Dongmen 3 Hostel 東門3號青年旅店

Suitable for solo travelers who only need a place to shower and sleep. Among the staff I met during my 3nights there, a staff named“ 博君” was very informative and friendly. Summary : + cost savings if solo + near to metro Taipei, convenient -not suitable for people who are sensitive to noise. Although rules stated, no slippers allowed in room and noise after 11pm. Unfortunately many didn’t follow the rules ☺️. -Elderly, not suitable if sleep in an upper bunk bed (need to climb ladder)

Check in and check out were easy. The rooms were clean. The restrooms were immaculately clean. The bed, pillows amx comforter were comfy. Location was excellent. Literally steps away from the red metro line. Cute coffee shop right in front and next door. Convince store Family Mart a few steps away also.

This hostel has a female only floor. It is very clean and quiet and well organised. The capsule beds are spacious. The staff are very helpful.

Quiet area and place. Really appreciate that there's a coffee shop down the hostel. Very close to the train station as well.

Though not without wants, the hostel offers more value than what you'd pay for - spacious and clean, in solid location, and with very hospitable staff. For the price, you couldn't ask for more :)

everything is exceptionally fulfilled besides the vibe of being a hostel. Lack of public space and of course hardly no one socializing is a deduction

Taipeh is more expensive than the rest of the country and so are the rooms. Here you get a nice room, partner dorm and perfect location. Everyone is very friendly and speaks english very well! For a view nights it’s perfect.

Had a great stay at Dongmen 3 during my time in Taipei. The guys on reception were always really friendly and happy to offer recommendations etc. Check-in process nice and easy, dorms and shower rooms were clean and well-kept, with most needed amenities! Location was great too, right next to the MRT!
