Seafood was great - got to try it! but I don’t recommend taking insalata verde - my stomach felt weird afterwards

Even though the food was good, I will only give 2 stars to this restaurant due to the extremely inefficient service and crazy long waiting times. We booked a table at 9.30 pm, we arrived on time and the waiter asked us to wait outside while she was cleaning the table. We waited for a total of one hour standing outside without further informations, and they even seated a couple that arrived 40 minutes after us. We waited an hour to have the dish served. We finished eating later than midnight, such a disappointment.

I recently visited this small restaurant in Naples, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The food was overpriced and, honestly, not worth the cost. I ordered the seafood risotto, which was underwhelming to say the least. It tasted more like something you'd get at a fast food joint than a traditional Italian restaurant. To make matters worse, when I asked for a glass of rosé wine, they informed me they didn’t have any. Can you imagine that, especially in Italy, where wine is such an integral part of the dining experience? There are far better restaurants in Naples that offer both superior food and service for a fraction of the price. I would not recommend this place—don’t waste your night here.

Inspired by Julia Vysotskaya story it was decided to try this fish restaurant in Napoli. Our score without any doubts - 5! Finally visited twice. All - food and service - worth trying. Thank you!

I went on a Wednesday night with a friend to have the special of the house, pasta with lobster (€ 26 per portion), the menu clearly said the portion includes half lobster and even my friend got half lobster with their portion, but when mine came it only had one tiny piece not even a quarter. I complained and the waiters came with all sort of absurd excuses, shouting and putting their hands close to my face. It is not for a piece of lobster that I complain but they were very rude the place is famous and the food is good but they treat clients very poorly.

I found out about Dora’s from Air France when I was going from New York where I live to Paris and then Naples, it was recommended on the points of internet map and I’m happy that we got the chance to check it out because it is totally worth it! It is themed like a ship and I highly recommend the Tuna Tartare!
