Starter: A plate of assorted local cheeses with jam, pickled vegetables, and homemade bread. Excellent.
Main courses: Very tasty lamb and homemade pasta with a ragout of duck, rabbit, and pigeon. Both dishes were rich in flavor, and the portions were just the right size.
Desserts: Tiramisu and a deconstructed cake. The cream in the tiramisu set a very high standard for all tiramisus.
The wine list is extensive, with several local wines available by the glass (among them an exceptional Brunello di Montalcino San Polo, which inspired us to head straight to Montalcino after the meal).
The staff was helpful and friendly.
