It surprises me how the service and food taste changed in a couple of years in a good way. I had to leave everything and left the restaurant in 2023 when I visited here as the service was really bad and the food tasted terrible. But I came here with my friends and tried few different dishes. Everything was good except the deep fried spring rolls were cold. The soup tasted clean and tasty. Charcoal grilled chicken with lemongrass was great. The service was fast and easy. You should give it a try if you are craving for some Vietnamese food in Paris .

The Pho which is most look forward to wash not fully cooked that was tasting a little hard, meat potion is small though I ordered a big portion.

So many viet places in the area but not many serve bun rieu. I got a large which I felt was still very small, price I guess was around average. The soup base was great very flavourful but was not hot enough, came just warm and the fish cake was really really fishy, I only ate half of the fishcake. The taste was great but was not hot enough, small and fishcakes bad. Doubt I will return in a hurry. Seems popular with Japanese ppl, waitress didn't speak any English but it's ok u can just point.

Was very fortunate to visit their shop when it was before crowded dining time. The owner shared a lot of stories with me about their Vietnamese background and where she has travelled to. I loved their pho as the soup was so clean and healthy yet super rich in ASEAN flavours. I would definitely visit them again next time in town.

I got the Bun Rieu. The soup was aromatic and flavourful. The waiter brought me out the shrimp paste for me to smell before ordering, which was a little odd. There was a lively crowd and it was generally a good atmosphere.

Google
The Pho tai was ok, there are sauce and herbs but the broth is a bit bland (not flavorful enough) but the meat was ok The Bun Bo Hue on the opposite, the broth is quite strong, you can taste mam ruoc on the broth but the noodles is very hard ( not soft enough) The entree we took was Banh Beo Bi! This one was excellent!

Google
This place had great reviews so I thought I’d try it out. I ordered bun rieu but was mistakenly given bun bo hue. I took a bite of bun bo hue before realizing this wasn’t what I ordered. But all I can say is that the one bite of bun bo hue did not live up to my expectation. The noodles were not soft and the broth was pretty bland. The meat was also a bit on the chewy side. The bun rieu was.. also pretty disappointing. I expected an explosion of flavour but instead I got just a hint. overall, it’s alright. service was great though. even though they thought i wouldn’t notice the difference between bun rieu and bun bo hue, this place is okay.

Great food! Lemongrass chicken was incredible, marinated and grilled to perfection. Phô with saté was great, delicious broth. Overall a bit expensive tho. Fast service, nice staff

Yelp
This place is amazing. I'm visiting and needed some comfort food, and this hit the spot. It's tucked back from the Main Street, but not by much. It appears to be run by a family and has a traditional Vietnamese restaurant vibe inside. They're fast and friendly.

Yelp
The location was the negative - not in the best of town The appetizers were spot on - main course both pho and the rice dishes were very tasty If it was in a nicer and safer location would definitely be a 5-star!

Yelp
We love Vietnamese food and got a recommendation for this restaurant . We didn't like the food. A lot of bean sprouts, bowls full of plain vermicelli and onions but very little meat, shrimp or pork in any of the dishes. Spring rolls were dripping in grease. Very few vegetables except for bean sprouts . Nothing like the Vietnamese food we have come to love .

Yelp
This place is incredible, possibly the best pho I've had outside Vietnam. Delicious, rich broth in massive portions. The service is quick and easy and the entire staff is super friendly. It's also a really big location so there's rarely a wait and works great for a bit group. Will be back again soon.

Yelp
This is a no-frills hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese restaurant that caters mainly to the locals... most of which are Vietnamese. You KNOW the food is good! Although it is known for its pho, Dong Huang also has a sizable menu of all sorts of goodies. My sweetheart go the Banh Xeo, a rice crepe filled with shrimp, beansprouts, pork, onions and a few other goodies. I had a more generic "meat on a stick" with noodles and veggies. Now, I know what you're probably thinking (and Mom would certainly freak out if she knew I'd ordered generic meat on a stick from some little hole-in-the-wall). But consider the location, and the clientele. If it wasn't good, chances are they wouldn't be packed with locals. ...and it was, both times we went there! I liked this place, and it was refreshingly easy on my wallet.

Yelp
This place came up on my search for "soup places". It was excellent. Family owned and operated. The young lady manager was very friendly and I was the first customer. This was my last meal before I left Paris and it was rather rainy so I really wanted something warm and comforting. And I got it. Beef pho was flavorful. Easily comparable to the ones I have had in Westminster, USA but without the ubiquitous jalapeno which are plentiful in America. Still very good. Highly recommended! They did have a special house hot sauce that I really liked.

Yelp
One my favorite spots for authentic Vietnamese food in Paris. You'll find several variations of Pho and other tasty soups, spring rolls, grilled meats, fish and fried rice to have a great dining experience.

Yelp
I tried this place a day before I was set to leave Paris, not wanting to leave France without trying some Vietnamese cuisine first and it was by far one of the best decisions that I've ever made as a solo traveler. The food was not the best that I've eaten but not the worst, and the noodles were very thick compared to the Vietnamese noodles I've had back home... but the spring rolls and iced coffee immediately gave me a glimpse of familiarity although I was 5,000 miles away from home. And the best part of this experience was that I was able to leave this restaurant with a couple of new friends including the owner of this restaurant. Everyone was so very friendly to me and we've conversed for probably a couple of hours, which made me feel at ease since I was the only Vietnamese American in the restaurant. And if you guys are reading this, thank you for making me feel at home and I hope to come back to your restaurant again and try your buon rieu (:

Yelp
We found this place in a book named "Paris streetfood". This place is so overrated!!! We ordered grand pho and hainan chicken and rice. Pho was not that grand ( my opinion may be biased as we are so used to Pho in New York where by "grand" we mean double the size here). Hainanese chicken was so fatty and overcook - tourist trap!

Yelp
This was the first and last Asian restaurant that I had tried for the whole entire time when I was in Europe. I was so excited to try this place out since it's closed to my Airbnb and it opened late. I tried out their Meatball Pho. The soup was ok. I think I had tried a better one in Vietnam or even in the U.S.

Yelp
Nice. Tasty and not that expensive. Huge plats that I could not finish. But there are too many people so it seems they need more room.

Yelp
If this place was in Toronto, it'd receive a 2 star, but for Paris quality pho that I have tried so far, this place is pretty decent. I had a bowl of their special pho for about 7 euros. The broth was okay, passable but not spectacular. My bf had the chicken chop with sliced pork, which was also passable. The best thing I had there was probably their vietnamese coffee with milk. What I didnt like: - the store was insanely busy and no one had time to even look at you and give you service. we asked for a cafe, and it never got served. we had to ask for the bill four times to three different ppl before we got it. the entire place is cramped and you get pushed around. - instead of tripe, they used andouillette....so gross.

Yelp
Walked here from the apartment I was staying at, and I must say parts of it was kind of a sketchy walk. Nonetheless, I got to Dong Huong safely. I ordered a small P1 from their menu, pretty much the Pho + every meats dish. PROs: the broth is delicious, the bowl was only 8,20 euros, the place was clean, the service was fast, menu had pictures and was in french and english CONs: the noodles weren't authentic (a bit thick for my pho taste), and they didn't have the right spoons! it was just these metal spoons that was hard to scoop up both the broth and the noodles. Overall, I bet there's a better Pho place in Paris, but if you're craving Pho like I was, this really isn't a bad option. I did really enjoy their beef broth!

Yelp
originally wanted to go to Tin Tin. Looked inside and Dong Huong and it was much more crowded and with more Vietnamese customers. We had a soup Pho, a dry pho, and a pork chop plate. Tasty and with good flavor. Portions were not particularly large, but with a reasonable about of protein portions vs. other places in Paris. I would not call it cheap, but relative to the rest of Paris.. acceptable. Would go back.

Yelp
Ooof. Well, to begin with, I was upset that we weren't able to eat at the dim sum place around the corner from here. So we ended up at this place. The staff was nice enough, the beer was cold, and my friend enjoyed her soup, which was actually spicy, which is why they get two stars. But from my vantage point, all I can say is DO NOT EAT HERE IF YOU ARE VEGETARIAN. There is nothing on the menu that is vegetarian. They made me a Chinese crèpe that was filled with raw onions and bean sprouts. Ug. I can't believe that there are no other cookable vegetables in the kitchen. No need or desire to go back.

Yelp
I found this place after lots of searching online for a new cheap place to eat in Paris. So many places are out of my budget. But here you get lots of food for wonderful prices. My husband and I ordered the p1, p5, and the cocktails 6 and 8. Number 8 with the red beans is amazing! I can't wait to keep coming back and making it part of my routine places to eat. They take cards after 10 euros is being spent and the main noodle dishes start at about 7.40 a great starting price.

Yelp
Hard to find good asian food in paris. This one is nice. Strongly recommend their Red Bean Ice. Two people about 35euro. Reasonable price:) worth to go again.

Yelp
This is our first stop in Paris after eating literately the same food every single day on an Italian cruise for 7 days. My brother-in-law craved for a hot bowl of Pho so I pulled out my guide book and gave Dong Huong a shot. The pho was good, it's very different (broth/meat/vege/sauce) from the ones I had in LA/NYC, I like the chicken broth the most. The only thing I didn't like that much was the meat was too raw in some bowls. I can see this as a frequent visit if I live in Paris or I might go if I crave Pho again when I visit Paris next time!

Yelp
I found this place after searching online for a new restaurant to try. I had never had Pho before and it seemed easy to find. The first time I ate there I was blown away! The soups are SO amazing. It's now part of my most frequented restaurants in Paris. It's so worth going and you MUST try their red bean drink. It's so good.

Yelp
This is my first time to try Vietnamese food in Paris. It's a good experience because the price and quality are reasonable.

Yelp
Tremendous food, but the service is deplorable even by French standards. Usually that doesn't bother me too much, but it felt like eating in a factory. Shoulder to shoulder, orders taken and meals served at random, incorrect checks supplied, eager customers waiting in line and hovering over your table. Yikes. A pork lover's paradise if you can disassociate your taste buds from the rest of your body. Don't even think about bringing vegetarian friends!

jessica d.

Yelp
It was so cute to see the French people here, eating their Vietnamese food with red wine and forks and knives! We're kinda pho-obsessed, have it every Sunday for breakfast. Needed a break from meat and cheese and were in the 'hood, so we came here. I had the five spice chicken, he had pho ga. It was pretty good and nice to have something that tasted like home. If I lived here I'd come back and try other things on the menu, and if I came back to Paris and was nearby, I'd give it a try again.

Cole S.

Yelp
I never think of going to Pho restaurants, but my friend suggested we find one in this neighborhood so we found this place on Yelp. The food is excellent and we arrived JUST in time. The crowds poured in and we were served rather quickly. My friend ordered standard beef Pho and summer rolls. I had a beef and noodles. The taste definitely has me thinking I'll be a more frequent Pho eater in the future. This place is well reviewed and highly recommended for a reason. Make this part of your Paris experience.

Adrian M.

Yelp
Not bad. Definitely authentic, but that doesn't always mean good. Come here for the pho not anything else on the menu . Service is overwhelmed and not that efficient. Expect to ask for the bill or other things at least 3/4 times. Expect to wait for a table. And expect your dishes to come at random times in no particular order.

T. N.

Yelp
One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants to eat at while in Paris. Large variety!

Da R.

Yelp
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants. Very origin and tasty. I love it and have to visit everytime I'm in Paris to eat pho or the spring rolls.
