Fabulous. If you can get the weather it's a lovely little spot. No grocery store, so just remember to stop in one before you get there. Lovely pubs and atmosphere. Crab island is a fantastic surf spot but only for very good surfers, otherwise do not attempt. Ferries to Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher. Very little gluten free options available, so prepare if you're coeliac. Good hostels and camping spots.

Looking for good food, amazing irish music and places to go for trip nearby? Go to Doolin! Close to the famous Cliffs of Moher, Doolin cave, many nice trails, the Aran Islands, Lahinch and Ennistymon and other places. Very good traffic connection by bus number 350. And the town itself is jewel. Lovely sceneries and tradional irish spirit all around.

We had a beautiful trip to Doolin in August. Loved the food, scenery and people. Thankfully the weather was kind to us for the 4 days we were there. It's not really possible to get about without a car, lots to do within 30 mins drive such as Aillwee Caves and the Cliffs of Moher.

A quaint little village with nothing but beautiful views and peaceful roads. A great place to experience the wild Atlantic and dine in a local pub.

At Doolin pier, the public car park before the car park with all the ferry and boat trip offices, the one with the public toilets..., behind this carpark, if you walk towards the sea, and to the right, not only you see a nice bit of the Atlantic coming to shore but also a lot of the Burren flora. Love that place!

Such a lovely village! Perfect place to stay close to Cliff’s of Moher! If you go there just for a bed and breakfast, you should know that there is a great Doolin Pier with incredible view and you can rake boat trips from thete
