Donair Dude

I had a donair and it was absolutely delicious—so fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. Nishat was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and cooperative, which made my dining experience even more special and memorable. We originally came just for dinner, but the food was so good that we ended up taking one home for the next day as well. The portion size was generous, the quality was excellent, and the taste was simply amazing. Another great point is that their lamb and beef are Halal, which makes it even better for those who look for halal options without compromising on taste. I highly recommend Donair Dude for anyone looking for a great meal and wonderful service. Definitely a place I’d love to come back to!

foods great as always but not sure if you are rationing for the winter or something i used to get way more food. increased price as well for less portion is insane. But ill still be coming back foods amazing.

The taste is extremely delicious. I come here to eat every Monday and Tuesday. I only found that this restaurant has special offers at noon. Every time I come, the same male server is very enthusiastic and the service and attitude are particularly good. Even he remembers my preferences.

Walked by the neighborhood and noticed the Monday Tuesday deal at this location. Give it a try and not disappointed. Service was attentive, food portion is good, the vegetable bar with option of pineapple which made the wrap refreshing on the bite. Quite a few sauces to choose from.

Every time I come, the vegetables are fresh and everything tastes great. Nishat is so welcoming her friendly attitude and warm smile make the experience even better. This location is my favorite because of the consistent quality and amazing service!

Ordered a large beef donair for pickup and there was no filling. I even asked if it was a large when I got it because it didn’t seem like there was anything in it. For $16 it was a rip-off and I would not go back to this Kerrisdale location.

Been coming here regularly for years. Staff is reliable and consistent and unlike a heck of a lot of other stores here I don't have to go ask the staff what happened to my order. They seemed to have hired new staff recently and they do a good job. The lady with the head scarf and the guy working with her always smile and deliver good service. Brought a friend over and he's been going there consistently ever since and tells me he likes it. I know they have deals but I just wish they had student discounts too given that a lot of students live around Kerrisdale!

So i used to shop here alot due to my own schedule it has been a long time since my proper visit. The old team was perfect, the current night team makes me not wanting ever come back. The ladies take orders and wonder around, they do not understand customers normal talking, they are in another universe, without checking money, they just ask me that I pay less, then she checked and was like okay. Thats the basic common sense of customer service. And then they are eating while making another food ready, on floor there were food leftovers, people left and chairs were unorganised, the staff were just walking around in the back. I ordered drink with my food, i had to ask them to give it to me and the staff response “yea” I understand its 10pm and staff are tired but its not 2 minute before closing. Another customer made an order and asked when will it be ready, they said 5minutes, he came back and then they started his order because they never ask what he wants in his donair. I cam another night at 11pm and out of gravy, i was like okay but i checked with another donair and said if gravy is out, they can prepare it again. But not in this store. Food quality is perfect but not current staff.

What can you get for $10 nowadays eh ? Not much ! Okay maybe a lower-end EVM from Mickey D's . . . or just come here and meet the newest kid on the block - Donair Dude . For under ten bucks tax-in you can order a small beef/chicken/lamb plate with a reasonable amount of diced protein on top a bed of rice , 3 nugget potatoes and a pita . No drink included but still decent value . Possibly a limited time offer so hurry in ! Lol

I did not know what to expect, but after a flight and rental car pick up, this is the first food place we saw that wasn't Burger King. It was delicious!! Like a Mediterranean Chipotle :) I had a large pita wrap filled with everything they offered and it did not disappoint. Show up hungry, leave satisfied!

We came here right after we flew into Vancouver. It's a huge amount of food for a great price. We loved our meal, and it wasn't just cuz we were hungry. They were helpful to ask our many questions. It's a chain, and feels very fast food like. Great food.
