A bit over priced, the place ots3lf was not very much to look at. They had to go to the basement to go get a bottle water for purchase. The Donuts looked amazing but didn't even taste fresh. They seem to ha e sat there all day. Like maybe not day old, but I didn't taste all that. They didn't have any plain donuts, and they all had frosting or sugar on top. They were a bit overly sweet. It wasn't terrible it wasn't good. It was "meh" to say the least. 2 out of 5 stars, more lik 1.5. I'm being generous. My kids didn't even like them.

Google
Yummy donuts. We got 5 for about $16 and it was gone in 3 minutes. My 1 year old literally had 3. We loved the cinnamon toast and brown butter the most. The gingerbread man is cute but a little messy with the filling. Maple bacon tastes more sophisticated than others. All in all very delicious donuts.

My family just stopped here for the first time and we loved the donuts! We tried a variety of flavors and they were all great. Fairly priced and in a great location.

Google
Fun place, fun name ; ) Our kids really enjoyed and staff were friendly. Great quick stop on a Friday... Decor was a bit lacking but more a function of the shared space

Google
Donut Monster is definitely in the top 3 best donut providers in the Milwaukee area. I love the variety of unique and classic flavors. The Japanese caramel donut is not too sweet and great for non-donut fans. My favorite menu items are actually their breakfast sandwiches (ate one too quick before I thought to snap a pic). A little messy, but soooo tasty. The donut "Monster" itself is adorable, which is just the icing on the...donut.

Google
VEGAN DONUTS! Their website doesn't list which ones are vegan, so you have to go in and ask for them in person. They had three different kinds of vegan donuts, I only got a chance to taste one kind and it was either cinnamon or maple, but it was EXCELLENT. The other vegan donuts were all gone by the time I was ready to go for another one. I hope they add more vegan donut versions to their menu.

Google
Maybe I'm missing something but I didn't find anything overwhelmingly amazing about the donuts from Donut Monster. I had two, a buttermilk with sprinkles and a vanilla chocolate buttercream, and was decidedly underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong they were fine, but for the price I expected some of the most amazing donuts I've ever had and I just didn't get that. The flavors were just kind of meh and the donuts felt too dense and bready. Not what I'm usually looking for in a donut. I'm always willing to give a place another try just in case they were having an off day, but truthfully I'm not expecting to change my mind with a follow-up visit. I can think of quite a few better donuts in the area for the same or lesser cost.

I tried Donut Monster for the first time today and I was very impressed. The donuts are delicious and their sandwiches are amazing! I would highly recommend the Turkey Club. It is so full of flavor and yummy. Heather was very friendly and helpful. 😊

Yelp
We walked right up on a chilly Saturday morning. There was a great selection and super friendly service. We picked up 6 donuts and a pack of English muffins to go, and split one of their amazing breakfast sandwiches before we hit the road. There are a few tables to sit and enjoy a coffee and bite to eat. The crispy bacon, fluffy egg, and melty sharp cheddar cheese spread on one of their mile high English muffins is the perfect combo. So good! We tried a lemon poppyseed, something with a blackberry preserve, one with chocolate and a yummy buttercream on top, a classic vanilla glazed, buttermilk with chocolate and sprinkles and one with vanilla and sprinkles. It's not cheap, but everything was delicious and the friendly staff are extremely helpful and kind.

Yelp
Great Small Batch Donuts in the Milwaukee Area! Love that they have Vegan donuts as well! Yummy cold brew coffee as well :)

Yelp
I was extremely impressed with Donut Monster's customer service when I interacted with them. A family member of mine passed away in an accident and he had it on his calendar to visit Donut Monster that week. We wanted to get Donut Monster donuts for his wake in his honor and they were so responsive, even on a day they weren't open. They responded to our order and Instagram message and were very kind when filling our extremely large order. The donuts were delicious and their customer service will keep our family coming back.

Yelp
Highlights 1) Doggy doughnuts available 2) Conveniently located in the Third Ward 3) Friendly service I love this spot in the 3rd Ward! It's a little tucked away in a building with a few vendors but just look for the sandwich board on the sidewalk and sign in the window. Service is fast and friendly! I had a fairly complicated coffee order and the server didn't even blink! For coffee they have drip, cold brew, and some oat milk latte varieties. They have a selection of doughnuts and fritters as well as a doggy doughnut. We tried the chocolate frosted cream filled doughnut and it was great. My dog loved his doggy treat as well!

Yelp
Yummy works of donut art! Always a fun surprise to see what they have available for the day! And don't forget the English muffins! Delish!

Yelp
I really want to love their donuts...I enjoy the new flavors and effort they put in, but the price is high for an only "ok" tasting donut. The breakfast sandwiches always hit the mark so that's worth it. But, how can you charge what you charge for a Ring Donut when it's not even glazed all the way?? #overpromisedunderdelivered

Yelp
Clone I've always been a big fan of the original location and was so excited for a 2nd to open up the street from my office. Clearly donuts can be too much of a good thing but it makes for a quicker weekend trip from the burbs or a handy stop for an egg sandwich when I'm a slacker on breakfast prep. Super friendly staff and always a great selection of product.

Yelp
Just wow. Such nice people and amazing place. The donuts are special and different with beautiful design. Recommend highly

Yelp
Maple Bacon Donut 3/5 - kind of fatty and too salty. Brown butter donut 5/5 - icing is to die for and the consistency of the donut is perfection. Get this one!!! Odd location, kind of difficult to find. Pretty on the inside though! For a Wednesday morning at 9 (open for two hours) they had 6 donuts left. Surprising! Also expensive. $9 for two donuts and a 12 oz drop coffee. Had really high hopes based off their instagram, but I might try other places before returning.

Yelp
I don't have a strong opinion about the donuts here, but holy cow the English muffins are delicious. I don't know that I'd ever really had a homemade one til I came here. Get the egg sandwich that they make to order and/or grab a bag to bring home. Staff are nice, but sometimes overwhelmed since they have kind of a small area to work and long lines of people waiting on weekends.

Yelp
Just ok. I really wanted to love this place. We've been a few times, and the flavors sound amazing. The lemon poppyseed and maple bacon were really good. The sugar and spice, Japanese caramel, cinnamon roll, and chocolate espresso, were not good. We came toward the end of the day and got half off a dozen. The cinnamon roll was full price. We actually thew out the cinnamon roll it was so bad, and I never throw away food - ever. Not one of my 4 kids would eat it. For the price, the just were not flavorful, or good. I'd be even less impressed had we paid full price.

Yelp
I was a huge fan of their delicious brown butter donut! It was a quick pickup with fast service!

Yelp
Mr. R sent me an article of the best donut in each state, which got us to talking about donuts. Having never tried Donut Monster, we decided to pop over shortly after they opened on a Saturday. We went with six donuts, plus a dog donut for the pooch once we noticed those. My choices were lemon old fashioned, cinnamon toast and brown butter. They didn't have the peanut butter and jelly one I was hoping to try, but I had also wanted to try brown butter, so one out of two isn't bad. The brown butter was subtle yet good with a noticeable hint of butter. The cinnamon toast seemed to be the same base donut, but the cinnamon sugar flavor in the glaze was very tasty and pronounced. The lemon old fashioned will go down as my favorite - super lemony yet simple. I got to try a couple bites of Mr. R's chocolate Bavarian cream filled donut, and the cream was decadent and delicious. Way richer than the Mister Donut Bavarian cream donuts from my childhood. It was nice to see a selection of hot tea, but Mr. R is pretty much just an earl gray drinker, and they didn't have that variety. Generally with donuts he reverts to the childhood donut beverage favorite, chocolate milk, but the didn't have any so we passed on beverages. There is coffee available as well. The employees wanted to see a photo of the recipient of the dog donut, and upon finding out they were dog friendly we did one better and brought her in to sample the wares firsthand. She scarfed it down in one bite, and lapped up the compliments they gave her.

Yelp
Amazing donuts and staff!! I'm very picky about donuts and where I purchase them from so when my family and I decided to try Donut Monster we were not disappointed! I was blown away by the options that were available, we choose the tropical jam and expresso donuts. My daughter opted for their massive cinnamon roll and she loved it! There was also a doggie donut available for our Aussie Cavapoo puppy that he absolutely enjoyed as well. Although we went for donuts we decided to try the cheese and egg sandwich served on a home-made English muffin. I was absolutely amazing! We've found our need source for donuts and may very well make regular trips on Sunday mornings.

Yelp
This spot is amazing and I will be coming back. The good things: one, these are made with love by an obsessive baker. I have a long list of food allergies but one of the most dangerous for me is red 40. They make all their stuff from scratch in house. That means my allergic ass can have sprinkles and they were amazing. Second, it's a passion veteran owned project. I talked to the owner a bit and their love for their product and highlighting their locally curated ingredients really showed. I love supporting veterans and vet owned businesses (my grandfather, father, brother and wife are all disabled veterans). This isn't posted anywhere and of the owners service hasn't come up in conversation I never would have known. Last... the flavors are amazing. I got an assorted box as a gift for a friend who's an executive chef and he was blown away as well. The key lime cheesecake donuts were sour, creamy, and with complex flavors that managed to come together in harmony. The blueberry fritters were not just beautiful but also had the spot on bake as well as layers of flavor. It's hard in baked goods to get a good flavor balance especially with fruit. It's easy to become too sweet or cloying but the balance of acid to sweet was bang on, and the spices were present without being overwhelming. These aren't Krispy Cremes or Dunkin' Donuts made from a giant bag of mix and cranked out by a machine with sweet on sweet and boring flavor profiles. I got a dozen mixed donuts and each one was carefully and thoughtfully composed. The old fashioned donuts were hand made with skill and care and the taste was carefully crafted by someone with an amazing palate and great skill. These are the opposite of mass produced , machine formed and boring Put another way- I find most breakfast foods bland and boring. These were honest to god gourmet donuts. A real enjoyable experience where my wife, my friends and I sat down and enjoyed and compared our thoughts like we do with gorgeous wines or fine dining. I would absolutely rather have had these donuts than a cake at a wedding, they were that good. As my former favorite donut was from VooDoo donuts in Austin (my VD peeps know) I would say these are even better because of the incredible sophistication and delicacy of the flavors. This place makes me sad that I'm keto because if I wasn't eating low carb I'd be there all the time. It's worth the half hour drive for me and I'm not a morning person. Absolutely go try the donuts. Where else can you get to appreciate actual art for $2 for breakfast?

Yelp
Some of the most delicious donuts I've ever had! Got a special on a dozen, glad I did. They didn't last long! Tasted like the freshest bread ever but somehow crossed with a donut, and very unique icing/toppings! Will be back

Yelp
My office window stares directly into the Donut Monster building, and so after only one day of them being open, I knew I would need to try it out. I went around 8:30 a.m., but there was not a ton of donuts left! I ordered the chocolate espresso donut, and lucky for me, I got the last one! It was moist, tasty, and good. I can't wait to go back and try another flavor...but will have to get there a bit earlier next time! Lastly, the staff was friendly and personable.

Yelp
I ordered the egg and avocado breakfast Ana's which. I wasn't pleased with the sandwich as it lacked flavor or seasoning. However I also bought donuts for the office. I just Yelp the closest bakery to my hotel. My staff and myself were very pleased with the donut selection and will definitely will try it again.

Yelp
Insanely good for the price, that being said, the price is a little much. a single donut will cost you 3 dollars. Wonderful food though, I got a Lemon poppyseed donut and the Japanese caramel nitro latte, both delicious, dog friendly too! (they even make doggy donuts) Will be back for seconds!

Yelp
Wasn't impressed at all, the donuts looked good but very overpriced and not very good tasting, nothing to write home about.

Yelp
Best paczki I have ever had from a bakery! This is saying a lot because growing up, I regularly made them from scratch with my Polish grandma and my mom. The paczki are just one of the wonderful donuts made here as I've sampled many of them and everything is always fresh, flavorful, innovative and delicious.

Yelp
Me and my family tried donut monster and we were not impressed. The space is nice and the donuts look good. Unfortunately they do not taste good. The few versions of old fashioned are really not good. The cinnamon roll was a sort of cream topping instead of icing. It may be what some people want, not us. Lastly the cost is very high. We paid $19 for six donuts.
