Definitely the place here that made us went "holy shit, these are so good". Their food were AMAZING. We're super picky when it comes to food and Don Juan is absolutely amazing. Everything was top notch. Their fruit shakes are genuinely pure fruits, so it's just drinkable versions of the fruits. Their food were tasty and healthily made as they weren't super greasy. DEFINITELY come to Don Juan. Worth the prices.

Had an early dinner with friends, the food is great and prices are reasonable. The space is just enough to have a gathering, they had a long table to accommodate big groups. The design is of the area and ambiance is like you're taveling back in time which matches the constructions/ buildings outside. The only thing lacking on my opinion is the lightning inside though maybe it's really the design considering it's in the early years of Filipino dining set up. Overall the quality of foods stands out.

We ordered pusit, pork bbq and kare kare. I was not dissapointed with the kare kare. It was delicious with more peanut butter in it. There was a 45minute wait for the pusit and bbq which was not warm. Pusit was not rubbery tho. We were not satisfied with the oversweet bagoong. Sayang sana mas malasa si kare kare kung tama timpla ng bagoong. Fried suman with chocolate was yummy. The resto is situated beside the taal market. There were many hungry people when we ordered at 11am. It's not your average posh kainan but its clean enough. Just order early if you want to be served before noon. Order the food under Sabaw and avoid the rice meals. We may have just been timed after mass so people were queueing in but on a safe side, my advice stands.

Great staffs clean cr. Good food. Good ambience. A bit slower on serving if boodle but I see single orders are handy and fast. Great stop for tourists. Affordable menu too..

I love dining in Don Juan restaurant when in Taal Batangas. They have variety of food and drinks. My favorites is their “boodle” meal paired with kapeng barako. I highly recommend this place when you’re in Batangas.

The place to go when you are in Taal and craving for Filipino Lutong-bahay or if you and your friends are game for boodle fight. The food is affordable but best suited for those eating in groups.. The service is good. The place gets crowded during lunchtime and dinnertime so please manage your expectations about speedy service. I'd recommend Sinigang na hipon, Chicken Inasal, Tawilis or better yet, go for "Taal Specialties Boodleito". The place also sells pasalubong like coffee as well as a few Pinoy desserts like Halo-halo, Bibingka and Suman at Tsokolate.

Yelp
Food was delicious. Located in the center of town by the market. The seafood boil was a party in my mouth. Service was fast and efficient. The a/c was such a welcome respite from the heat. Prices were great value for what you get. Recommend highly if you're looking for classic Filipino fare.
