylish - and yes, get Room 6 if you can, it's great.||All in all, thoroughly recommended for discerning travellers.

We spent three nights here in December 2013. The room was very comfortable and had a great view. The staff was very attentive and the breakfast was sufficient. The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from the palace and museums and an easy stroll to the Charles bridge. If I return to Prague I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is located in one of the best locations possible in the city- 8 minutes walk from the Castle. ||The rooms are clean and nice.||The hotel is NOT disabled-friendly and has many stairs. ||Breakfast is very modest. ||Notice that the area is dead (no places to eat or drink) around the hotel after 7pm, so eat somewhere else.||Great service of a driver, who brought us from and to the train station - cheap, easy and the driver was very friendly.
