Doppio Coffee

Well this place is an amazing find. Coffee is very well prepared and roasted to a great flavor. Not bitter, but solid roasted flavor. Nice! Stay are all friendly and welcoming. Breakfast sandwiches are fresh bread and tastefully constructed. And the scone is as tasty as it looks. Food, drinks, staff and ambiance are the best: delicious and artful. 👍

Stopped at this eatery for lunch before heading out to Mt. Hood Lodge. We had sandwiches and smoothies and they were all delicious. Customer service is top notch plus the Oregon berry smoothie was amazing.

Really excellent breakfast! I truly enjoyed every aspect of the breakfast I got! The avacado toast was made well and the goat cheese was a great touch. I added some salt and hot sauce to mine and it was perfect! The iced Chai tea was really nice and had a good balance of spice and sweet. I also really enjoyed my Greek yogurt with fruit as well! This was wonderful! I loved how parking is free before 8 am in the town so I wasnt worried about the meter! The baked goods looked amazing and we will have to try them next time!

Got an Iced Tea, and a Cappuccino, very centrally located, great indoor and outdoor seating, and easy to understand and manage menu for a coffee spot, you can tell this is a great meeting spot for many. Service was quick and definitely more genuinely enjoyed by the staff, which is nice to see. The vibe was one of caffeine, laughter, and future ambitions or adventures. Such a nice spot.

It would have been 5 stars all around except I had to wait 15 minutes for a smoothie, which would not have been a big deal except several people that came in after me were served before me and several employees were standing around chatting. Kinda frustrating. Other than that things were great. Mango smoothie was awesome and the snickerdoodle was delicious. Atmosphere was nice and I really liked the shop itself.

Bagels are fresh and very tasty. Service was polite and very prompt, considering the place was filled with parents with children. Latte excellent. Tables clean. The window that opens onto the patio was open, and the fresh Hood River air kept the place cool.

Great quick lunch spot. We got the mango smoothie and a peach pear apricot smoothie and they were both delicious. For lunch I'd recommend the BLAT - a delicious BLT with avocado and mixed greens on sourdough. Salads are also yummy. Friendly staff with lots of table seating.

Super cute in the heart of the town area. I don't know if I would go back. The service was good and the location was great! I think the sandwiches were just a little too bland for me

Aye Doppio keeps it trippy and is your standard PNW coffee shop staffed by Gen Z workers and their lame tattoo stickers as well as trill coffee and food. Vibe kept it real, and pops off. 5 stars.

Pretty good selection of pastries too. Good vibe. Very Hood River. Line almost out the door on a busy Friday post breakfast per lunch time. Very friendly service.

We came back to Doppio a second time in our two day stay in Hood River. The iced lattes were super yummy, as were their pastries and avocado toast. It's a busy shop and for good reason. Give yourself some time (don't be in a rush). We will be back!

Really good coffee! We both had vanilla lattes. Mine didn't seem like it had any in it. I asked last second so I think they may have forgotten - no big deal. I dumped some brown sugar and cinnamon in it- good to go. The service was friendly. The atmosphere was clean and simple- earthy, I liked it. Several people doing stuff on their laptops so I presume they have WiFi. I would definitely return.

Our favourite coffee shop at Hood River. They open till 6 pm, which is great. Love that you can get a good coffee cup at the afternoon. Pastries are fresh, so far we like everything we tried. Breakfast and lunch food choices are various and delicious. Have gluten free and vegetarian options. Coffee is always solid.

Went to Doppio for the first time a few weeks ago when they advertised an affogato special for Labor Day. I've passed by it many times and always been intrigued by the big, dining room windows that open up to the patio, creating an open air feeling inside. The affogato was a nice treat to stop in for, although it was limited time offering as far as I know. They have a huge menu of drinks and food that I look forward to coming back and trying sometime!

Hood River OR Rode the Harley and took M for the day. Really hungry about 1pm and we parked the bike and looked at 5 or 6 menus up and down the street before we found this place. So glad we couldn't agree in a menu until here. The food was amazing. Seating was pretty good and they fill orders pretty quickly. I'm pretty sure we are coming back when we want an hour ride out of Portland. Really great Sammy's

Their coffee is spectacular, not too bitter and not weak, it's just right. I wish I got some ground beans. It's honestly one of the best coffees I had in a while. The gluten free pumpkin muffin wasn't good but I am blaming it on being gluten free.

When I think of "good coffee shop," Doppio is the vibe I am thinking of. It is in a great location, right in the heart of downtown Hood River. They have nice big windows which open onto a giant patio. On summer weekends, Portlanders flock here and you will see them enjoying treats. The quality is high (8/10), the vibe is good (9/10), and service is friendly. My partner and her friend were heading out to Hood River for a concert, and I said "drop me off at Doppio and I'll do my work from there". Good call -- it's always an enjoyable experience. This afternoon, I had a cold brew (7/10) with oat milk, and a blueberry scone (8/10).

We went here on a Sunday morning for some coffee and breakfast before our hike and it was great!! There was lots of indoor and outdoor seating, and the staff was super friendly. We ordered the tuna sandwich and a yogurt bowl. The tuna was great quality and we were super satisfied! I added banana to the yogurt bowl and really enjoyed it. For coffee, I ordered an americano with pumpkin spice and almond milk. It was great! I love the flavor of their espresso. My boyfriend ordered a white chocolate hazelnut mocha and said it was delicious. Highly reccomend for a breakfast or lunch spot :)

The atmosphere and outdoor seating here is nice, but the gluten free bread on my sandwich was tiny and dry.

Atmosphere is nice. Flavor is good. But, don't think the ratio of mozzarella is adequate. Maybe just call it a tomato sandwich instead of caprese?

Lovely outdoor space! Perfect for a breezy summer afternoon. My dad and I came here after doing Hood River Railbikes and cruising through the farmer's market. We both got decaf Americanos - his hot, mine iced. Both very tasty! Would come back!

I was in Italy drinking coffee at bars a few months ago, so let me tell you: this place is super fuckin legit

Amazing coffee place. Their coffee is strong which is what I like. They also have macchiato and cortado too. The place has some bakery items too. Their seating area for the summer and the interior seating area is also very cozy.

We really enjoy grabbing breakfast or brunch at Doppio when we are in Hood River. Found it a couple of years ago literally walking from the toy store to the book store. Great egg sandwiches and cleverly decorated drinks. I am having a #1 right now - egg, sausage, and cheddar on a ciabatta. For a dink I chose the Peach Ring Lemonade. Wife is having oatmeal with raisins and brown sugar. Listening to great 80's music and relaxing before a drive. Cool indoor seating and two levels of outdoor seating. If you're ever in Hood River, check this place out !!

I was sure glad to see you open! It's been a year between visits as I vacation in Oregon, and I sure hoped you'd be here. We love eating in this restaurant. It's always super clean. I get great service, and with a smile. The food is delicious, I'm having porridge today. I really love that the dishes are not paper packaging. It's a wonderful place to sit, enjoy good music and have a delightful date. I'll be back again soon.

Everything about this place is phenomenal. I got the best pumpkin spice latte I've ever had. The egg sandwich with veggie sausage has amazing hummus on it. The ambiance is perfect. Such a cute coffee shop vibe plus a lovely outdoor seating area with lots of tables and a water fountain. I only wish I lived closer so I could come more often.

Is there anything better than stopping for a meal after a great hike? Conveniently located near all the great waterfalls and trails in the Columbia Gorge, you can stumble in here after your adventures and be restored. Even better if you're with your bestie, like I was. We sat outside, sipped our coffe, ate some good bites (the menu has something for everyone, not just pastries but substantial meals), and shared secrets. The sunrise, the forest, the companionship of someone who really gets it - this is living. Clean, comfortable, friendly, and enough space to enjoy it. Bring a friend.

While I usually frequent Dog River Coffee when I visit this charming town, I enjoy the vibe here too. I'm drawn to breakfast sandwiches, and the menu provides ample choices including a yummy veggie sausage. It's not a super standout, but is better than average and I'd order it again. In the photo it included shredded cabbage (which is preferred), but mine came with leaf spinach. They also offer a nice basket selection of hot sauces, including two they sell by the bottle. I also enjoyed the Thai Iced coffee, thankfully, it's not as sweet as what you might be accustomed to at a Thai restaurant. Very friendly and fast service and COVID-aware.

Meh. For breakfast the food here is spotty; not the full breakfast experience we were looking for (which seems very hard to find in downtown Hood River, which is weird). Anyway, wife got the breakfast sandwich that had egg, sausage, spinach and humus and that was delicious. I got the breakfast sandwich that had just egg and sausage and that was meh. Kids both got peanut butter and jelly sandwich which they did not like and didn't want to finish. The bread was cold like straight from the refrigerator. Between the self service ordering and bussing, we won't becoming back here again. Before this we tried three other places for a traditional "sit down and order" breakfast experience and none of those places could give us that. So this place was our 4th choice. Wow, downtown Hood River desperately needs some good breakfast choices!

Great Latte! Vegetarian panning would have been a 5 star but it was so so oily! Probably oil from roasted red peppers in addition to the extra olive oil. Hope the chef reads this review! But I'll be back!

10/10 would recommend :) Ordered an iced americano with room (with option of oat milk, whole milk, and half &half), an iced mocha, a caprese panini, and a B.L.A.T.. The coffee was fantastic (and I'm a slight espresso snob), the barista was friendly, and the atmosphere was classy and welcoming. I could see myself making this my coffee spot if I lived in the area. Their pastries looked incredible.. especially their vanilla blueberry muffin.. but we didn't try any as we were on our way to a river rafting trip.

I come from PDX for this coffee. It's sooo good. I like that they always have gluten free options. Also their paninis are slamming. I really appreciate that they have outdoor seating. A+++++

Best coffee shop in Hood River. Food is always perfect and correct, coffee is always wonderful, the baristas are great. The service is always lovely. It's always my first pick for coffee and is money well spent.

We stopped at Doppio Coffee on a Tuesday morning after staying at the beautiful Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa, & it was bustling! We parked easily in front & got a delicious, creamy oat milk latte & Americano with one of their homemade, gluten-free orange scones. Doppio Coffee has a great array of alt-milks, drinks, and amazingly delicious HOMEMADE pastries, including gluten-free & healthy pastries (e.g. avocado, chocolate muffins). No need to miss out just because of health needs, especially if you don't need a gluten-free baking environment. I eat gluten-free, on occasion, to feel better. That said, if I came back, I'd probably try their amazing-looking regular gluten apple turnovers! Everything was delicious & service was friendly! There was plenty of seating in their light-filled cafe. If you're in the area & you want a delicious breakfast with very good coffee, (& I know good coffee after living in Portland!), go to Doppio Coffee!

Came here on a work trip to Hood River. Service was very pleasant, but a bit slow, but overall, everyone was happy with the quality of the food. I ordered their tuna salad for lunch, which was good and filling, but would have liked more variety in the salad outside of it just having greens in terms of vegetables. Sandwiches seem big and filling. Lots of seasonal options and yummy pastries for a quick breakfast too!

Cozy cafe with a lot of seating and options for food and drink. We came in one busy rainy morning and things were packed, but we were able to find a hightop table in the courtyard that was covered and dry. The service was quick and friendly. I had avocado toast which was good but a bit underwhelming and an Oregon Berry smoothie, which was perfect. The smoothie was nice and thick without it feeling like a milkshake, sweet without being cloying, and not too much to have with breakfast. My partner had a matte tea which he enjoyed and a parfait, which he was also underwhelmed by. Still worth a stop in!

This coffee is amazing. The staff is well trained, friendly and efficient. If you order a breakfast sandwich they make it in front of you. Everything is fresh and the flavor mixes are outstanding. My favorite is the honey+lavender latte. A must stop in Hood River.

Found this gem on Yelp and we were not disappointed. Got there early on a Saturday morning and plenty of parking. Seems a lot of their business is to-go but we thoroughly enjoyed our lattes, chocolate chip/hazelnut scone and bagel breakfast sandwiches with cream cheese, tomato and fresh basil. Delish and will definitely be back on our next trip to Hood River.

This place is A-ok. Food and coffee are good, atmosphere is really nice. I wouldn't seek this one out but I wouldn't shy away when if I am in the area. Service is great, staff is friendly and helpful.

Thai coffee is really good, dunno if it's actually Thai coffee though or if that's just a marketing thing. Breakfast sandwiches are really good and perfectly worth what they're charging at $8, which is a rarity in Hood River. The thing that I love most about them though is that their music is quiet enough that you can talk over it, but loud enough that I can go to the bathroom and not worry about anyone hearing anything. Some places you can hear a pin drop let alone a pee trickle.

My latte and bagel breakfast sandwich were fantastic! I'm so used to frozen egg patties on to-go breakfast sandwiches, but this one was fresh off the griddle and toasted to perfection. We'll be making this a regular stop on our trips through central OR!

Doppio is such a cute little cafe, with a wide variety of sandwich, salad, and soup options. I got an egg sandwich with veggie sausage, spinach, and cheddar, stacked between two toasted pieces of soft ciabatta, which was delicious. Some of the other things we tried included the tuna salad, roasted vegetable panini, tuna salad sandwich, and turkey pesto sandwich. We were pretty happy with all that we ordered, and they were all relatively reasonably priced, coming in at about $12 a lunch sandwich and $8 for my egg sandwich. Something to note is that the lunch sandwiches were $4 more than the breakfast sandwiches, but they were basically the same size. The only difference was the lunch sandwiches also came with chips and and were on sourdough instead of ciabatta. So, if you like what the breakfast sandwich selection has to offer and are willing to forgo the chips for a day, I'd say the breakfast menu is your way to go (they serve it all day!). They also have an extensive coffee and drink menu, which we unfortunately didn't explore too much. My mom ordered a soy milk cappuccino, which she really enjoyed, but that was about it. They also have several pastries options, which we didn't try, but all looked delicious. Overall, I really enjoyed this cafe and would come back again! It's a perfect spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch, and they have big benches and tables on the inside to comfortably accommodate large groups as well.

7/27/2020 Great coffee with oatmilk and their bagels with hummus and avocado toast with goat cheese are pretty good! The bagel is big and it has the consistency of bread not the usual dense kind so we loved it even more with hummus! Good sweets as well. We had our morning coffee and breakfast there every day and no regrets on not trying out every single great coffee shops around the area:)

I am giving this coffee shop 5 stars for a few reasons. Coffee was consistent each time I went, the pastries were super delicious, and the staff was super nice each time we dropped in. We were just here visiting and needed a local coffee shop to get to. All the coffee we got was awesome. Good flavor the right temperature. The pastries we had were very good. All nice and soft, filled with flavor. The only thing I could say needed improvement was the food, but not for lack of quality. The quality was there. Finely crafted, cooked correctly. It was just missing something. My wife and I decided it was just missing some spices/salt we believe. We got a few breakfast sandwiches one day and a avocado toast the next. Both were missing some spice. but very good still! All in All. Great place! I'd recommend.

Dippio is one of my favorite coffee spots in hood river. They have a variety of alternatives milks and have gluten free options. There customer service is good even when they are busy and the drinks are always well made.

Love the egg sandwiches here! I got the bacon, egg, tomato and cheddar one with ciabatta and it was perfectly light and delicious. They have a big window that opens up for a indoor/outdoor experience as well as several tables outside for outdoor seating. Overall a great place to stop by for some breakfast in Hood River!
