We had a blast at this lake! The water temperature was perfect for the kids. The muddy sand was soft and we had the beach area to ourselves for about an hour. It was nice and relaxing! There were plenty of spots around the lake to hang out. We found a path from a parking area and came across a nice spot.

We had a hard time finding a place to start hiking near the lake because there were two road closures blocking the way to the point we had planned to start. So we drove to Bake Stuart Park and started there. We ended up walking around 5.5 miles. It was mostly flat. Beautiful river flowing into the lake.

Kind of dont even want to share how amazing this lake is because I dont want it to get over populated like others in the area, but this lake is great. There are so many areas to set up your own spot on enjoy the water. The water is surprisingly warm as well. The mountains, trees, and flowers as round the lake are beautiful as well. Truly a relaxing enjoyable place to spend a few hours.

Beautiful trail for longboarding, biking, rollerblading, or running. Also saw a group of guys fishing, and they seemed satisfied when they left.
