Visited Doolin House of Music with my Connect the Dots tour group in October. It was a lovely evening filled with stories of local
music and musicians. We enjoyed wonderful music, wine and treats. A perfect local experience!!

A wonderful time with Sheila and Christy in their home. The guests are delighted and the visit is a highlight of every trip. Over a glass of wine and small, lovingly prepared treats, Christy talks about Irish music and plays traditional Irish music with his friend James. A great experience!

A really enjoyable experience! A down home Irish music experience unlike all of the pubs which played contemporary music the same as we could hear at home. Delightful stories about the history of music in the Doolin area between songs. Keeping the traditions alive! Highly recommended!

Unique experience. The music and story telling and people telling them make this place special. It's an intimate setting, only a handful of guests in a home. The food and wine served are also very good. I highly recommend.

Great private event in the home of one of the two musicians. Very intimate. We had about 12 when we went. They might be able to seat up to 25, but no more than that. Great way to hear and learn about traditional Irish music and to listen to a good storyteller.

The Doolin music house is a must do
experience while visiting Doolin! It was an absolute pleasure to hear Christy and his friends play local tunes. The pride and respect Christy has for music is shown while he plays and also through the way he tells stories. It was a true honor to attend the session. We also really enjoyed getting to talk with Sheila. She provided an assortment of local cheese and crackers that were fantastic along with wine to sip on throughout the event. This was a true highlight of our honeymoon and next time we're back in town this will be the number one thing to do on our list!

Exceptional experience everyone should go to. A way to learn and hear the stories of the way Doolin and traditional Irish music has evolved. And who better to learn and listen to than the amazing Christy Barry. Could not recommend this more, from the time you enter Christy and Sheila's home you're greeted with the warmest welcome, peat fire burning allows you to close your eyes and instantly feel a sense of calm and content. Entering their living room you are surrounded by gorgeous portraits of all the greats. Sheila offers light food and drink while Christy offers an array of stories and musical delights uninterrupted by the oblivious tourists that you would find talking over the music in the local pubs. Such a special night that will stay vivid in my mind for years to come.
