Yelp
Cotton and frilly satin. Tulle and gauze, silk and sequins! No longer will my mouth utter, "I can't find any cute dresses in Kansas City." Besides that, I work from home in sweats and a t-shirt.
Lilian O decided we'd go to Donna's Dress Shop after the Yelp Event. I walked into a spring time all in and of itself. My fingers went over each little pretty, and I had to stifle myself, cause I'm paid the next Friday...(so then I don't have to abstain). I'm counting the days to touch more of the springy dresses.
I tried on one grey checked dress, that was so cute, but there's others that were also cute. (Saying that, incase it's not there next time) The grey dress fit me very well, infact, it was my ideal dress. I don't usually wear dresses, cause I can't find cute dresses, that fit and look good. I can't stand panty hose, but I was told I didn't need to wear them (cause I won't ever) so I have always had issues with dresses, but not any more.
The grey checked dress had a full back, full front, a zipper, and the cutest tulip shaped skirt I've ever seen. That wasn't the only dress I saw I liked, there was a yellow one, and an orange one and a pink one and a red one, a green one... and several vintage dresses. The vintages dresses have the story behind where they obtained the garment on a tag.
For the price, the dresses aren't overly priced. (I'm used to Macy's, which doesn't have much of anything. The prices are comparable. ) Donna's Dress Shop makes me glad I'm female! Thank goodness this store isn't any closer to me.
