We had an amazing stay here. This was the last hotel of our honeymoon trip and by far the most elegant hotel we've ever stayed at. The staff were all amazing. The room was immaculate and the view was beautiful. Our little balcony was such a delight. The breakfasts included a delightful little tower of treats, coffee, and an entree off of the menu. Nothing here could have been nicer, cleaner, or more lovely. 11/10

We had the good luck to stay 3 nights at the Domus Renier Botique Hotel the first week in May. It is tucked away behind a restaurant in the center of The Old Town Harbor where all the action is in Chania, Crete. This 10 room hotel with names for each room instead of numbers was an absolute delight. Attention to detail is obvious from the initial interface with the reception staff who are so very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are each a little different and are very attractive and very efficient. We had a very nice hot tub on our balcony that could accommodate several people. Our friends had a great view of the harbor. The included breakfast is al a carte, and not the run of the mill buffet. Understated elegance is everywhere, is that everything has been carefully curated instead of assembled. And your could not find more lovely people to deal with. It’s like staying with good friends.

We stayed at Domus Renier in June and are already planning to return next year. We absolutely loved everything-the rooms, the charming hotel, the location, the amazing breakfast, the views, but especially the way we were treated. ||Maria was delightful, greeting us every morning for our breakfast in the courtyard and making us feel right at home. Ramona and Miss Litsa were charming, helpful and went out of their way to say hello and make recommendations. And we loved the restaurant below the hotel-great food at any time of the day.

We absolutely loved everything about Domus Renier: |1. The location was perfect. Right on the water and inside the old town pedestrian district with its little streets and tons of restaurants, tavernas and cafes, as well as shopping options. |2. The property was beautiful showing a great attention to every little detail and our room had a beautiful view of the cove and lighthouse. |3. The staff: Not even sure where to start - they were amazing. Georgia, Sandy and Maria took such good care of us, providing us with great recommendations within Chania Town as well as elsewhere (Thanks for the recommendations in Kantonos and Paleochora, Sandy!). The breakfast was delicious each morning with so many yummy options! They really went above and beyond to make sure we had a lovely stay. |We will be back!

This boutique hotel was a highlight of our visit to Chania. The owner and the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Our suite on the top floor turned out to be enormous with two bedrooms, two full baths as well as living space. All very comfortable and very tastefully decorated—very clean and modern without being overly so. The best, however, is the small outdoor area with the best view of the harbor in town. Perfect place to enjoy a relaxing glass of wine on a stool.||Elevator to take you down to the restaurant/harbor level entry or reception. Despite there being a large restaurant below, as is true for virtually every spot along the harbor, we never heard any noise in the room. Wonderful breakfast (and there’s a lot of competition for that in Greece!) that you can eat inside or outside.||Thanks for being such excellent and kind hosts. Highly recommend.

My husband and I recently spent 4 nights at this lovely hotel while touring Crete. It is located right on the Venetian Harbor (our room had an incredible view of the harbor and was very spacious). It was a great base for touring Chania and the surrounding area. The breakfast was delicious with generous portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay in Chania.

One of the best hotel stays we've ever had. They upgraded us to a larger room with an amazing view. The staff went above and beyond in every interaction and made our trip very special. The included breakfast was fantastic. We would come back and I can recommend this place without any hesitation. One tip was that I didn't realize you can ask them to help you with your bags and coordinate where to meet. We tried to drive to the hotel, and there's no access via car so we had to drag our heavy bags to the hotel, but that was my fault.

We stayed for one night only as we were venturing onwards for the remainder of our holiday, but I booked the first night here as I wanted to explore and experience Chania Old Town. It was a great decision and we had a fabulous short stay. The team at the hotel are so warm and welcoming and made our stay even more memorable - my husband and I were celebrating our silver wedding anniversary and the hotel very kindly upgraded our room affording us beautiful views of the harbour and lighthouse. The room was very well appointed, the toiletries were of good quality and the breakfast - served in a lovely little courtyard - was absolutely excellent. You step out of their main front door right out into the harbour so if you’re looking for prime location, this is it! As close as we were to the restaurants which line the front, we were completely undisturbed, with blackout blinds ensuring we slept peacefully. We would definitely return and I can confidently recommend this hotel. I always use TripAdvisor before booking hotels as there is no better recommendation than word of mouth! A gorgeous hotel run by fabulous staff.
