Dorint Charlottenhof Halle (Saale)

Very decent hotel. Great location, very sweet and helpful staff. The come for a little chat, they love it if you practice your German. Breakfast is great with vegan(!!) and vegetarian options. Also healthy options. Beds are okay, rooms are clean and neat. Decent large safe in which your laptop fits. Towels are clean and soft. Free water

Our stay was good. The location is easy to find. There is enough places to park. The room is very good isolated from external noises. The rooms are very big with all that you need in order to have a comfortable stay. The staff was very friendly. The buffet as huge and even there is a corner with only vegan products. I can recommend the Hotel if you are looking for a good place to stay.

Stayed two nights for a business trip. Nice clean room, bonus that they has air-conditioning! Great breakfast buffet with many choices. Had dinner in their restaurant that was excellent and reasonably priced. Good location close to train station. Friendly staff.

Hotel was good - not really a 4star though. Rooms were clean and spacious. Bathroom good with exception of the paper thin hard towels.|Restaurant device was very good attentive the menu needs to be reviewed and updated.|One issue was it was very dark and depressive particulate in the reception area - in fact from the outside looking through the glass doors it look as if the hotel was closed.

I do regularly recommend this hotel to my business and private guests. It's central, you'll get a very good service, rooms are fine, breakfast is fab and there is a spa as well. So all check. The hotel has it's own parking garage. If you dislike the hotel dinner offer for some reason, you can easily walk to the city centre and explore more restaurants or bars there. In my point of view this is one of the best hotels in Halle.

The location of the hotel is very good - close to the main train station and also to the city centre. The room was spacious and pretty, the staff was very friendly and the spa is a great addition. My only complaint is that the heater is behind a thick wooden panel and therefore the room won't heat up. The panel was cozily warm but the room was cold (and that with the outside temperature below zero).

The Charlottenhof is a comfortable mid sized hotel in a good location in Halle. It is a mere five mi utes walk from the hauptbahnhof which is very convenient and a short walk to the aldstadt. Staff are helpful and multilingual. Rooms are perfectly fine for the price range. Special mention should go to the early thirties decor which was just enough of a twist to be interesting without being intrusive. Criticisms are the breakfast which is pretty minimal for 16 euro. But it's close enough to a nice cafe that it doesn't matter. If you can, book rooms on the south side of the building. There is a bar on the north side which is annoyingly loud at night. The rooms also lack air conditioning which in the summer of 2018 was a definite negative point.

I had 2 nights this hotel. It was so nice. Rooms are ok, cleaning proses is good. Breakfast buffet is so rich. WiFi connection is just perfect. But most important thing is personal. They are really professional, helpful and friendly. I would like to special thanks to Mr. Sabri Imir from restaurant. He is so professional, friendly and so helpful. Also all reception team is so nice. Thank you for great effort.
