Domus Maria Hotel

It's in a great location, the staff are very friendly, and the former monastery has a magical atmosphere. The rooms are modest but comfortable. I think it's very good value for money. It's strange that you have to pay for breakfast every day in the dining room.

Fabulous hotel for the price point! Unbeatable location - right in the Old Town. Close to everything. Friendly staff. Quirky with the rooms being former monastery cells. Simple but filling breakfast. No luxury but clean, and great value for money!

The staff was very responsive when booking. I was able to reserve a family room for the 4 of us traveling and also reserved a parking spot in advance. I loved staying in this historical building with the modern updates. It was nicer than I expected. We were in the suite, so it had 2 rooms, and a bathroom. One TV, 2 desks, no fridge. Location was on the edge of Old Town and plenty of restaurants within close walking distance. Front desk pleasant and helpful. Good breakfast as well.

What you pay for is the location and you won't find a better one. I'm very glad I picked this hotel. The staff was very helpful and the room was as clean as you should expect. There isn't much more that needs to be said, it ticked all the right boxes and I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in the beautiful Old Town area!

Unfortunately can not recommend. Reason is the bed. A double room for 2 persons has such a small bed, it is a big one person bed with a very small blanket/sheet. Main purpose of a hotel night is sleeping so this is a no go hotel imo. A pity, as location, parking, breakfast is all great. Room is also very small, bathroom unpractical, hardly any towels.

I like staying at unique properties, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the location was so convenient for exploring Old Town! I think we booked the triple room, so we had a small living area, a separate bedroom, and a huge bathroom. The room was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable - this was some of the best sleep we had during our two week vacation! The hotel itself has so much character and was very quiet in the evening, which we enjoyed. We opted to have breakfast down the street, so I can't comment on the hotel's offering. I think this hotel is very unique and is a great value for your money - I highly recommend it!

Update 30.6.2025 Domus Maria is as wonderful place as always ❤ Domus Maria is a hotel built in a former monastery. It is absolutely wonderful. The simple interior design respects the old history and the hotel still exudes the spirit of the past. The rooms are quite small, simple and the corridors are long, vaulted. Everything is simply in the right way. When you enter the hotel's courtyard, it's like entering a haven of peace. The hotel's breakfast is delicious. You can park your car in the courtyard, which is a significant advantage in the old town area. We can recommend this hotel!

A hotel in an excellent city-center location—everything is within easy walking distance, and there’s equally convenient public transport to the airport. Housed in what was likely a former monastery, it boasts a lovely atmosphere and exceptionally friendly, helpful staff. I’ll probably remember my visit to Vilnius for a very long time.
