The location is great. Our room is very spacious and clean. The bed is quite large and very comfortable. The bathtub is really nice to have. However we paid almost 250€ per night so we expect more. There are just a few small things that could be better. For example, the air conditions was making noises all the time. Our room was cleaned only twice in 5 days and the staff forgot to refill coffee and tea. The breakfast room was quite small for a hotel this size. So it was really packed between 9:00 and 10:00. The breakfast was only adequate. It could use some variety. The staff was always polite and friendly.

1) I don't sleep on a plastic bag at home, and neither do I want to in a hotel. Plastic incontinence pads are 100% unacceptable. Skin breathes. If I have to make the bed first thing in the evening to remove the pad, the stay is off to a very bad start. 2) The room cannot be darkened. A lot of light comes into the room since the early morning. It would be possible to simply install a strip in front of the curtains to act as a light barrier. That's what others do. Conclusion: I slept poorly and insufficiently. Unsatisfactory. Receptionist was very friendly upon arrival and breakfast was good. No complaints there.

This hotel is a mixed bag, which I will divide into 2 parts: the room, and the service.||The room: very comfortable. The bed was great, and the large bathroom had a strong shower. It's well designed and quiet. My TV wasn't working and after one day they replaced the TV with a new one. Casting worked but many chanells (English ones) were habitually out. There's an ice maker on every floor, but no ice bucket. The minifridge was good. Overall I liked the room.||The service: a very mixed bag. I called for an ice bucket and plug adapter to be sent to my room. The desk manager advised that they would charge me 7 euros to send me the ice bucket, or I could come down and pick one up. Likewise the adapter, I needed to come down to get it and a 20 euro deposit would be taken. I expressed my opinion that this wasn't in keeping with a 4 star hotel, to which I was shocked to hear "we're not a 4 star hotel, we aren't rated, we're a no-star hotel". I advised that this is not how Expedia sells the property, to which he said "that's up to Expedia". I advised that clearly they had an agreement with Expedia that was misleading, that if the hotel didn't offer 4 star service I would have stayed elsewhere. He and the rest of the front desk staff are uninterested in providing courteous service. As a VIP Gold Expedia member I requested late check out as a perk, but was charged 30 euros to have the room till 4. After an hour they called and confirmed I could stay late free of charge. Room service 3pm-10p only||Good location, good price, comfy room, mediocre service.

We had a 2 week trip to Europe and stayed 4 nights at the Dorint. We all agree this was our #1. My husband loved the Sofitel bed. The breakfast was outstanding. As Americans we appreciated the well-done and plentiful bacon. We loved the egg options, juices, breads. Outstanding coffee. Great service in the breakfast room. |Room was large, with a bathtub and shower. Neighborhood was fine. Train station was about 10 min away. Not too bad for us but my mom (70s) struggled a bit. You can get the S easily as well as buses but they are more crowded. There’s a Lidl across the street|Lots of restaurants in Ku’Damm-we liked the German chain Block House-we ate there several times and were never disappointed. |As others have written there is an ice machine but no ice buckets, we used the coffee maker and bag. In room mini fridge and coffee maker. There’s also still water in the gym. We filled our water bottles up every day. This was not something we had at the NH hotel chain.

Due to the war I was not able to arrive at the hotel since all flights were canceled. I called and wrote messages asking to change the date or cancel and no one answered any of my messages. Never had such a disrespectful service!! At the end they even sent a message they hope I enjoyed my stay 😫

Top place to stay in Berlin. The bar in the ground floor is fabulous. Kind attention. Plugs everywhere for charging electronic devices. Bathroom have always soap and even moisturizing cream.

The room never cleaned or bring new hand towels and bath towels. Every day I have to reminds in the reception that they bring it to me. This is absolutely not appropriate for the hotel of the class to which they consider yourself

stayed 1 night, the hotel is a 5 star according to the ratings they have 1 small complementary water for two people WOW go figure not even to make coffee. Breakfast was good however. staff were friendly. The place is easy to get to by train. just do some research if you take the train.
