Down home southern hospitality. Wonderful environment. Good meals 07/23/2025 Except for the catfish. It was severely overcooked, mushy and mostly inedible. The hush puppies are generally good but today they were tough, spongy and overcooked as well.

Donna and friends has a great family atmosphere. The food always taste like it came straight from my grandmothers kitchen!! People are friendly, food is great and price is right!!

Country style food in a laid back cafe type atmosphere. Excellent service. Food came out quickly. Love that the menu is ever changing. I had the dumplings, Mexican cornbread, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, and fried okra. Only thing I didn’t care for was the Mac n cheese as it didn’t taste super cheesy to me but maybe a personal preference. I would def eat here again when I’m in the mood for southern food. $47 for 3 people with tip.

Wonderful meat and three! I had the chicken pot pie and it was SO creamy and there was chicken in every bite. Fried squash has a cornmeal batter, but not dry or gritty. Fried potatoes come with caramelized onions. YUM! Hubby got the chicken fried steak and it was delish! Andy Griffith was playing on the corner TV and the decor is definitely 80s kitch, but everything was very clean. Just a good Southern restaurant with Mamaw's homestyle cooking! ----- UPDATE! I live a ways away, so it's been a couple years since I visited, but I had lunch again today, 9/15/2025, and I was NOT disappointed!! Today on their meat and 3 I got the chicken and dumplings, FRESH hand battered fried okra, creamed potatoes and gravy (SO CREAMY!), sweet corn and a roll. PHEW!! I am FULL!! I would show you the before and after photos of my plate, but Google won't give me the option to upload them for some reason. But trust me, my plate and bowl are CLEAN!! Still only $9.95!

Went with friends. We all tried something different. My friend had a quesadilla and the chicken in it was overcooked and dry. It didn’t come with salsa or sour cream so we requested (no extra charge), I had a Philly cheese and it was ok, another friend had the meatloaf and it was ok. My husband had the catfish and it was terribly overcooked and he just ate the fries and some coleslaw because the fish tasted off. The decor was bright, clean and definitely Christian oriented. The server was friendly.

This is always a favorite for a girls night home cooked meal. Laughter , family, friends. You won't find much else here. Cood food and good friends .The meat and 3 or veggie plate is the way to go . Peach cobbler is amazing! But so is the Mac n cheese.

It was a cute place. Clean. A place you might see at the Beach. I enjoyed the friendly staff and the owner. The food was fresh and delish! I enjoyed the turnip greens. They were unique. Southern style. And my favorite. Banana pudding! Served warm. Just like my grandma did.

We eat here weekly and the food is always fresh. They have a wide variety on the menu. I particularly like the hamburger steak with pepper and onions plus onions rings.
