The most pleasant hotel experience ever. Welcoming staff, amazing room supplied to us with delicious breakfast accompanied by the most well mannered and attentive staff member. The building and architecture is beautiful, the interior design is unique and unmatched. Placed right on the Venetian Harbour along side the bars and restaurants, amazing all in all 10/10 no complaints. This was a perfect 30th birthday gift to my other half - will definitely be coming back together in the future! Thank you.

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Domus Renier hotel as part of a short break in Chania at the end of a longer stay in Crete. What a fabulous hotel to finish our holiday in. It is a beautiful old building in a great part of the old town, the room was super clean and comfortable and the view over the old town was fantastic. All the staff were friendly and helpful but a special shout out to Ramona for showing us places to go and places to eat which was great. Breakfasts at the hotel are excellent - it’s like a traditional English afternoon tea but at breakfast and the main courses were really lovely, especially the avocado mousse and poached eggs on brioche. Everything about our stay was lovely and I would highly recommend for a stay here in Chania.

My wife and I spent five wonderful days at Domus Renier in Chania’s Old Town, and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is perfectly located, and the view of the old port from our room was absolutely magnificent—something we will always remember. The room itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable, with thoughtful details that made our stay feel special. What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were friendly, attentive, and always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and professionalism made a big difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we would highly recommend Domus Renier to anyone visiting Chania. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

We cannot say enough about this hotel. Location unbelievable, Hospitality incredible, Breakfasts to die for and attention to detail is mind boggling. Clearly these folk understand what customer satisfaction is all about and I cannot wait to return to this hotel in the future. My favourite hotel was located in Venice but I think that has now changed to the Domus Renier in the Old Harbour in Chania. Go ahead, spoil yourself!

Domus Renier made Chania a special experience for us. The breakfast was incredible, the service friendly (thank you George), and the location unbeatable. The hotel staff also assisted us in booking private excursions. We will be coming back to Domus Renier next time we’re in Chania.

Definite 5 star hotel. Beautiful rooms in great location overlooking the water. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Quiet and first rate boutique hotel. Breakfasts are great and in a beautiful outdoor area. Loved our experience at this hotel.
