Domus Libera

Deceptively quiet rooms, considering you are just metres from the via del Corso. The staff are attentive to every need to make the stay a pleasant one. Rooms are kept clean and tidy and we couldn’t fault our stay. Location is within comfortable walking distance of many landmarks. Breakfast in the small lobby space if you don’t feel adventurous to walk through the nearby streets and discover a hole in the wall cafe that locals frequent.

I have just returned from a 3 night stay in the Domus Libera. Everything about our stay was perfect. The staff are extremely attentive from start to end. The rooms are immaculate and luxurious and the location is perfect for all major attractions but tucked away, so not noisy at all. The breakfast provided was also varied and tasted fabulous! I would definitely stay again.

I’m 60 years old, and it’s the best experience in my life in any hotel, To Ella and her super professionalism, and of course the whole team in the hotel. When we depart, we were met with a train strike. With Ella helping us, finding us alternative routes to go to Milan and finding us a Taxi and checking the train schedules. She has gone way way way above the call of duty, she even waited with us until we find a taxi. WHO DOES THAT? Your team is amazing, Ella is amazing. Check-in team is amazing. Super great experience! Myself and my partner stayed at this hotel last week for a few nights and I cannot recommend it enough. The service and experience was exceptional from the beginning and before we had even arrived in Italy. They were easily contactable and facilitative, and even arranged a room upgrade when we informed them that it was a special occasion for us! The breakfast was great and delivered to the room at the requested time each day. The rooms were spotless and the beds were very comfortable and a good size. We would particularly like to thank April and Pauline for everything they did to make our stay so special. We will definitely be back!

Location is great due to closeness to major touristic places, but adjacent site is on construction, and the exterior aspect is horrible. Breakfast are not real , I called "hors d'oeuvres", ridiculously small bites. The most liquid yogurt I have tried. The bathroom's finishes are horrible, bad materials and not maintained at all. Walls and floors cracked. Dirty aspect even after being cleaned. The lavatory water never get warm, cold as from freezer. The bathroom of my room wasn't at the bedroom level but raised like 18 inches ( 2 steps of about 9 inches) that could give you a painful wake up if you forgot about THEM! Those would be OUT of codes in America... finally the elevator for only one person and the luggage, and reachable after an small stair, no really functional, and sometimes wasn't functioning at all. The pictures are probably from their inauguration, so don't trust them. Comparing it with no so high ⭐ Italian hotels, this is a poorly 2 ⭐ and after asking "who's the owner" without answer, and no Italian employees at least on my stance, I had the impression, the administration wasn't ITALIAN AT ALL!!

Spent 10 days at this boutique hotel. Got lucky to have picked this one. Perfect location in heart of central Rome yet almost quiet and serene!||April, Pauline and Ella were the perfect hosts - going out of their way every day to give us hints and tips. I was working lots so also availed of great quiet space. ||Breakfast every morning a real personal touch with pastries and the best coffee we had in Rome. ||You won’t go wrong here. ||Joe

This was my husband and I’s first time in Rome, and Domus Libera was the perfect spot to use as our home base. The location, service, rooms, and even the breakfast are all reasons that this will always be the place I come to stay in Rome! Can’t wait till our next visit!!

My fiancé and I visited from the 23rd to 25th November, breakfast was included and we had a room with a balcony. We were greeted by the lovely April, who was friendly and helpful as soon as we met. She greeted us with cappuccino’s and homemade fruit shortbreads (which were incredible). The hotel is spotless, brilliantly decorated and in a fantastic location. You can order breakfast to your room, the food is delicious and there’s nothing the staff won’t do to make your stay memorable. Would 100% recommend to anyone, wonderful place.
