We ordered the Tapang Taal and it was absolutely delicious — generous portion too, easily good for two people. Definitely worth the price! Would love to come back and try their boodle menu featuring Taal specialties. The restaurant interior was clean, air-conditioned, and had a nice, relaxed vibe. We came on a weekday evening, so it wasn’t crowded at all. Even the restroom was clean, which is always a plus. Overall, a really pleasant dining experience!

We got an amazing time at Don Juan Boodle House. They got plenty of different dishes to choose from that reflects their Batangueño cuisine. Super easy to select and their staff are polite and very nice. They recommended we order the bundles as it has a little bit of everything. Highly recommended! :D

Had an early dinner with friends, the food is great and prices are reasonable. The space is just enough to have a gathering, they had a long table to accommodate big groups. The design is of the area and ambiance is like you're taveling back in time which matches the constructions/ buildings outside. The only thing lacking on my opinion is the lightning inside though maybe it's really the design considering it's in the early years of Filipino dining set up. Overall the quality of foods stands out.

I love dining in Don Juan restaurant when in Taal Batangas. They have variety of food and drinks. My favorites is their “boodle” meal paired with kapeng barako. I highly recommend this place when you’re in Batangas.

We ordered pusit, pork bbq and kare kare. I was not dissapointed with the kare kare. It was delicious with more peanut butter in it. There was a 45minute wait for the pusit and bbq which was not warm. Pusit was not rubbery tho. We were not satisfied with the oversweet bagoong. Sayang sana mas malasa si kare kare kung tama timpla ng bagoong. Fried suman with chocolate was yummy. The resto is situated beside the taal market. There were many hungry people when we ordered at 11am. It's not your average posh kainan but its clean enough. Just order early if you want to be served before noon. Order the food under Sabaw and avoid the rice meals. We may have just been timed after mass so people were queueing in but on a safe side, my advice stands.

A very good experience for boodle fight. The food is okay. Got to try the tawilis and tapang Taal, which is great. You don't get it anywhere else. Endemic to Taal, so very good experience. I also appreciate the baro't saya costume of the servers. Only wish that those who are assigned to clear the tables are also in the same motif, no discrimation. My 1 star-less is for the disappointment of using plastic gloves and the unnecessary plastic stirrer. Boodle fight is meant to be eaten by hands and you also reduce plastic pollution.

Had lunch with my family - a group of 8 and their service was faultless. Boodle fight menus were delicious and their shakes was so thirst quenching and refreshing!

Yelp
Food was delicious. Located in the center of town by the market. The seafood boil was a party in my mouth. Service was fast and efficient. The a/c was such a welcome respite from the heat. Prices were great value for what you get. Recommend highly if you're looking for classic Filipino fare.
