Pete and I visited Christy and Sheila's a couple of nights ago. They were so welcoming. It was a pleasure to be invited into their home snd listen to the stories, history and music Christy was able to tell. He brought Irish life alive over the last 100 years, and spoke in depth of some of the people he held dear. The supper was lovely, prepared by Sheila and her neighbour. We were invited to the Roadside pub to enjoy more music as Christy was meeting friends there. I can honestly say it was the best evening we had spent in Doolin. Far better than going to the pub. Thank you Christy and Sheila. We hope to come back next year, and will be sure to visit again.

This is excellent. I work as a tour guide and Doolin Music House has been on my list for a long time. The musicians, Chirsty, Conor and James, were masters of their trade. Their storytelling is as good. They transport you back into the essence of what made Doolin the focal point of Irish traditional music. Sheila holds the house in great style and hospitality too. A truly great Irish home experience. Be sure to schedule your day in the area to include a visit. Highly recommended. Thank you to all of you.

Visited them for a performance last night. What a treat. Most genuine hospitality with friendship and happiness extended through stories and traditional Irish music. A must experience.

Christy and Sheila are keeping Irish music, storytelling and hospitality alive and well in County Clare - a lovely experience not to be missed if you get the chance to visit

A really enjoyable experience! A down home Irish music experience unlike all of the pubs which played contemporary music the same as we could hear at home. Delightful stories about the history of music in the Doolin area between songs. Keeping the traditions alive! Highly recommended!

In the presence of masters! Christy is a legend, but the musicians that join him are also extraorindary! We had the added pleasure of a breathtaking solo from Conor Kean of his 'Star of Brittany'. It was both sad and beautiful at the same time. Sheila and her friends were lovely hosts and served lovely beverages and light snacks of smoked salmon and local cheeses. Don't miss an opportunity to visit The Doolin Music House!
