Don Ugo Luxury Rooms in Tropea

Excellent room in a good location. The owner, Stefano, was a great guy, very helpful and nothing too much trouble. Good communications via whatsapp and picked us up and dropped us off at the station,. When we were there they were doing refurbishment of the rooms above and we couldn't use our balcony due to scaffolding, not a major issue but Stefano did offer us a good discount as compensation. He was talking of refurbishing the current rooms although I thought they were fine. Only suggestion would be to fit a thermostatic shower mixer as it was quite tricky to get the temperature right. The location is good, just on the edge of the centre right by the steps down to the town beach. Stafano also had a tie up with the beach cafe and said that we could use a sunshade and lounger if we wanted (However we preferred the beach just past the marina). Breakfast is in the cafe below the rooms. A nice locals cafe which was great. Basic breakfast of coffee, orange juice and pastry although there were other options. Pastries could have been better though. Overall a great stay in Tropea

Excellent stay. Special shoutout to Stefano for being extremely helpful and responsive all the time. We really appreciate the hospitality. The room was spacious for our family of 4, clean and comfortable. The cafe was very nice for breakfast and the food was very good. The beach is a very short walk out of the room and down the stairs. There is a beautiful lido right at the bottom of the stairs, overall amazing experience wish we had more time in Tropea we will definitely be back and I highly recommend Don Ugo!

The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived to the last minute of departure. Stefano has personally picked us up from the parking lot brought everything up to our room and has gone above and beyond when we were ready to say goodbye. Stefano was an amazing part of the staff members and has tremendously enhanced our stay at Tropea. The staff has catered to every single one of our needs and went above and beyond our expectations. They have recommended every place to attend and have gotten us into great gatherings and have arranged beautiful days without us even trying to ask for anything but a beautiful sunset. From the service to the cleanliness and the beautiful smiles that everyone wore, this would be the only place I ever so quickly click with a finger to stay at beautiful Tropea. Thank you everyone for a magical stay

Wow, Stefano was absolutely awesome, nothing was to hard, gave great information of where to go and where to eat. Shuttle service to the train station was a god sent. 10 out of 10. Best stay in all of Italy.

Wonderful location! Really close to the center of Tropea. Old, beautiful building, designed with a great idea, it was pretty cool! The room was well equipped, and every day we had a cleaning service. Our room was a balcony with a great view! Federica - the host - was so friendly and really, really helpful! Amazing experience! I highly recommend it!

We stayed for a long weekend. It was so convenient to everything in Tropea. The room was beautiful. Had aircon and was cleaned every day which was a real treat. En suite was perfect. Edith was so pleasant and helped us in many ways to had a wonderful carefree time. Breakfast was good and service was very nice and friendly. Happy memories!

Fantastic location. Just a 30 second walk away from the steps down to the beach and only a few minutes away from the town centre. The room was very well finished and the maids did a great job of cleaning the room daily. Tiffany at reception was very helpfull and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast is the only thing that could have been better but then again for the price the whole stay exceeded our expectations. I would defiantly stay here again.
