Beautiful hotel, great location, and very friendly staff. The room was new, tastefully decorated, and spacious, with a nice bathroom. We stayed for three nights and can highly recommend this place. It’s located in a charming little town with not too many tourists and a lively fishing port. Excellent food in local restaurants just around the corner (or inhouse).

We came to Sciacca to visit family and booked 2 rooms at this small boutique hotel. We booked a King Suite with big terrace (photos) and a Triple Deluxe with balcony and Sea view. ||The King Suite was huge. It was a large bedroom with an armoire and a desk with access to the large terrace. Additionally there was a large living space with sofa they made into a bed for our child, a table, small fridge the bathroom and another door to the large terrace. The terrace was the star of the show, although too hot to be on in the daytime, we used it each night. ||The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well in the room and kept us cool. ||But, if you having issues walking or climbing stairs this may not be the room for you. The elevator took you up to the second floor then there was a flight of stairs to walk up with your luggage. For us it was fine, but if my parents would have had this room instead of us- it would have been an issue going up and down.||You couldn't find a better location for the center of town / piazza. You were in the center of it all, restaurants, shops and on the weekends the whole town comes alive. ||If you have a car, it is not the easiest to park, there is free parking at a small lot below the hotel (you can take the stairs from the piazza) but if you move your car, you may not be able to find a spot again. If you park in the paid lot across the piazza bring small euros, you have to get a parking pass at the gelato shop and put it in your window. You also have to give your license plate to the front desk because the street in front of the hotel is closed for traffic and you can get a ticket for going down it. The hotel gives the police your plate so they don't ticket you.||I think this hotel is quickly going to become the most luxurious boutique hotel in the town - a few improvements to go from good to great.|1. Tell housekeeping to clean the outside areas as well as the inside. There are a lot of birds so some days there was some bird poop on the furniture and we didn't have anything to clean it with. The inside furniture was all new, maybe eventually replace some of the pieces outside too. |2. No fan in the bathroom. There was a window but when it's 85F and you're showering it got super hot in there.|3. Charging for towels to take to the beach, they should give them to you in your room for free and only charge you if they are not returned.|4. The aircons in the room were great, add more in the common spaces and the hallways, it was sweltering when you would leave your room. |||Thank you for a great visit, we will be back!

Wonderful. Great views! Straightforward furnishings. Best value for money. Don’t miss the excellent restaurant Vela associated with the hotel!! We went there, to their beautiful terrace above the harbour, to enjoy our hotel welcome drink and ended up having an unforgettable dinner there. Michelin star team, opened 6 months ago.

Domus Maris has an excellent location right by the promenade. The view from our small room was stunning. See photo. It’s funny but it didn’t really feel like you were staying in a hotel. There didn’t seem to be a hotel manager. there was often a person at the front desk who seemed to be struggling to figure out what her role was. The owners have invested a lot of money in renovating the property but they don’t seem to have figured out what they want it to be.

Strangely soulless hotel. Cara and Gloria were charming and did their best, but the hotel still lacked any charm or warmth. Sciacca also one of the least charming towns we’ve visited in 60 years of traveling in Italy. But on the upside, we had the best meal of this 3 week trip in Cola Pesce

Excellent boutique hotel. We had a room with seaside view and it was amazing - free welcome drink was offered at hotel related restaurent “Vela” which also had a tasting menu which we unfortunately did not have time to explore but would have loved to try - we were so excited we tried to stay an extra night but the hotel was full. Very good value for the price paid - we would live to revisit!

Beautiful hotel and wonderful location. Very clean rooms and professional receptionists who made our stay better and organised Olive oil tasting near by (ask About it, 100% recommended). I cant give 5* because of the breakfast. We choosed this hotel for the view from the room and restaurant but breakfast was served in a dark cellar with a small window. Also the breakfast selection was not much, too many sweets. If you offer pancake/omellete to guests it would mean more than 5-6 sweet cakes..if you change this, it would be amazing!
